What is considered a correct budget for a night at the scandalo?

What do you guys do for cash? Do you carry with you from home country or get it in SP directly. Guess easier for people who don't have to hide things, they can simply use credit card with whatever 1-2% markup is applied. Some people had mixed reports for ATM at CGH, I couldn't find any. Would love to know if anyone had a success. Home country currency notes conversion in India was 33% markup so didn't carry cash. I didn't want to put things on CC to hide from my wife, but with so much hassle in cash conversion I decided fuck it. Ended up using my credit card for everything including at scandallo and now just crossing my fingers that it's not get caught LOL.

Are there any better options for future?

I always get most of my foreign cash ordered right at my home bank. For any currencies they don't have, a commercial foreign exchange business also back at my home region will usually have it available.

If yo need to send money use Wallbit app, no cash no risk for you and the girl. It's pretty straightforward. Just go to Send Money, pick Brazil, choose third-party account, enter the person's bank or Pix info, type in the amount, and hit send. Wallbit converts your USD to BRL and sends it through the Brazilian banking system.

The person receiving the money doesn't need a Wallbit account. As long as they have a Brazilian bank account that supports Pix which is basically all of them, they'll receive the money just like any other Pix transfer. So for all practical purposes, it's the same as sending a Pix payment, you just don't need to have a Brazilian bank account yourself.

I found what I was looking for in the bounce.com web site and app. The price is about R20/ day for a roll aboard and a small bag or backpack. The catch is most places are only open until 6 PM or so. I think there are locations with later hours but they aren't as conveniently located. It seems like a good option for early arrivals or if you want to get in a clinica or prive run before you catch a late flight.

I have used bounce in the past. There is hotel close to CGH that offers luggage storage service via bounce. If I remember right they are open until 11 pm.

Walking distance from CGH (less than a mile) if you don't have big heavy luggage.

My honest opinion is that MP is not necessary in SP given the variety of options available. I did MP during my Feb trip and most recently in June and I decided not to renew. Fake profiles are few and I did not run into any. I just got tired of all the work involved when I could go to Scandello / GG / Casarao for whatever mood I was in. Setting up the date with the girls, and then they cancel. I have to pivot at the last minute. Just too much work. Plus, the girls also aren't as good at sex so it is a hit or miss.

Now I know some who will advocate for MP and that is cool. I just don't see the need for it.

Does anyone know of a service in Sao Paulo that holds luggage for a fee? I'm interested in using it those time when I have a late night departure or early morning arrival and my airbnb is either not yet ready or I have to give it up hours before I leave. I know Scandallo does it but of course it's less expensive to rent an Airbnb for a couple of nights unless you are already committed to the Scandallo forumla. Thanks in advance.

We visited Gaugain (GG) on a Monday night and it was a flop and I doubt I will visit next time unless everyone in the group chooses to go.
