Rizo will honor your HK VIP card. Your free drink can only be redeemed at HK though.

What's the earliest daytime flight out of LAX that is reasonable to schedule if you are spending the night in Tijuana?

I don't mean to schedule a flight at 5 am and leave Tijuana at one in the morning, I am talking about an early afternoon flight. Would it be possible?

Most fresh chicas in HK do not know about Rizo. When that happens you have to have a security explain it. Even then some girls would refuse to go there anyway because they don't want to cross the street. It happened to me a few times.

All things considered, we are kind of splitting hairs. Both have their weak and strong points.

    Cascada vs. Rizo

I have stayed at both hotels and prefer Rizo.

#1 - The layout, with Rizo I have never had any issues getting to & from my room. At Cascadas there are limited ways up, and during busy times the elevators can be painfully slow. I'm not opposed to walking the stairs, but chicas in heels are.

#2 - Chicas in heels. Cascada has primarily tile floors and you can hear the click-clack of heels allll the time. Rizo is mostly carpeted, although there is some tile. But the noise pollution seems to be much less.

#3 - The mesero I befriended is at Tropical, he takes care of me, so its nice to come downstairs and go straight there.

#4 - This is a very minor detail, but I don't have to cross the street to go to Oxxo. If I need a drink, or supplies, its a short sidewalk away.

They are pretty much the same price, and ran by the same group, if you are a cascadas regular and haven't tried Rizo, I would give them a shot and find out for yourself.

I have not stayed in Cas since the pandemic. Rizo is much more personal and generally with less noise pollution. You are right, they are more responsive, although they have their times also that they never pick up the phone or your request drops into oblivion. Still my preference is Rizo for many reasons. What Cas going for it is the Master Suites, but getting there to your room can be frustrating.

There was a disgusting theft and cheating going on in both Cas and Rizo before. Since they took away the reservation from the front desk control and gave it to a one entity in the back office, things have gotten a lot better. Either way, watch your money you put on the desk, your payment amount and your change carefully when you are up in front of them, specially when you are with a girl.

Yeah, I've gotten to know some of the front desk folks myself and never had any real issues at Cascadas so don't see a reason to stay anywhere else in the Zona.

I personally never use safes in any hotel as I've never trusted them (though that's probably just me being overly paranoid). Without going into details I store my money / valuables elsewhere.

For extra towels and soaps I always guesstimate how many additional I'll need (based on the number of chicas I anticipate having in my room) and tip $2 to one of the hotel staff to bring all the additional towels and soaps up to my room. Also an additional roll of toilet paper in case I need it. Sometimes they already have extra towels in the room, sometimes they don't. I usually do this the first day I'm there, soon after I check-in. But getting more towels and soaps has never been an issue for me, that's always been handled pretty quickly. It's better (at least in my experience) to just ask one of the hotel staff that's walking around but you can also just call the front desk.

With all that said I've never stayed at Rizo so yeah, I think I'll probably given them a try at least for one night later this year. I've become partial to Rizo / Tropical because I have befriended a mesero at Tropical and he always takes great care of me. Rizo has great accommodations, and when I started going to Tijuana (back in 2017) prices were less than Cascadas. Now that they have completed renovations at Rizo, prices seem to be the same between both hotels, and IMO are far more expensive than they need to be. I'm sure this probably has alot to do with a captive audience, and little competition with Jalos being a shithole and Adelitas / Coahuila being closed (AFAIK they haven't reopened yet).
Yes, at least for the most basic room ("Deluxe Single") the pricing is exactly the same between Rizo and Cascadas, though for most other rooms Cascadas is slightly more. I personally would never stay at Rizo just because I have a good relationship with one of the meseros at the connected bar but that's just me. You can still walk over to Tropical from Cascadas easily enough and you are allowed to bring Topical bar girls back across the street to Cascadas for no additional charge. While I like Tropical I'm more comfortable at Cascadas so I always stay there. Haven't ever found a reason to stay at Rizo, especially now with the pricing between Rizo and Cascadas being nearly the same.

However, if I want to partake in a club girl from Tropical, HK or Chavelas. Paying for a short stay room also becomes costly. So I'll probably stay at Rizo unless someone has any advice on cheaper hotels in the Zona with decent accommodations. I won't stay anywhere like Jalos. I need to have at least a TV, working climate controls & wifi.
For the days you're going the VIP card is a 20 percent discount each weekend day and then a 70 percent discount on Monday. One free drink every day. And for Cascadas guests you get free breakfast every Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, not sure if you even have to be a VIP member for the breakfast, you might just only need to be staying at Cascadas. If you do the math you're definitely saving well over the pricing for the VIP card.

One thing to note is Rizo does have a coupon where you can get 40 percent off any Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday night, though that offer can't be used in combination with a VIP card (coupon available on the Tropical website here: https://tropicaltijuana.com/wp-conte...f-Hotel-v1.pdf). Since the Rizo VIP card offers 70 percent off on Mondays and Tuesdays, Wednesdays would be the best day to use that coupon.

At least the way I see it, hotels like Cascadas and Rizo provide very good value all things considered, especially with the discounts provided. And they're not adding additional taxes, resort fees, etc. To the prices like they would here in the States. At Cascadas and Rizo the price you see is the price you get. There's something to be said for that.

Definitely agree on hotels like Jalos. While I'd be fine using it as a short-time (30 minutes or an hour) room, I'd never stay the night at a hotel like that.

    Last time club girls at.

    - HK were asking $100 (at the time the peso was trading around 19 to 1) and I was able to negotiate to around 1800 MXN.

    - Tropical were asking $80-100, but I was routinely able to negotiate 1400-1600 MXN.

    - Chicago was all over the place with some girls asking for $100-120, and some girls as low as $75. Was usually able to negotiate 1200-1500 MXN.

I have read that some club girls are asking for $150+ now?

In 2026, how likely am I to still be able to negotiate close to previous prices, and / or stay within my budget. Should I be expecting to increase my budget for this trip? Any and all discussion, tips, advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
Yes, in general you should expect to pay (slightly) more than you were paying in late 2023. But inflation has been a thing everywhere in recent years so that actually shouldn't be surprising.

I don't partake in street girls so I can't speak to that. I've also never tried to negotiate in pesos.

Nowadays at HK chicas' asking prices might start at around $150 but the vast majority will accept $120 with little to no negotiation (at least in my experience). Many (though probably not most, not sure) will still take $100 if that's your final offer. Might even still be able to go as low as $80 with some but I'm not much for negotiating and hassling on pricing, that kind of thing can turn into a headache pretty quickly, at least for me.

At Tropical I believe most girls still accept $100, with some even willing to do $80. One regular chica I have at Tropical who used to work at HK I pay $120. I've never heard of a chica at Tropical asking for more than $120 (again, this is just my experience) and some chicas will even start at $100.

Chicago is roughly the same as Tropical pricing-wise. In my experience chicas there have a starting asking price of $120 or $100 and the vast majority will accept $100. With Chicago though the short-term room is an extra $20 or $21 so you have to factor that into the pricing also. Some chicas there might accept $80 though I haven't gone that low in years there.

At some of the other, off-brand clubs in Zona Norte you can still regularly pick up chicas for $80 or $100, maybe even slightly less than that with some.

    Good luck!

    Rosarito Strip Clubs

Visiting Rosarito for about a week. I'll make a trip to ZN one night but would like to not go back and forth every night. Is there any action to be had at Bad Girls, Foxys, Bada Bing, or such?

Flight to MDN from where I am sucks, unless SF. At SFO The return flight dumps you at 11 PM at night, no go for me.

    December Visit

Walked into Korea after a late arrival. Zona Shuttle had stopped running and I felt I was up for walking to the Zona in winter. But was told no when I asked if I could have a room for the night. Instead opted for Riviera (roughly opposite the old Playboy club), bad choice, poor room (worse than the previous two I've had when staying there). Suddenly a new charge for bringing girls there had appeared too. "No refunds" said the sign on the wall that she indicated to me when I complained that it was a shithole and I didn't want to stay a second night. Oh well. I encountered an older lady with some passable English, I think over near Velario, but she seemed OK, so brought her back for very lackluster performance and she just upped and left before delivering what we'd agreed. Got some work done the next day. They do at least have WiFi. And eventually ventured out and went for basic covered service with one of the girls who smiled at the corner of Primera and Constitution. It was OK. I went for some beer, there are a few breweries along Revolucion 3rd-Ticuan, and I hit them moderately hard. By the time I'd called in at the Dragon Rojo metal bar on Primera, I was feeling no pain. Took myself to Odisea (formerly Playboy), as I've had some success there and have a number for Paulette, who's everything I could want. We went for a room after she was kissing me enthusiastically within 2 minutes of entering the place (I got her a lady drink), I have to admit I could have more thorough memories of it, but Figral didn't let me down. I had left most of my cash back in the room, so had to run and get it after we were done. $25 room fee, $90 for her, I'll get her to come see me instead when I have a less embarrassing hotel room, their hotel is a quick taxi ride (easy walk, just across the road beyond Chicago). Since I was feeling so shy and they gave us to room right by the reception desk, I was looking to hang her out the window facing the desk and rail her hard, but she wasn't quite up for that or didn't understand wtf I was wittering about.

My usual favourite Imis wasn't in town, it seemed, messaged me back a few days later to say roughly see you next time.

Sunday I made my usual visit to Chicago, they have a useful linea shuttle and I'm just after couple of lady dances / drinks. Bibi did me great, shoving her boobs in my mouth, chewing my ears, letting me full on finger her deep for just a couple of lady drinks. If Jalos didn't suck. Linea was about 40 minutes, got my duty free Winstons at Tijuana Duty Free on the way out ($28/ carton).

Car still unmolested by Beyer and Bolton Hall where I parked it.

Most will agree if you played it right and you can get the best girls based on your measures.

MY 4 nights expense used to be around $700-$800 using VIP and WED room discounts at Rizo every Month, 3-4 BG's, some booze and food expense, excluding flight. Now it is $900 to $1000. That difference is about $2500/ year. Total expense per year is 12 K. Tijuana is not cheap.

I'd thought Rizo stayed like $10 less than Cascadas? It is nice inside though. Easy to reserve online too.

Paying for a short stay room also becomes costly. So I'll probably stay at Rizo unless someone has any advice on cheaper hotels in the Zona with decent accommodations. I won't stay anywhere like Jalos. I need to have at least a TV, working climate controls & wifi.
Velario might suit you. I had a bit of a disagreement with them in September, so didn't stay, but rooms are good standard. You should be fine with it. No problem taking girls there and it's not as costly as Rizo.

Street girls were also wildly all over the place (I had one that quoted me $250 - gtfoh), quotes were about 200-400 MXN for BJ, and 400-600 MXN for GS, but I was able to score some pretty good deals. 1 hour sin ropa for 800 MXN.
As you'll know, mostly everything is what you can negotiate. I paid 90 for a cute spinner from the old Playboy club, which seems to have some gems. Very GFE too. Paulette. Street girls were telling me 600 for pussy in Dec. Tropical probably going to try hard to stay at $100.

I have read that some club girls are asking for $150+ now?.
    I'm sure they ask.
