That's a lot of questions, here are some answers.

Police won't ask for your ID if you don't find yourself in trouble (won't happen if you respect other peoples around).

You can bring your USD or equivalent currency and change it directly here, many money changing boots all around the place (bring only the bills that are in very good condition).

The beach is kind of dirty, with lots of boats and jetsky in the vicinity, and dirty stuff on the sand. You can still have a good walk on the sand early in the morning, or on the paveway during the day though.

Beach resorts are not far from the night life.

Bolt and Grab are the equivalent of Uber, are cheaper and work better than Uber (try installing them before arriving).

Weed shops are all over the place.

Don't forget writing proper reports after your trip.

In my opinion, taking a girl out of the bar to do short time is not cost effective. Personally, if I am going to bar fine a girl on Soi 6 it is going to be for long time. I have had really good success with that.

Full Disclaimer: I've never actually done a short time in a Soi 6 Bar. Unless you want to count getting my dick sucked as a short time encounter.

What is the quality of the beach? Nice blue water with no rocks and easy waves? I spent many winters in Waikiki so I'm used to nice beaches.

Are the beach resorts too far from the night life? Would I be isolating myself too much.

Would such resorts have any problem with bringing girls ro room?

Getting around. Is there UBER or the equivalent? Let's say I go to a gentlemens club that's out of the way and take a taxi or auber getting there. Now I leave like 2 am. Will int the hard to find a taxi or UBER if it's not at a busy street. Is getting stranded a legit concern.

Weed. I like to do edibles when I'm mongering. Are there legal weed shops where to buy or is it underground and I have to take risk to acquire?

The problem is that a lot of girls don't want to leave the bar, even for Short Time, because they might miss a Korean whale who will buy them 40 drinks.

Yes, this is true. You can pay ST for the girl and the bar charges a smaller bar fine (around 400-500 THB) for the room upstairs. It's a good way to see if you vibe with her before committing to a longer duration.

Tell me you're too lazy to read the forum traffic without telling me.

The standard session on Soi 6 takes place in a room on the upper level of the bar. There is no "bar fine" in the conventional sense. But the bar charges a small fee for using the room, typically about 500 baht.

Been a lurker for a super super long time but have never posted mainly because I've not been able to register to site until less than a week ago. Been to Thailand around 5 to 6 times now and longest has been maybe a month at most. I tend to like quieter places for mongering but the last time I went (January this year) I went to Pattaya for the first time and oh boy it was a doozy. I stayed at ViewTalay (next to that super huge mall) for a week and had a pretty good time there. Had some really good nights but it was a bit too in your face for my tastes long term.

I always arrive before 0300 to take advantage of bottle specials. You also get a better selection of where to post up in the club. They will store your bottle for you if you don't finish it. The Cmdr doesn't buy drinks. When The Cmdr goes out he only buys bottles.

Cannot tell you about the freelancers cause I always bring sand to the beach and my table is full of girls from Soi 6 who join me and my girl for the after party when the bars close.
