I have a nice roster of girls, they treat me amazingly well, and are now referring friends, primas, hermanas and others to me, all of which is great, but they know that I consider them friends and will not hesitate to ask for money when things get tough, and they are SUPER tough right now. I've helped here and there, but I think I'm just telling all of them this trip that I won't be sending any more Zelles to anyone.

But I agree also that the value there is ridiculous. Just today I had a 53 year old lady on Facebook tell me that both of her daughters are available and willing to spend the night with me. One's 18, the other 24. Jesucristo, what a situation when the mom is selling her daughters to get money.

Honestly even with the situation in Cuba right now Cuba is still prime real estate. If I could own a spot fully off grid in Cuba somewhere in the country with my own solar setup and easy access to the airport to bring in my own provisions every couple weeks, I wouldn't mind living there as a bug out location LOL. Speaking of which I think I might check out Holguin next time around. I hear the streets are much cleaner and the chicas muy bonita!

Another option is to get one of the LifeStraw filtered water bottles. They come with 2-3 of their filters, plus a carbon pre-filter that gets rid of anything that makes the water taste bad.

All in all those eliminate something like 99.99999% of all parasites, protozoa, bacteria, etc. Small enough risk to take. I had one years ago, got it off Amazon for $40 USD or something.

For frequent travel to locations with sketchy water, it'd be worth it.

I have zero experience with Havana prior to 2023, so I cannot compare 2026 to any year prior to 2023, but for me at least on all 4 visits this year: Feb, Mar, Apr and May, it's exactly the same as it ever was the last couple of years.

Now, I have the benefit of having built up a large group of chicas, so I'm not out hunting in the streets or in the bars / clubs, etc. , and that group has been very kind in terms of referring new chicas to me all the time via their friends, primas, hermanas, etc. So it's been fine, but in the streets I still see quality chicas.

Definitely not as many people in the streets, but still a lot are out.

The upside to low tourism: the ones who are out are OUT and ready to play, 100%. I've been approached by so many that it's honestly hard to keep up with the number of chicas who want to get some money for fun in the cama.

In both April and May, in the block around where I usually stay I had at least 2-3-5 girls approach me every single day, including moms in their 40's-50's. These are desperate times and these moms will suck your dick for $5 USD, it's wild.

So, if you're interested in chicas to pound or suck your dick, there are lots of options, truly lots and lots. Are they all 10's? I have no idea what that means because as I mentioned in one of my posts from May, a guy I met showed me his list of all 9's and 10's, pics / instagram profiles, etc. And I was like, "man, those girls are. Like 6's or 7's to me, at best!" So best approach would be to just book it and go and see.

My taxi guy still charges $40 USD to and from the airport, he still has gasoline, the place I'm renting, which NEVER had outages before, has had them, almost daily for between 2 and 12 hours, depending on the fragility of the grid. But at least they have an Ecoflow solar powered generator to power lights, fans and the fridge, so I'll have decent sleeping conditions and cold beers and a long list of chicas who are DESPERATE for money and wanting to get railed to get it.

I appreciate the report but nothing there says anything about the chica situation. Considering this is a sex forum, I'the appreciate it more if you can tell us if the quality / quantity of them have went down or up. I loved Cuba but over the years it has went downhill in terms of both.

Took a break from the forum, but not from Cuba. Just got back from my 12th trip of the year and 26th overall since January 2025. Cuba is probably the worst I've ever seen it. The blackouts are crazy and Havana Vieja is not exempt. Anything that's running / open at night likely has a generator.

Having said that, the fundamentals haven't changed. Most clubs are still open and the chicas are still outside looking for opportunities. However, if you were worried about the comforts of Cuba before, let's just say now isn't the time to go. If you never cared about the comfort and are willing to be even more uncomfortable then yeah it'll still work for you. You're going to need to be picky with your restaurants because keeping food frozen / fresh is becoming very difficult and you don't want to get sick.

Other than that, it's more or less the same Havana; but that summer heat with no electricity? Oh my goodness it's true hell. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Thinking of heading back again this weekend but haven't decided yet. If not, I'll go the weekend after.

Thanks for the report. The water is probably what you thought. That's no new trick in Cuba. I suggest shopping at local tiendas / particulares / MIPYMES, where 99% of ciustomers are Cubans who live in the neighborhood Easier to do in Vedado / Miramarar / Playa. Much harder in Old Havana.

Holguin is great and I confirm the ladies there are gorgeous!

That being said electricity at night is non-existent and intermittent during the day in Havana Vieja- which is going to be the best you're going to get and will likely get worse before it gets better. I highly suggest bringing your rechargeables (like 3 fans, small power bank, emergency lights, etc) because they will save your life. I brought many items for all my chica friends and kids in the streets. I usually buy a bunch of the large bottles of water but from the smell and taste I am starting to suspect that these bottles might be getting refilled and purified with chlorine or something and resealed. I wouldn't put it past these enterprising Cubans. I think they are all in on it too because only the tourists buying those big waters. My next trip I may just stick to coconut water and sodas / juices. Other than that I travelled on my Jamaican passport and had no issues with the novelacuba visa or getting through immigration on both sides. Taxi to and from airport only $40.

I say if it's within your budget for these hardest times in Cuba, stay at a nice privately owed boutique hotel. There are quite a few nice ones with reasonable prices for the quality and service (and amazing generators), especially in Vedado. And get a cheap room / apartment, privately or via Airbnb, that you use for other activities.

It; ls better for many reasons, but I never would have done that until these times when you can't count on anything.

Agreed BTW that we never went for the comforts, and I remember what is was like there in the special period when AC was not only rare but actually illegal. So, you can sweat it out. Bigger concern is the appearance of vipers and Ospreys off the shores of Cuba!

This is indeed true - but there's some nuance. Cuba doesn't care but American Airlines essentially wants you to buy the Visa from them so that they can pocket your $100. They let me through with my NovelaCuba visa but essentially said I need to buy it from them going forward when I went last week. I have the paid version of Adobe Pro on my phone so I'm just going to edit the FRA and switch it to USA for American Airlines staff and then use the original when in Cuba.

Hi, can anyone confirm novelacuba purchased evisas are not being accepted at American airports for flights departing to Cuba?

Various sources are stating only USA purchased evisas are now being accepted for American travelers going to Cuba. The QR code on the evisa has a country indicated below it, and apparently all novelacuba evisas have FRA indicating France. This change only affects American travelers originating flights to Cuba through USA airports. Americans arriving into Cuba through Panama, Mexico, etc can apparently still use non-USA purchased evisas. Non-American travelers are not affected by this change.

We all expected this loophole through novelacuba to be closed at some point. Are we back to $85 visas? $50 if you snail mail a check to the Cuban embassy in Washington DC?
