Posts: 11Tijuana Trip Report 2 Days.
Day 1 Crossed the border. Already had the immigration FMM filled out online, which was easy. Got in the Zona shuttle, tipped the guy 5 bucks, and checked into my room at Hotel Rizo de Oro. I like the more quiet rooms there.
Went straight over to HK and found a lady for $120. Everything was covered and she was good. After that, had dinner at Senda Norte, which is connected to the hotel. The food was great.
Later, got another lady for $100 from Tropical. HK was very busy because there was an event going on.
Day 2 Before checking out, I got another lady at HK for $110. She was okay.
I checked out and checked into the Hyatt. Saw one of my regulars and then went to sleep. Woke up and saw 2 more ladies together that I had seen before. Then I crossed back with my Global Entry card.
Verdict Tijuana is still active. HK was busy but worth it. Senda Norte is a solid spot for a meal if you are staying at Rizo. (This was my 20th trip or so).

Anyone know if Rio Suites is girl friendly (ie not stopping them requiring registration).
I am looking for a place with a proper separate 1 bedroom suite in the city center.

Hotel Ibiza maybe. Tough to get a room at weekends though.
Hotel Velario is by zona standards pretty pricey (still only half what Cascadas or Rizo ask for), but it's pretty nice and not far from the action.

It's safer and more fun to stay near the bars, Hong Kong, Adelitas, Chicago with street girls and foot traffic late in the night. East side of Coahuila toward Revolucion is dark deserted at night, armed robberies have been reported, also policias rough ups and extortion.
There is a row of low-cost hotels on East side of Constitucion, from Coahuila down all the way to Calle 1, range from $20-40 all night.
Walking down from the North, hotel Rapido has a large room in front looking toward Playboy club, nice, clean livable. A few hot street girls station in front.
Hotel Habana has girls lurching in the door way. A wingman has been staying here, taking multiple street girls for hot sessions day and night.
Hotel Michoacan has a dozen rooms, each with 2 queen beds, one for sleeping, the other for humping girls hehehe. Owner Martin is a nice guy. His tall, slim daughter looks so hot. She cleans rooms, does room services, brings you food and drinks if requested.
A few other hotels as you walk South. Hotel Irma is at the South end with a dozen spinners hanging out front, 100 pesos or $6ST, 500 P all night.
Across the street on the West side hotels Rio Nilo and Korea are horrible, filthy, smelly dumps with tiny run-down rooms, street girls station out front.

Posts: 451Check out HOTEL PLAZA DE ORO and Motel Diaz on on REVOLUCIÓand down the hill from the Arch. Both are just a few blocks from the actin and both are around $50 for a night. I've stayed at HOTEL PLAZA DE ORO many times. Simple low budget place but works.

Posts: 3352Definitely agree. People who don't do much outside of the ZN tend to grossly overestimate the economic impact of the ZN. There's lots of money in Tijuana these days, and a very small portion comes from the handful of strip clubs in the ZN. In the last few years several hotels have come online, many new condo buildings, as well as three major mall / shopping centers. These weren't built to cater to ZN patrons, nor were they built with money generated from the ZN.

Contrast that with what Google says the annual revenue generated by the TIJ airport. All by its lonesome it generates around 239 million dollars. I think that includes about 100 million generated by CBX. Combine that will all the fabricas, the farming, etc. , and the ZN is barely a blip.
I'm not saying it would happen anytime soon, but there are a lot of people in Tijuana who would be perfectly happy if the ZN didn't exist.

How can one person be completely clueless on so many things. ZN tourism has nothing to do with the rest of Tijuana tourism and I'd say it hurts more than it helps. Dental service is for everyone not just seniors.

Posts: 757To be honest I find Tijuana to be a Dull city, most areas are rundown places, there is not much natural attraction, the beach is less than average, even the food, the traditional and the usual Western standard one, is OK, but is not a reason to take a long trip for, specially now that it is getting more expensive. Hotels have un-invitingly been expensive for a decade or more when compared to other destinations.

Tijuana doesn't rely too much on tourism though. It's economy is mostly related to low tech manufacturing.

Posts: 120Never in my wildest dreams thought finding an escort in Tijuana would be that much of a challenge! So yeah all in all a little disappointed.
The young one (18 year old) one that left after 10 min was cute af though.
A pity that she did not suck with out a condom or let me fuck her tight body.
