Anyone has an experience with this type of parties? Swedish Gringo and couple of other channels on YouTube have some videos.

    Worth checking out

Confeitaria Colombo is a nice place to go to for a daytime date with a civilian. (Unfortunately, the lines to get in can be super long). The food itself is just average, nothing to write home about, but the interior is really nice, and it has a cool atmosphere for a relatively cheap date.

    Comida Por Quilo

I thought that I would add one more thing that may help new visitors to Rio when it comes to eating. The comida por quilo restaurants. These are buffets which charge you based on the weight of the plate of food you end up taking and they are dirt cheap. There was one just at the corner from my Airbnb in Copacabana and a few along the main commercial road a block inland from the beach. Also during one of the days I was in Centro after my prive session at Onix, I wanted to check out Confeitaria Colombo which is suppose to be one of the most beautiful cafes in the world. I got there at about 1:45 pm when I thought the lunch rush was over but there was still a huge lineup in the street just to get in. So I abandoned that visit and walked a block away to find a comida por quilo eatery where I had my late lunch and the cost was even cheaper than the one in Copacabana.

Don't expect the food at these to be Michelin star quality but it is okay by my dining standards and because the cost is dirt cheap, you will see a lot of locals there. The one bad thing about these comida por quilo places is that they operate only during the daytime hours so I wasn't able to find any for the dinner hours. I did find a comida por quilo when I was in Foz do Iguazu after my stay in Rio but didn't find any in the immediate area where I was staying in Sao Paulo but I'm sure they exist there too as this seems to be a popular concept in Brazil.

He may have said it, but he did not come up with it. The only time I have heard this saying, besides you writing it, was from my professor when I was in grad school in Brazil in 2003.

I'm also a Diver (PADI). Anyone else interested let me know, it might be a good thing to do. Thanks for the detailed reports, as you promised. Now you're a carioca do fake!

See the book, Pirate Divers by Kurson.

So if I want, there is local diving for me if I want to for a next trip to Rio as this water temp would be very similar to our summer diving in Canada. Now I'm not sure what they will be able to see in their waters to make it worthwhile or not.

As far as the beaches, I actually enjoyed being along the Ipanema beach first thing in the morning between 7 am and 8:30 am when the fitness and active locals were out but still lots of room on the beach and boardwalk. This seemed like a completely different crowd compared to the later hours of the day, especially on weekends when the beaches are way too crowded for my liking.

The beaches in Rio are urban spectacles. That means many tanned, fit Brasileiras in tiny bikinis.

This ia a very colorful and apt description of RJ. I hadn't thought of it exactly that way before, but it fits. It kind of reminds me of Anthony Bourdain's infamous description of SP as feeling like "LA throwing up on New York." KKK.

I am into tropical beaches and I have been to a lot of beautiful ones in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central & South America and SE Asia. One major item on my hit list is to set aside a month or two and drive up the Brazilian coast stopping wherever and whenever I feel like it.

Good post Exoticspirit. I am glad you had a good time. My favorite RJ Praia is that stretch of Barra the Tijuca Beach just after the Hyatt that is a nature preserve. It is very beautiful, but the water is cold and rough 9 months of the year. Guys who are expecting RJ to be some tropical beach resort town should probably go to Cartagena or Santa Marta.

    The Mongering Tour. Prives.

    Termas.

For my final full day in Rio which was a Wednesday, I decided to go to 4 x4 at about 3 pm after having lunch up in Santa Teresa. Reception said it was a 60 are entry but payment was done upon leaving. I got changed into a thin white robe and there were about 8 girls in bikinis in the main bar room plus a few other dudes in their robes.

I liked the setup at 4 x4 as it reminded me of the FKK clubs in Germany where I get to see all the girls at once instead of the one at a time presentations at the prives. However, this session was not as good as some of the sessions I had at the Rio prives but it was a small sample size. So I would still come back to 4 x4 if I decided to return to Rio especially if I came back with fellow mongers since th

Thanks for the comprehensive review. I do feel like your plan of action didn't allow you to best experience our hobby in Rio. First, the termas are generally way better than the prives. It would have been nice to check out Monte Carlo / Solarium / Centaurus and gone to back to 4 x4 another day / night. There is an ebb and a flow and cast can change a lot in short time. Only see 8 girls at 4x4 happens, but seeing 30-40 also happens.

As far as prives, weekdays are way better than weekends (if they're even open). Eden spa and the other place in the same building frequently have a very nice lineup during the week.

Anyway, it's good you were able to hit the main tourists spots which many mongers don't bother with.

All buildings have that setup. You do not have to sneak.

My First Trip & Impressions Of Rio De Janeiro

I finally did my first trip to Brazil starting in Rio followed by Sao Paulo with a short break in Iguazu Falls in between. I'll post a separate report on Sao Paulo.

    Flight & Arrival.

Air Canada has a direct flight from Toronto to Rio but only for the winter season so I took advantage of one of their final flights for their season. Unfortunately I got stuck in a middle seat for this ten hour flight so I'm not sure I even got any sleep at all. So upon arrival and getting through immigration which was actually a pretty smooth process, I took an Uber to my Airbnb in the Copacabana area just about two blocks inland from the beach's Posto 6. As predicted, the Uber did get stuck in Rio's infamous traffic but I arrived about 40 minutes later on a Friday.

My Airbnb was a perfect location as it was pretty well in between Copacabana and Ipanema with two grocery stores called Zona Sul and several reasonably priced restaurants within 1-2 blocks including three just downstairs outside the building where my unit was. The closest Metro station was in Ipanema only about 5-7 minutes walk away which turned out to be very useful as I used Uber only the one time upon arrival and utilized the Metro for the rest of my stay to get around. The immediate area was also very safe walking day and night.

I didn't care about whether my Airbnb was guest friendly or not since for my first Rio trip, I was going to just tour the prives and termas to just session on site rather than bring anyone back. This might have been just as well because my building used a system where the security staff always opened the main entrance doors rather than me so I wouldn't have been able to sneak any girls through. My unit itself was rather worn down and I killed roaches daily in the kitchen area so I wouldn't have been comfortable to bring anyone back to that unit anyway.

My original plan was to hit one of the prives in Copacabana but since I was too tired from my overnight flight I decided to postpone my mongering until the next day after getting a proper night's sleep. So I just stocked up on some groceries and planned my tourist sightseeing plans based on the local weather forecast.

    Tourist Attractions & Beach Life.

The two main tourist attractions being Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain are of course a must visit for any first time visitor to Rio and I was advised to visit them early in the morning to avoid the craziest tourist crowds. I decided to use my weekend mornings for these two attractions separately so I can visit each first thing in the morning.

To speed things up, I also bought tickets in advance for both online on my arrival day after I planned my weekend. For Christ the Redeemer, instead of taking its train to go up, I decided on a faster way since the train didn't look all that interesting to me and I wanted to get up to the statue as fast as I can to get the lowest weekend crowds. So I used the official vans instead and met them at Praca do Lido which was at the other end of Copacabana right on the main beach road. I booked my van for the 8 am pickup and walked a pleasant 30 minutes from my Airbnb along the beach to the van first thing in the morning. The official van took me to the visitor centre for Christ the Redeemer and from there I had to take another van up to get to the statue which was fairly crowded already by the time I got there. But I did my tourist thing and was ready to take the vans back down. The official van took my back to Copacabana where I was not far from the prives there. More on this later.

For Sunday morning I took the Metro to Botafogo and walked 30 minutes to Sugarloaf Mountain which was the other main big tourist attraction. I also had advance ticket for the cable car at 9 am. Beautiful views as impressive as the ones at Christ the Redeemer but from another perspective and like the first attraction on Saturday, I was already done by mid morning.

By the time I got back to Ipanema by Metro, it was already getting a bit too hot for me outside so I explored the Sunday market just outside of the Metro station for a bit then retreated back to my Airbnb. Rio's prives and termas do not open on Sundays so it would be a mongering rest day.

Rio's main thing to my observation is the beach life and weekends especially were super crowded at both Copacabana and Ipanema as they were jammed pack with locals like sardines although the smaller beaches near Sugarloaf Mountain were certainly much less crowded. I saw most of the local women here wear the legendary string bikinis I call 'butt floss' which does show that their culture is indeed quite different from the rest of the world. Unfortunately it was not just the hot women who wear these as local women of all sizes and ages on the beach seem to wear these. I can see that the locals live for the beach here.

For me, I'm not a beach person and much of the daytime is just to hot for me anyway. The ocean in contrast is pretty darn cold here so although there were surfers and some swimmers, this was not really an area for too much swimming out in the ocean. I did find the beach gym affectionately known as 'Flintstones Gym' since the weights were made of stone and I did end up working out here a few times during my stay early in the morning. For the Sunday I did plan to see the sunset near here at the far end of Ipanema close to where it joins Copacabana but it was so crowded that I ended up leaving.

For the next few weekdays, I took the Metro right after rush hour into Centro to check out other tourist attractions including Selaron Steps, Portuguese Reading Room, the big conical cathedral, Lapa Arches and took the tram up to Santa Teresa and had one of the best coffees I've ever had. All of these sights were fast and could be walked to from the Metro.

Personally I think all of the above tourist attractions were worth visiting but maybe only just once but they can all be quickly covered. For the attactions in centro, I planned it so I did the touristy things first in the morning and then hit the prives when they opened up midday.

    The Mongering Tour. Prives.

Okay so this is probably the main feedback you all were waiting for so I'll get to it. My first hit since I missed it on my Friday arrival day, was in Copacabana right after I got back from Christ the Redeemer. I was to check out Eden Spa first but as soon as I got to the office building where it was located, an tout who spoke English intercepted me and took my up. But instead of taking me to Eden Spa at #401, he ended up taking me to Eden Spa's sister location one floor below at #302. There, a very friendly young lady receptionist brought me into a room for the presentation of the available girls. I was there around 1 pm on the Saturday and only two girls come through one at a time and kissed me on both cheeks while introducing themselves. To my surprise, both were quite doable for me and I chose one of them for 30 minutes at 190 are. I don't know if this was an inflated rate or not due to the tout bringing me in.

At age 65, I'm a one shot per day guy so I wasn't going to go back out to check out the termas even on the Saturday night since I got my shot at this prive in Copa which was called Massage 583 - if you get on Eden Spa's website, you'll see the info for both Eden and this sister location on the same webpage.

The next mongering session for me since it was just tourist stuff on the Sunday, would be in centro after I visit the tourist sights in centro. From the conical cathedral, it was just a short walk to the office building where Bel Prazer is located. I took the elevator to the top floor and walked up one more to their floor. Prives in Rio are all located in office buildings. After getting buzzed into Bel Prazer, I waited in a room for the girls presentation. There was about five girls on Monday at about noon and they were all way too huge for my liking so I passed on Bel Prazer.

Next stop was Dudas up the street in another office building. This building was a bit of a pain in the ass to access because their elevator banks had security turnstiles and I had to register at the security desk with my ID. I was sort of prepared for this in advance so I brought an old expired driver license which did the job. I had to tell them the office number I was visiting which was Dudas. When I got up to Dudas, they had about four girls and one of them was doable. But when asked for rates, the receptionist quoted me 300 are for 20 minutes and 600 are for 40 minutes. Now I don't know if I was being quoted a tourist rate (since I'm Asian) but these rates seemed way out of line for a Rio prive so I passed.

There was another prive in the same building called Onix (and sometimes Julia) ten floors down so I took the stairs down. After getting buzzed into Onix, I got a presentation of about seven girls and two were doable. They quoted 150 are for 30 minutes and 180 are for an hour in a small room and 210 are for an hour in a bigger room. The smaller room was fine but like at the Copa prive, showers were not ensuite in these rooms. I ended up sessioning with one of the girls I liked here at Onix.

I took the elevator back down to the lobby floor and couldn't get past the turnstile. I guess this was a different elevator bank which I wasn't officially registered for which was really stupid so I just decided to go under the turnstile to get out. So again, this office building was a real pain in my opinion but at least I got in my second mongering session, again during daytime hours.

For my next session, I found myself back in Copa so wanted to check out the two other prives there that I didn't hit yet so I went to Delioriental first. This was on the Tuesday about midday and only three girls were available, two huge and one slim one but not with facial features I liked. So passed on them. Next stop was to finally make it to Eden Spa and this time no tout was on the street so I went directly up. After getting buzzed into Eden, I was met by a young black guy who was the receptionist and the presentation of about seven girls was not bad. There were 2-3 girls I liked and ended up choosing one and the rate I was quoted was 190 are for 30 minutes. So looks like I didn't get any inflated rate at their sister location when the tout brought me up the other day as it was the same 190 are rate.

    Termas.

I will mention that when I was still in the planning stages for my first trip to Rio, I was originally going to visit all four main termas. Solarium, Centaurus, 4 X4 and Monte Carlo. Then later on I thought maybe I'll do half prives and half termas especially since Centaurus was only five minutes from my Airbnb and Monte Carlo would be a good backup plan if the Copa prives didn't produce for me. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought these termas would essentially get me similar sessions with girls of similar quality but at significantly inflated rates.

Most of the girls at that time were on the large side for me but one tiny spinner hit me up and convinced me to take her as she said she was the only slim one there that afternoon. She suggested at least an hour with her which I accepted and she showed me the posted rate of 500 are in a simple room. There were many other rates for different durations and types of rooms but I took this 500 are one.

I liked the setup at 4 x4 as it reminded me of the FKK clubs in Germany where I get to see all the girls at once instead of the one at a time presentations at the prives. However, this session was not as good as some of the sessions I had at the Rio prives but it was a small sample size. So I would still come back to 4 x4 if I decided to return to Rio especially if I came back with fellow mongers since these termas setups would be much better for hanging out compared to the prives which really have no space for this.

Since I sessioned at 4 x4 before 6 pm, the 60 are entry fee was waived so I just had to pay for my drinks for me and the girl on top of the session fee. By the time I left 4 x4, it was about 6:30 pm but still lots of locals milling about in centro and still daylight so I decided to take the Metro back instead of Uber and it was fine.

As for the freelancer scene at Mabs and Dolte Vita, I didn't bother since my accommodations was a no go for guests.

    Departure Day.

On my departure day, I had just enough time in the morning to get in one last workout early in the morning at the Flintstones gym. I also did a longer morning walk all along Ipanema beach out to Leblon and back and it was quite pleasant early in the morning with the fitness and active crowd out doing various activities including some sort of volleyball that allowed using body and legs, beach pickleball, yoga, surfing, jogging, biking and even a spin bike class on the beach. I enjoyed these mornings out on the beach more than the party crowd that came later during the daytime hours.

To get to the airport, I had different options. Too bad Rio doesn't have a direct train or Metro to the airport but I decided to try another cheap way rather than taking the Uber. I took the Metro to a station that starts with Vincente and there was a BRT bus station with bus service to the airport. For the 5 are Metro plus 10 are BRT bus fare, this would be an unbeatable rate to the airport. But the BRT station was not well marked and only after asking transit staff did I find the right bus gate. And this BRT bus was jammed with local for a ride that took quite some time to get to the airport. By the time I arrived to the airport, I decided never to use this route again despite the dirt cheap fares.

    Overall Impressions Of Rio.

So for my overall impressions of Rio, I enjoyed my first trip there. To me, the big things in Rio are the beautiful nature scenery which is breathtaking and the beach culture. The tourist attractions are a must do for any first time visitor but worth doing only once in my opinion. For me, I'm not a beach person so I wouldn't return to Rio for that and if I did, I would opt for accommodations that had a beach view balcony so at least I'll have nice scenery to look at during my down time.

The city of Rio itself is a bit dirty in my view but the safety-danger issue is way overblown in my opinion. I never went to Centro on weekends nor after sundown. And at night, I pretty well walked around a few blocks radius of my location in between Copa and Ipanema and was fine. I never felt it was too sketchy where I was. Only when it was crowded like in Centro during the daytime and at the beach when it was prime hours with locals, I just kept my phone in my pocket with my hand inside it during the walks to reduce chances of pickpocketing and I was fine.

If I ever do return to Rio again, it would only be for the mongering since I already did the tourist attractions I wanted to visit. So I would have to decide whether I would get bored during my down time in between sessions and again for me, I'm a one session per day guy so there would be lots of down time. I would also have to compare the mongering scene here with Sao Paulo too which I'll report on in a separate post.

For my mongering, I'll travel to Asia once per year for a month and to Latin America. After two trips to Colombia and a past trips to Cuba, Tijuana, San Jose Costa Rica, Ste Maarten, El Salvador and Dominican Republic, I'll have some deciding to do on how Brazil stacks up with these other Latin American destinations. I know that many guys claim Brazilian girls are the best but for me, it's not all a clear win for the Brazilians yet. There were a few girls from my Brazil trip (in both Rio and SP) I would explore repeating with and spending extended time with but I would have to get a comfortable guest friendly place first and improve my Portuguese too. I'm further ahead on my Spanish due to multiple trips to Colombia and other Spanish speaking mongering destinations.

With my initial comparisons of girls between Brazil and Colombia, I'll say that facially the Colombians are more glamorous and in higher numbers. Brazilians are more natural looking and with much less plastic surgery too. I think the Brazilians might be more GFE too but as for their lovemaking reputation, it might not be a huge factor for me since this in my mind translates to PSE which I'm not into. Girls who are more aggressive and wild in bed actually don't do it for me as I prefer just GFE which the girls in Rio for the most part, did provide.

With Brazilian girls which are suppose to be the most sexual than any others in the world, I wanted to try nuru massage in Brazil since I loved this in Asia. I didn't get the chance to try nuru here in Rio but did in Sao Paulo.

It's too early for me to declare any clear winners. Scenes also change when Colombia became a bit risky with the odd girls drugging guys and lost of some mongering friendly venues in Medellin as well as rates. As a mongering destination, Rio is definitely superior to Toronto as far as both rates as well as the ability to see and meet the girls in person before committing to any session which is sadly not possible in Toronto nor Montreal.

In any case, I hope this review was helpful especially for first time visitors to Rio. I had asked many questions about Rio in the past and said I would deliver my contribution after my trip. I hope I delivered with some useful points and feedback on Rio here.

I did visit Sao Paulo too since I wanted to not only do a direct comparison with Rio but there's a regular direct return flight for me back to Toronto. I also spent three days in Foz Do Iguazu just to do the falls there and did not bother with any mongering there as I used it as a short break in between. I'll get my SP report out very soon.

Good report, and it is well written, but regarding Barra.

Prisma terapias has a Barra address, and with the metro, you are in easy access to all the other areas. Even to the end of the metro line is just an hour. The safety in Barra is worth it.

Copa sucks. For any long term resident of Rio.

    The Week

The Week in Baseball. Creampied Kira Noir, Anne Amari Pernoite, prive regular, non pro Elsa jean.

Vagabundo writes on Thursday, having done 100 minutes of muay thai, and having fucked Kira Noir for 25 minutes with a creampie at Motel Eden in Tijuca at 11 h. I had not seen her for a year. She had a kid, which she said she did in a call so she was not lying, sadly, as she is a nice girl and the father is not in the picture, aside from the sagging tits, and see-section scar. And she smokes. The curious can hit me up by PM and I will for the price of a iced coffee in person send along her deets. She is still fuckable. I mean, she is 21-ish. I told her I would try to get her a job in informatica, as one of her plusses is that she is always on zap. I have the connections with diplomats, corporate types, university professors to hook her up. There is a higher GINI index of wealth inequality in Brazil than in any country than the US. Cost per fuck per minute was thus like 300 r for her, 220 r for 4 hours in the hidro suite in Eden, near her prive (hint), for like 520 r /25. I made her cum in missionary with my solid USB Vibe which JimmyBoy brought in for me almost 2 years ago. Glad to send out my Amazon history for the curious.

I fucked a regular in the prive for 250 r /40 for a CPFPM of 6 ish. She was pissed I was talking to other girls in the same prive. She is a solid fuck regularly.

Anne Amari came over pernoite for 300 r. We only fuck for like 5 minutes at night and in the morning, but she stays over, and I respect her. She is not a prostitute, as she now has a legit job at a glasses place. So, I helped get her out of that line of work, and I actually admire her, she is my hero. She has character. She still might die of violence, disease, poverty. She has said she wants to have a family, and actually, that might be a good option, though not on the regular George Shultz advice of marrying rich. She is of course black, and racism is worse in Brazil than anywhere, but I am combative and I guess I like a challenge. Landing a rich chick is a level of difficulty especially in Brazil. I am such an asshole, I was going to give Anne Amari a burner laptop that I had reformatted, but she demanded her usual 300 r plus uber. It is always uber, isn't it? Jesus fucking christ, I so hate that these girls have become entitled to uber. That has fucking blown up my time management to the detriment of my rich world business so fucking much, not to mention the fact that all these poor world non English speaking (notice a pattern? Rich world is English speaking, poor world is non English speaking. For the most part, the exceptions being the BRICS people who learn English, and they are being bred to be rich).

But there are actual non pro beautiful women who want what Lieutenant Commander Vagabundo, SWISS NAVY (ret) has to offer, so stay tuned sports fans. I laid out what I have to offer to a college girl that I hooked up with when she was here, then flew her out for a few weeks with her girlfriend who is into group sex in January, and now she is talking about coming out to Rio to wife me up or at least live on the beach with me. So, that doesn't suck. You assholes will miss me, right?

From my current experience, if I go back to Rio someday, I would probably choose to stay in Centro. The place is dead empty at night, but in the daytime it's where things are happening for the pay-to-play.
Very nice report and you write better than most of English people.
