I agree that Monterrey has lots more girls that are slim, light skin, pretty, cosmopolitan, attractive, compared to Guadalajara with a lot more girls who are thicker, bigger, darker, less pretty.

I was at GDL's independent day parade last year with tens thousands people partying on the streets, could not even find 1 or 2 nearing the international models' looks in the crowd. To be fair, girls and women riding horses and carriages in the parade seemed to be the upper class, the majority were beautiful. Hong Kong does have a few prettiest girls from GDL, however. In comparison, the streets of of Buenos Aires have lots of tall, slim, healthy, beautiful women and girls, not to mention they are very nice, warm, fun, easy to engage.

So what venues, when, where, how, how much to access the prettiest girls in Monterrey for a few-days vacation?

Can anyone compare GDL to CMDX and MTY in terms of mongering? Which one would you most highly recommend to an American guy moving to MX?

MTY is industrial, GDL is cultural, CMDX is cosmopolitan. My favorite is MTY, girls are slim, young, GFE. GDL is second best, curvy, plus sized girls, bit more expensive than MTY. CMDX is quite expensive, but quality and variety are diverse. I found MTY to offer the best value for money, it's also the closest major city to where I live in the US. , making it both convenient and affordable.

FYI the new uber pickup zone is now in use, we'll see if it lasts after the world cup ends. The taxi services have raised their prices 50% (at least the rate to my house is up that much). To get to the uber pickup location, exit the terminal from intl arrivals, turn left towards the parking lot where shuttles for rental cars and off site parking lots pick up. There will be a green bus announcing "plataformas" which is free to take to the uber pickup.

The taxi rate to my house is usually 515 p, they jacked it up to 780 p, I paid 411 p for the uber. The taxistas were all waiting around with the their thumbs up their asses, as you can expect.

There are widespread reports of scams, extortion attempts, etc. Based on searches for your personal data based on your phone number. A guy a know personally experienced this recently when his # was used to find his real name, place of work, social media accounts, etc. , in an extortion attempt. He got outed to his friends / family but obviously did not pay any ransom money since all the scammers would do is come back and demand more money.

Reports on catadorgdl indicate that this is common. . . Scams, threats of violence, extortion. . . So do not ever use your real phone number! Buy a telcel chip at oxxo (the chip with a little data is like 100 p) and use that as a burner # for your whatsapp or telegram. You can use whatsapp business as a way to run 2 whatsapp accts on one phone. Pop the chip in so you get the confirmation SMS from whatsapp to complete the registration, then dump the chip and go back to your real one if you want.

Question for anyone. I always take cash with me instead of using a ATM just because I don't want to be in a situation that my card won't work and I'm stuck with no cash and only a credit card.

Do most of you take cash or just withdraw from the ATM as you need it or a combination of both?

I know another poster had made posts about a year or so ago about having issues with getting cash at an ATM so just wanted to know if anyone else had issues.

I use both. I have pesos saved up, so I will take around 9000 pesos and I will add more pesos as needed through my Charles Schwab card as needed. ATM's were never an issue.

Just wanted a safety update and projection after all of the gang violence earlier in Feb. Hoping to hear from someone in GDL long term -- on the ground.

It's been quiet. . . Back to normal. The narcos pretty much just threw a fit that Sunday morning for about 2 hours and then that was it. I even went out and rode my bike around the whole city that day. There will be a TON of extra security out during the world cup so I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm not "on the ground" but I know people that live in the city and I look at the local news online daily. The violence that happened in the city was very over sensationalized by the media. Also since that time the Mexican government especially in those cities that will be hosting WC matches has had a priority on safety and as the time comes closer you will see a higher and higher level of security. I've been very drunk late at night walking all over the city and never had any issues especially if your going to be I. The tourists or better areas. The biggest issue you will have is paying the high prices for hotels and how crowded everything will be for those matches.

I was planning on going but it didn't seem worth it for the prices and how crowded it will be. It will be a fun atmosphere but I can experience a similar atmosphere much closer to home for a lot less.

So if you have the money definitely go, just after the violence they had a baseball tournament in the city with no issues and they just had pre WC games played and nothing bad happened.

I'm interested in heading to GDL. I'm not a agency type. I like massage spots or the strip clubs. I don't see anything on the map resembling an estetica or happy ending type massage place. I recommend trying one or two of the shadiest looking massage places you can find down there and if she asks at the end if you need anything else, that's your cue to ask for estimulacion.

Just got back from GDL. Only went out one night. Men's has remodeled and is a little bigger but the talent was poor.

I was very drunk when I was in Cesar's so don't remember much.

I did hear from the taxi driver of a new strip club. Club Vicious. Maybe the GDL resident has visited.

Tried a girl from Lizeths named Paige who was terrible so overall a waste of a trip and I think I need to drink less and visit a new place.
