Does this just happen to me? Does this just happen at BCA ATMS? Twice in three weeks, BCA atms have failed to deliver 2,500,000, while in Jakarta. But they still send out the receipt, with the debit, throwing you into a panic.

I called SCHWABB immediately. I also called BCA phone number that is on the ATM. I took picture of ATM ID # as well. In Jakarta, near Novatel, jalan hayam wuruk, they sent a technician (BCA) to the ATM.

Both cases, the debits, in my schwabb account self-corrected, within a few days, while in Jakarta.

However, the same thing happened in Bali to me. This time BCA was rude and uncooperative. They told me, "We cannot help you with a foreign ATM card."

What a bunch of bullshit!

There is a lot they can do. They can have a technician come out, do diagnostics, read the "cash log".

The debit is still registering in my account. Does anyone have any contacts with BCA here or have a strategy of putting some pressure on BCA?

BCA, you can "hear it coming". The machine goes into "revolutions", telling you it is out of money. Something tells me this glitch has been going on with BCA ATMs for years.

Was hoping for a good weekend so booked myself in Shangri la. Idea was to see if there are good chicks at BATs and also had set up a meet with a girl I met on okcupid next morning. Went to BATs around 10 pm. The one lady who had asked 6 juta last time which was a few years ago was still there. Not as stunning as before, age appearing but still same attitude as last time. This girl looked absolute gorgeous in photos, and while she was upfront about money, I told her it would be a ppm before we decide for longer term (as I assumed it may be a catfish). Anyways I was chatting with this girl in the hotel lobby, sharing the hotel name and confirming time for tomorrow. This took a while and later as I was walking up to the elevator, the same BATs girl was coming out. She literally came to me, say I smell very good and kissed me in lobby and ashamed of the PDA, I decided to take her to the room. 1 mn for short term.

Here in the Netherlands, where I live, we have a lot of Indonesian restaurants. But maybe that's because Indonesia used to be a Dutch colony.
Germany and Belgium have some Indonesian restaurants as well.

I can confirm plenty in Melbourne as well. I love the food. I always noticed the offerings from hotel breakfasts are way better in quality and variety.

I'm avoiding the SW part of Bali. Instead I'm diving in Nusa Penida than afterwards yes it's Ubud but also time in Sanur to try the X Houses which are similarly priced as Classic and Travel in Jakarta I think.

Price is the only similarity. In X-house quantity, quality, service, room all is terrible compared to Classic.

It is similarly priced in Sanur, but if you are expecting the quality and infrastructure to be comparable to Classic / Travel in Jakarta, prepare yourself for a huge disappointment. Bali is more of a place to take a girl with you or meet a girl who doesn't work at bars like Classic.

Two thumbs up on Raja Ampat! Scuba diving there is reason enough to visit Indonesia. Then there is Ubud, one of my favorite destinations in the world. Most punters stick to the Southwest coast where the girls are. This area is comparable to Phuket where I find the action is acceptable as well, but not outstanding. The beaches make Phuket worth going to and one has the plus that you don't have to bring your own girl. Same, same with SW Bali. Meanwhile Ubud and Raja Ampat are definitely bring your own girl or go without destinations.

Being a great lover of seafood, OS is particularly fond of nitrox diving for bearded clams in the many rat holes Jakarta has. Highly recommended.

I will be going to Jakarta in two weeks for my second trip there. To be honest I think as a city Jakarta is a shit hole but I'll continue to stay there for two reasons; 1) the girls are the cheapest in SE Asia at least in Classic and Travel and 2) I have to go through Jakarta anyway as the main entry / exit hub as part of my scuba diving trips to Indonesia (Raja Ampat & Komodo) which are currently the best overall diving in the world at the moment. As far as sight seeing in Jakarta, there's not much but the food scene isn't bad.

Guys for my asia trips I stick to Bangkok and Phuket, somehow I don't get bored of these two places because BKK especially is such a vibrant city (phuket too to an extent) other than mongering I often hook up with locals / tourists for free as well would like to expand to Jakrata seeing the reports about how vibrant it is but is there any edge Jakrata has that you guys would say BKK or Phuket doesn't, am I missing out on something by skipping Jakarta other than wonder of a new location?

Guys, trying to score Ivermectin but Kimia Farma etc don't have it, never had any issue finding it in Thailand. Anyone had any luck with this in pharmacies or online in Jakarta please?

I was at the pharmacist today for Doxy and I asked about Invermectin or Mectin. They did not have it. Then I remembered that I asked several small pharmacies in the past and none had it. I actually had my doctor order it when I was there for a skin rash. Sorry I forgot. You may be able to order online but I would wait and get it easy in Phils or Thailand.

Damn thanks for the brutal honesty how is the local dating scene, sometimes it's not about the money but I enjoy dating locals (tinder & bumble work great in Bangkok, bumble in phuket) I enjoy going to dinners and fucking locals & tourists seduction like mongering is also a big reason I travel to thailand but I'm guessing it sucks at Jakarta and it doesn't get as many western girl tourists.

As a city, Jakarta sucks compared to BKK for all the reasons already mentioned.

Yes Jakarta girls can be cheaper but that's not the whole story. I also find them much more out going and approachable. Even girls with limited english will go out of their way to understand you and make at least some conversation. Assuming you're not hideous or a total A Hole, there is no need to limit your search to Classic type hookers in Jakarta.

The downside is that you will be dealing with almost 100% Indonesians. There are nearly zero foreign female tourists in Jakarta.

Jakarts has Muslim girls. So does Phuket but Indonesia is 80+% Muslim. I'm Catholic and it's a kink of mine to get it on with a Muslim girl. Last Christmas I woke up next to a beautiful Muslim girl that nearly cowgirled me to death. So if you share the same kink, go to Jakarta.
