Thanks for the info. You have definitely got me intrigued. I've always wanted to visit Paraguay, heard great things about Asuncion. Is the scene there similar to other Latin American countries? Are there casas, boates, CLnicas, depas, clubs, bars or chongos? How do you usually find them?

I have been to every Spanish speaking country in North, Central, and South America, as well as all over Spain, and the food in Paraguay is absolutely dreadful, the worst. The scene is mostly apartments, very few night clubs. And nowadays the internet, of course.

- Super nice people in general regardless of your nationally ty they treat you very well.

- Sex workers are younger, smaller and more fit then other Latin American countries.

- The cheapest prices for sex.

- The best and cheapest food in Latin America. Very high quality grilled meat is everywhere and it's very cheap. Nowadays their meat it's probably better and even more accessible than Agentina's.

I made three trips to Asuncion, including one fairly long one, I think 17 days. The main thing there was the apartment scene. Very well organized. Clean apartments, posted prices in ten minute increments (normally starting with 20 minutes), typically under one of those old timey clocks I had in school back in the 60's. The people are fine, it is hot as fuck (46.5 the first time I landed and it was not even summer, was in the 30's in the middle of winter), and the food is awful. But the beer is cold. Normally they bring you a 650 ML bottle (I think) in an ice bucket and then keep coming around with more ice. Quite a few people do not speak Spanish, especially working class folks.
