Posts: 3293Good simple explanation, but it's much more complex than that.

The video ignores the major impact the existing river system had on how the city grew. Apart from the major rivers (Pasig and Marikina), numerous tributaries ran through the area, all of which flooded periodically, which determined where people lived and where roads formed.

Pegasus and Air Force.
Will check for others on Google.
Thanks once again.

Unfortunately after Covid most of the other joints wound down.
And there's a few night clubs, like Royal and all, though I prefer guaranteed take outs that a chance.
Locals have a lot of drinking spots, which don't' fancy outsiders.
And most of the girls now do online Tinder or facebook and 90% realised, it's easier to get money and disappear.

Thanks anyway. G.

Posts: 4889Not my scene but I'm not aware of any 5 Star hotels with onsite freelancer bars.

Enjoy. G.

Posts: 744LA cafe is not considered a casa or any of its subsidiaries (at least in my book). LA cafe is a resto bar that happens to be a gathering place for freelancers. A true casa is a girls boarding house, and then there are many other variations of that. Pretty sure I wrote about it before somewhere.

Posts: 744Probably did write about it multiple times before (been on here over 20 years), would be in the QC thread. If you are FOB it might not be the best idea unless you are going with someone who knows the area, the establishment itself is very safe, but the area if unfamiliar might not be the best place for a FOB to be roaming around in. I would suggest you grab in and grab out and start with Pegasus. The name of the fishbowl is not Pegasus, but since they use a lot of the same girls and it is at the same place it sticks in my head as Pegasus. Just like AirForce one the place was fleet 168 or something like that, but I always refer to it as airforce one because it was connecting and I could select from some of the airforce one girls. If you would like to find the other places I would suggest a simple Google search, I just did there still is quite a bit of them, Kremlin was at the top of the list search, but there are a few others. If they operate in the same manor as they did way back when, or the names are the same, I don't know as I haven't visited these clubs in decades. Other than a quick trip to Pegasus a year or so ago, I don't have any current knowledge on what is there. I am pretty positive everything is status quo, but I don't have current first hand knowledge, I would suggest using the google search bar. I don't have any future plans on bowl hopping as I did when I was younger (those were great times) as I am old now, pretty much one and done now a days. I would suggest trying out pegasus (only because I have been there last year) if you need more, you can just run a train in there.

Posts: 43When you say the old casas, were these similar to what LA Cafe is now? Or were they somehow different?

Posts: 744In my walk around I found 2 casas, but nothing to write about. The selection is weak, very weak, and its not meant to sit, chat, drink and select girls. If you want a beer its warm, no ice and really you don't want to be there, the closest thing to the old casas is that bar where the old Amazonia use to be but then again the selection is kind of weak there too, in fact if you are in the area its just easier to go to la cafe anyway. On a good note, I was back in my online world, and decided to listen to some of my own advise about bringing in an expert to take care of the job right. I wanted a good massage so I called in a professional, I wanted a good nut (and I am lazy) so I called in a BJ expert right after (BBBJ, DT, CIM, swallow, and then some fckn hoover). In retrospect I should have reversed the order, but I'm not complaining. Planning on Rollin in a model tonight, yeah I know its not going to be a good roll, but hell its been a while since I sampled the top shelf.

Is there a scene in Manila that is similar to the pick up scene like Mulia / CJ's in Jakarta? Unless I have my search terminolgy wrong, there doesn't seem to be much action. Any intel on this?

Posts: 744I am sure I could have gotten the price down a bit if I wanted to, but the extra 10 bucks really wasn't going to kill me. But the best bang for your buck still is the fishbowls in QC as the quality is pretty good, there a few places near each other and the service is pretty standard, not to mention it is safe.
