At the one I go to here in Thailand, in the last 17 years I have never seen more than 10 people in the room. So I always buy the cheapest seats, then help myself to a sofa.

Has anyone been to any of the adult cinemas in Medellin? I want to check them out on the next trip out of curiosity but if it's just dudes whacking to porn there clearly is no need LOL.

My hotel was IDing all the chicas I brought, and their photos were taken. I felt pretty safe because of that though none of the girls I brought gave me a reason to doubt.

There is just no reason to take the risk of dealing with a gal who does not have a cedula. I spent a weekend in jail in Medellin, although not for anything related to chicas, and I promise you, you don't want to be in that situation. Zero upside. Plenty of gals have cedulas, so avoid the ones who don't.

It's safe enough if you take the usual precautions and read up on this forum. Probably most important: stay away from El Centro at night and don't 'show papaya', which means don't show anything that might be interesting to steal, like don't wear an (expensive) watch. And read up on how not to get drugged, plenty of useful tips here.

Contrasena is easier to fake, so OP was right advising to avoid them. But even if chica has fisical cedula you aren't guaranteed that it's real -there are a lot of fake cedulas in Medellin. It's cheaper and faster to get fake cedula than the real one. Over the years my front desk stopped more than 10 chicas with fake cedulas (verifying against police database).

You're comparing apples to oranges. It's one thing to register at a hotel with contrasena being a gringo, another to be a visitor with contrasena being colomniana. It was written on your contrasena "de Extranjeria", wasn't it? Just stop by or call hotels that you mentioned and ask if they allow colombian visitors with contrasena and tell us the result. I rest my case. Peace.

I stay had 4 star hotels when in Medellin. All demand the girls have cedulas.

Okay maybe I should have stated "most" won't but just because the one hotel you stayed at accepted it doesn't mean much. I stay at higher end hotels and seeing as I actually had a contrasea I can tell you that NONE of them would accept it. I had to use my passport.

That is actually not true based on my experience. Your statement is NO hotel will accept a cedula contrasea. Last time I stayed at an established hotel, they accepted a girl's contrasea twice during my stay. So the fact that they did means that your statement is false. Maybe it could be true that some hotels or most hotels will not accept it but I don't know.

You're probably right about banks, but most hotels (not 5 star) and doormen at edificios/Airbnb will accept contrasena or even a photo of the cedula on chica's phone. Confirmed by my experience and the experience of my friends. It's your responsibility to make sure she is over 18 to avoid huge problems.

None of the higher end hotels that I stay at would accept my contraseña,I had to use my passport. Doormen at Airbnb's,those clowns would accept a gum wrapper if you slip them a 50,LOL.
