I read that the two Hotel El Viajero locations have been used as short time rooms within the walled city even though technically they are not really short time hotels but instead are small hotels which are guest friendly and do not charge extra fees as long as rooms are booked double occupancy and IDs are submitted to security. The photos of these two locations aren't bad and wondering if it might even be worthwhile to just use them as the main base hotel when staying in Cartagena instead of just a short time room and staying elsewhere.

I'm not a beach person so the locations near the playas really don't appeal to me and since all of the main touristy things seem to be in or around the walled city, I thought I might as well stay within it. Even the dive shop I want to use for a day trip is located within the walled city.

So just want to get any feedback from those who have used either Hotel El Viajeros as their base hotel.

I started going to CTG in September of 2021. To be honest I was more of a GFE guy and would date for a while before moving on. But I also did partake in the pro scene. For years it seems like this thread was pretty active with lots of posts and reports and interest. Was the pandemic really the best times we're ever going to have? Are things just dead and hopeless now? I mean I know the action is still out there somewhere. Were there just more posts and interest because people were at home or not working?

It could be a combination of things.

1- Many of the good chicas are now off the market or being flown out. The chicas don't want to stay in CTG anymore, its Cancun, Tulum, Jamaica, Bahamas, Punta Cana, Spain, London, or one of the other visa free countries in Europe. Its all over their Instagram feed. I even see many bothers marrying these girls that's been ran through. These working girls just posting all they business on social media.

2 - PPP Load fraud money dried up. People were at home getting paid to stay home so they had an influx of money. It wasnt going to last forever.

3 - Many cannot return to the country. Now that Colombia is tighten up their entry requirements, all those sex offenders and those with violent felonies are being denied entry. When I use to travel in a group, I learned very quickly that if someone in the group didn't have Global Entry then I will not be on the same flight with them entering a foreign country.

4 - It got played out after they turned it into Sosua, so they are in Pattaya acting a fool walking up to girls on Beach Road asking them "lady or LadyBoy" while recording them with Meta-glasses.

5 - Many of the chicas left and are now in America earning more money. I see them in Houston, Maimi, NYC, NJ, and LA.

Been going for almost 10 years now. I now know to walk the path less travelled in Colombia.

If your main purpose is to Scuba, save yourself the time and go to San Andres. Much clearer water, much better Scuba experience. Done it 3 times there. If Scuba is just something you will add on to another objective then it will be ok but nothing memorable.

I know about San Andres and there's no mongering opportunities there. Since I need something to do during the daytime hours, I'll opt to dive at Rosario Islands even though the sites there will not be as good as in San Andres. Then at night I can do the girlie thing.

Took a 10 day trip back in May, only bc I wanted to hang w a buddy who goes there yearly. Prior to that, been few yrs since.

Arriving and knowing that this city being a pure tourist trap, I chatted with few girls on Tinder, to maybe enjoy one or two nonpros, but didn't get to meet any of them. They either cancelled, no replies or delayed replied where I myself cancelled too. With only 10 days I didn't have the patience. Booked an airbnb 3 minutes from the Airport so I wasn't in the middle of Boca grande or Centro where most dudes go. I didn't mind cause I was in a quiet residential area where I was able to enjoy some great local food, morning walks, and had an entire house with a gated yard to myself. Hot water, safe, very large units and all the girls I brought there had a good time. No guards, so I had to be my own security and made all send me their ID prior to showing up. That was the highlight of my trip and was able to relax. At first I left cheap, especially since my friend stayed literally two blocks away from playa Hollywood. But after he told me his Airbnb rate, which was 5 x what I paid. I'm like shyyytt I'm good LOL.

Dayone -- Smooth arrival around noon with no airport delay or issues, already had pesos. Quick check-in, met cool landlord who gave security brief and building is full of cams, happy. Next, linked up w buddy, quick snack, drinks, short walk to playa Hollywood from 5-6 p. That's pretty much when you want to go daily and I wasn't disappointed. The thing there now, if you go early, you'll see many girls but a huge mass arrives right around 5 p and post near the entrance to get clients. It's a beautiful show and day one I grabbed at least 20 whatsapp. Lots of turkey heads, but several 7-8's, some 9's on the right day. Most want 300, I didn't negotiate. The entire trip I only paid 300 incl taxi. Except for one girl I met outside of the tower and she took 250. The days where you could have had those centro girls for 150 k is over, but I think you can still go down to 200 if it's late and if they don't dress well.

Not going to write day by day, and detailed dick strokes by dick strokes. It's all the same. Just pull up pornhub and that was me LOL. 2 Girls most days, one from the playa, one from the tower late night. I usually head over there after 10 P. Buddy and I did visit some of the clubs. Like Pretexo, small little lounge for pre-game, grab a drink and talk to couple chicas while you wait for midnight. Around midnight I do a walk tour in the old city and usually you'll have a couple dozens of baddies walking around. I've found some 7-9's very late. Same rate 300-400 k but all take 300. Met two cool security guards in front of the clubs, when it's late one of them walk around with you. Cool peoples everywhere. I mostly used Uber, but I still linked up with a taxi driver that I trusted in case of emergencies, called him when it's late of if stranded and he quickly shows up. One of the massage girls offered me a session at the beach and I denied, she was tired and exhausted so I bought her a drink, next thing you know, she's the niece of that taxi driver that I met LOL. Small town, so be nice to people cz they all know ea other. She put me on some game, what to look out for, etc.

Don't feel pressure to pick at the playa, same exact girls will be at the clubs and tower area later. Also, right after the playa closes, just make a right, and for next few hrs incl all eve many of them are strolling up and down that strip. Called up few of them and got some digits hanging in that area in front of buddy's apt. That's the only advantage of staying there, that area is called El Laguito. Step out of your apt late night and chicas in the street, or while they wait for taxi after finishing a session w a neighbor LOL.

Delirium. Pretty much the only club worth going, full of chicas on Fri. / sat, good music. Buddy is funny af, dude's a bit ol skool so he carries a flask or a water bottle w liquor so he doesn't have to buy shit. Smart but the girls clocked him and call him cheap. They know him from prev trips since he comes yearly sometimes twice. So it is true that there's a network and a group that discuss the fellas. In Delirium tbh I wanted to get a table on a sat, one or two bottles and party, but my boy didn't want to split it and he prefers to walk around. I didn't like it cause I hate looking cheap plus I do love to post and drink and have the girls come to me, but I ended up posting at the bar. A girl who seen me at the beach, walked up and asked why I'm hanging w a loser, said all the girls know my friend is cheap LOL. One drink there is 125-150 k pesos, bought two diff girls a drink, plus I had two and already spent 500-600 k, which is the price of a decent bottle. So if you're in Delirium as two guys especially, make sense to just grab a bottle. Since my face isn't recognized in there, I was quoted the 2 m, then 1 m, and after I laughed and mentioned I aint new to the game, they went down to 500 k and was ok for me since that girl was a solid 8+, we danced, kissed. Passionate beautiful girl. Said was related to cartel. No need to name which here. I had a great time in Delirium. Great music, liquor, hot girls everywhere, doesn't get any better.

Another thing. At the airport from home, a couple American girls asked me for my number as they were headed to CTG. They contacted me to hang but I never got the chance to meet them. There was a group of 5 of them in the club, other ones and I talked to them. Then when I stepped outside there were more. Speaking fluent English and some where talking about the p4 p thing going on in there. That's kinna weird and sus in a way. These days they report what they see back home on social medial, passport bro this, passport bro that. I recall watching a tiktok of one of them who pretended she didn't know English, and got a bro to buy her meals and drinks thinking she was a local LOL. Be careful fellas, Lakeisha and Becky are unto us out there LOL.

If you want to relax and have fun in a more secure environment, try Angeles Club or Pley Club. I visited both, Pley Club was better. On a Tues. Night, only 2 other gents, 12 girls and at least 8 of them were solid 7-9's. I fucking promise you and I didn't expect that. The one I picked was a flight attendant student, working in the club to finish school. 400 k for the HR, room incl and I think that's a fair price since those girls can compete if not better than any of the Delirium girls.

The only thing missing in Cartagena imo are cheap local spots like they have in mde and all over the country. I'm a high volume guy and love my 50 k romps in Centro Bogota or Mde LOL. That shows clearly show the locals are only in that city to work cause I asked many taxi drivers and there are none. My hired driver took me to a club that looks like a house and I thought I hit the jackpot since he promised there are tons of girls there that gringos don't know about, yeah right. Walked in there, 3 girls, ugly as in below 4's, and they wanted 300 k. I almost laughed and ran out there and said drop me of in walled city.

Don't buy sildenafil or tadalafilia in CTE. They only have fakes all over even in fancy Boca-grande pharmacies. I'm not just talking the ones with no effect, those will give you explosive embarrassing diarrheas. They got fakes one in mde too but worse in this place. I wanted to go harder last couple days and got some major stomach sickness from popping two 100 MG within 2 days, zero effects. I'm man enough to admit I had to give up and quit my last session before I left, still paid the girl though. I'm so lucky I had a short flight and as soon as I got home I destroyed my bathroom. The sex God spared me a tragedy in the airplane. I'm talking running to the toilet 3 times an hour for several hours LOL. Lost 5 lbs and pill poison cleared LOL. We can't win, I didn't bring my own shit since now they do randomly search single men's bags. And can't buy local wtf?

They are trying to push them outside the walls to make inside the walls appear more family friendly.

But do not go to San Andres for diving in December and January. The water is really rough in those months.

This is good to know in addition to the daytime temperature heat which I would not like. I haven't been to Cartagena yet but was considering adding it on for my next trip to Colombia. At this point I might still come for a short stay if I include bit of scuba diving at Rosario Islands.

Shit I only saw in Khoa San Road in Bangkok.

Cattleya, Fusion, and Ibiza shut down today by the government. A big loss for ground game. Cattleya was a shell of what Dolce Vita was, but it was 80% as good. Unless you're a guy that prefers Playa Hollywood hunting, I can no longer rec CTG over other cities. Yes theres audible plays like Tinder Bumble Mileroticos, but that's everywhere. Clubs are a strength for the guys like myself who don't have 2+ weeks to visit 4+ months every year. Might as well just go to MDE or BOG for far better ground game. Imo recent Playa Hollywood was mostly big morenas or Afro suited for Sosua guys. Meaning the hot fit ones are more rare and more in demand. Just FYI for othera.
