I'm considering a job in Luxembourg, and so was in town for the the weekend, and dutifully did some recon on the monger scene.

The internet had yielded a high end strip club named Saumur, and so I journeyed down there on a Saturday night.

Saumur is near the train station, but about 4 blocks north. This takes it out of the seedy strip club / street walker scene.

My hotel was in the old town, and it was about a 15 minute walk down to the train station. I walked down past Saumur close by off the main street (noting its location for later) , and then continued on towards the train stain via the eastern secondary back street. The secondary street yielded up a flurry of 6 or so low end strip clubs in the final 2 blocks before the train station, as well as a three mid range street walkers. The strip clubs all looked pretty sketchy, and there was no in / out traffic happening at any of them. Never a good sign. The street girls were 4-6s, and were all eastern / central europeans.

After arriving at the train station, I reversed direction and headed up the western secondary back street. A short ways up there was a group of dark skinned dudes hanging around, and two of them optimistically made eye contact and said hello in French (I presume that was boys town).

A short while thereafter I saw a quite hot eastern european girl (who had suddenly emerged behind me) get somewhat accosted ("romanced") by one of the various dark skinned guys hanging out on the street. He had a pretty good grip on her hand, but she jerked it away and told him to talk to "her guy". As I walked along on the opposite side of the street, I saw her walk another 30 metres north, and then get into a mini-van with some dude (presumably her pimp)

Eventually I made my way back to Saumur.

Saumur is appropriately located at 13 rue Dicks. It is 20 metres (street front) by 30 metres, and is split into two equal halves. The left most half is a regular bar / nightclub, and the right most half is the strip club.

Upon entering, an automatic door opens to the left (nightclub). The ambience is excellent. The lighting / sound system are top notch, and the general decor is excellent.

Their operating hours are built around the "after hours" crowd, and run from 8pm to 9 am. Yes. 9 am. Their market is built around those who are leaving other clubs at 3am.

I arrived at 11am on a Saturday, and there was one guy at the bar, and group of 3 guys / 2 girls at the back. My vodka / tonic was a reasonable 11 euros.

There is a passageway to the stripclub half, and entry is 10 euros, for which you receive 10 club dollars (5 x $2 each). After each girl's dance set she comes by to each of the few guys in the small club to get a tip, so at 6 minutes per dance set, these 5 $2 vouchers don't last long. Failure to tip seems to be viewed as an insult by the girls, so you may as well plan on a hourly surcharge of $20.

There is a central walkway, with 3 sets of quarter-circled 4-seaters on either side and a round table in front of each 4-seater. There are also 6 stools at the stage (sniffer's row) , a VIP area at the back seating 6, and a "2nd floor" covering 1/6th or so of the floor area via "stilts".

The overall quality of the ambience and sound system is excellent.

While I was there there were three other groups of customers. 1. One guy (50's) w one girl (40s', hot).2. Two guys / one girl (20's).3. One guy / two girls (20's).

I had intentionally sat myself on the aisle seat of my 4-seater, so as to discourage any of the girls from putting on the hard sell. My intention was purely recon. Nonetheless a few did of course approach me, and did so quite diplomatically. I declined their offers with equal diplomacy.

I saw 10 girls there, and I would rate them as 6-8s physically, and 7-8. 5's in their personal / sales skills.

While in the non-strip club section, I had asked the bartender about the cost to buy a girl a drink and she had looked uncomfortable and told me there was a menu. I asked the hostess / waitress in the strip club section for the menu, and my eyes bugged out as I saw the prices. They were only champagne drinks and the cheapest was 120 euros. Yes. 120 euros. For a drink. No lap / table dancing.

I left 5 minutes later.

In summary, it seems like a big step forwards from the other options in Luxembourg, but still pretty poor value. The staff and girls were very courteous, and didn't put on the hard sell. I felt safe at all times. The ambience / cleanliness were excellent.

But the business model seems clearly built around suckering guys into unwittingly buying a girl one or more 120 euro drinks. And them presumably being angered by this when they sober up, and never returning.

In summary, if you can keep your wits around you and say no to buying a girl a drink, and you just want to stare at titties and don't want to pay 60euros for a 40 minute taxi to Trier, then this would appear to be one of the better options in Lux (based upon what I've read below).

But still a clip joint (120 euros for a drink?). Disappointing.

Had a good time with Miriam yesterday at Club Pearls!

I had checked her out on the website and I called ahead to see if she was in.

Then I drove over and was met by the madam who showed me to a sort of waiting room. It took a few minuted, but then Miriam arrived.

Miriam is a real stunner! The pictures on the website (http://www.club-pearls.de/de/girls_detail.php?fID=557) are quite accurate.

Initially there was a bit of confusion as she thought I was the one that had made an appointment with her, but then we agreed on €80 for 20 minutes. A bit steep for my limited budget, but she turned out to be well worth it.

Checked out street walkers and Pearl. No comparison. SWs ask 50 in the car and 100 in a hotel (which one is not clear, but the Mercure would not allow them in). They are africans (behind the hotel) and something else on the right side of the hotel, looking at the railway station. Some of them is definetly a TS, some other could be East European or Far Eastern.

None of them attractive enough to 'go cheap' in the car and risking either being arrested or robbed. Same for the more expensive option. For 100 Euro there is much better to be found. With a little more work.

Took the car and went to Trier, practically the first german town after passing the border. Pearls prices are 155 for the hour, 110 for the half hour. Line up was a bit stiff (the place is german to the bone) but there were nice girls.

Chosen Tina, she has BIG assets (and I like them, does not matter if they come out of surgery). 30 minutes, covered BJ (good, experience has advantages), various positions, a bit of chat afterwords. No kissing allowed. Nice room and nice house. Parking is in the back, so you do not have to park on the street.

110 Euro for the environment and the choise of girls is OK to me. 30 minutes driving (and 30 back) are worthwhile. Extra's are expensive, bare BJ costs 50 Euro more, and if somebody is in for A levels, you must find the right girl. Which is not easy, and pay a stiff extra I believe.

I am not sure that driving double the distance is a good deal, especially in the winter. German houses are rather standard, and the FKK clubs will offer more or less the same kind of, well. Bottomline.

Did not check out the clubs. I tend to steer clear of them anyway, wherever I go, unless I know (thanks to you folks) that they are not a trap. The escort scene is appalling, did a bit of surfing around, prices are impossible for my pockets and unreasonable. Besides I am afraid that the hotel would not like it at all.

It boils down to a question of logistics. You need a car. Luxembourg city is very small, in 15 minutes walking you can reach the centre, but for having fun there is nothing local. You got to have wheels. On the subject, do not use the parking at the station, its a rip off. Go to the covered garages closeby (ask the hotel for directions).

Although reportedly the crime in Lux is limited, there is a lot of strange people around, especially youth and various brands of foreigners. I would not go walking around without some precautions, especially at night.

I've tried Pearls in Trier twice and I was not that impressed with the line up. In the end I chose Katja and it was an ok experience. She has big silicone breasts and a slim body, but was very passive. Nothing spectacular, but ok.

On a second visit I chose Tina and that turned out to be a bit of a disappointing session. Very passive and the pictures on the website are...well...a bit dated.

I think the problem is the East European chicks mentality, they just lack any form of passion and act like a live blow up doll. I can understand that these girls are perhaps not always that much "into it" but at least I expect them to at least reasonably fake it for 20 minutes and €80,-

I've never heard about ladies parked in cars but heard some years ago about gays in cars a little bit out of town in an area called "Kockelscheuer". Perhaps now there are ladies?

Even if a place like this should exist, I personally wouldn't go there because this place would be really unsecure in my opinion. Such places, same as the SW near the railway station in town, would have a lot of drugged and HIV-infected lo-so hookers from nearby belgium and france.

Even if Luxembourg is, speaking of criminality, very secure. Be careful with guys coming from eastern europe (ex-yougoslavia, albania, montenegro, .) and from cabo verde. A lot of these are in drugs and crime.

As said before, better go to a bordello in nearby germany for a not that big difference in money. Better fun and more secure.

I didn't think about brothels being this far away (over 1 hour car drive) as I presume he has no car in Luxembourg and has to take a cab. This way he would have 2 shot for eur 150 plus taxi for eur 150, which would not be the mentioned bargain.

I only said that quality and price at Pearls in Trier are a bargain compared to Luxembourg. Of course you get cheaper; for example Eroscenter in Trier, in the "Luxemburger Strasse" is cheaper, as is quality.

So let's get the Luxembourg forum goin' on. (Prefer the Thailand forum).

There is a top class brothel in Saarlouis (one hour by car, on the way to Saarbrücken) called Villa Venezia. Think EUR 100-120 for 30 mins; EUR 150-175 for an hour.

Don't try to find something in Luxembourg. The whole mongeing scene there is a rip-off.

You'd better try in Trier (40-50 km over the highway). One good place is Club Pearls. Hope I have the right to put a link in here (www.club-pearls.de). You'll find a quite good selection of ladies there with good service. Their web page explains it all. Had some really good sessions there. Prices are far beyond Luxembourg prices.

If one day you try to find something in Luxembourg city, you'll find everything in "Quartier Gare". It's a real rip-off as I already said. They try to sell ladydrinks and bottles of champagne at 500 eur or even more and afterwards you'll get nothing. You'll also find freelancers (streetwalkers) near this railway station going to the right near the post office; but these are really cheap hookers where you could get STDs.

Only place near Luxembourg city that's less of a rip-off with nice and clean quality girls is in a village called "Hostert" about 15km out of town about 5km from the airport area. This bar is called "D&D"; 50-100m away from the village's church. A lot of taxy drivers know the place.

Take care because taxis are very expensive in Luxembourg.
