The renter shouldn't arrive to see a place in bad condition and be offered a discount! Most are on vacation and don't have time to deal with this mess. They don't want to save a couple of dollars from a crappy place. They are on vacation and want to enjoy themselves!
Since I was looking for a place too, I did a lot of research and found that most rental places are not reliable in regard to the condition of the apartment. Only exception might be reviews of a specific unit. This is why I find that I will NEVER pay in advance for the rental of apartment (more than a day or two). I will go there myself and inspect the apartment.
My 2 cents.

The Sheraton is girl friendly, but they made copy of her id when she comes in at night, and they ask why are so many women coming and going.
Have fun.

Hey guys,
Can someone help me and advise of apartments for rent that are chica friendly? I will be in Medellin Halloween weekend and would like to stay at an apartment where I can bring a few chicas and party without worrying that I might bother the room next door or have someone knock at my door at a hotel.

In addition, there are three sides to every story. There are the stories of those two opposing views and then thereīs the truth.
I actually took the time to have Rich over and interviewed him about was written.
Richard proceeded to tell me his version of the story.
Apparently, you posted this for your friend, and somehow you were doing him a favor.
Flaming First American like you did was unnecessary.
Most of the Americans that live here know and llike Rich and have done business with him, but they donīt post here on this forum.
Really, Jackson shouldnīt have allowed that post because of the negativity of it.
IMHO, We are all here to post positives and negatives to save one another from the pitfalls that exist when traveling etc.
Also, when hearing Richīs side of story, it was 180 degrees different.
He did admit that there were things that were not working, and that he wouldīve offered a discount.
Also, this is not to discredit the other two businesses that were listed.
Both of them are getting good reviews from the people that I have talked to.
Just my two cents.

the FourPoints Sheraton is reasonably chica-friendly. They'll want to see the ID of the girl and probably register her if she stays more than just an hour or two. If they register her, they'll also charge you a guest fee. That's the same with all hotels in Medellin.
If you look for a more private place to stay, why don't you check out my rooms (http://vacationrentalsmedellin.com)? As you might know, I'm the owner of Girlfriend 4 A Week, I have a professional photo studio in my apartment and I also own a modeling agency. People who stay at my place are also automatically invited to the VIP Parties I occasionally throw for my clients. Lot's of action going on. Drop me a line if you're interested.
Regards,
PaisaLover

Hi guys,
My wingman and I are coming down to Medellin the first week of October. I've got a room at the Four Points Sheraton. It is near the Oviedo mall in El Poblado. Does anyone know how girl friendly they are and if they charge a chica fee?
The plan was for my buddy to get a room close by. Frank's Place II is walking distance or the Mansion. But I see from Frank's posts that FP II is now closed? Any recommendations guys for somewhere else that is close by and girl friendly?
Sounds like it's hard to get girls from the Mayorista to come back with you anyway? We both have very limited Spanish.

The hotel felt very safe to me, there were a lot of staff and employees around the premises. Yes, there is air conditioning.
I didnt bring any chicas back to my room, so I don't know if they're chica friendly. Website: www.hotelnutibara.com, reservas@hotelnutibara.com
Helpful staff, I'll be back on Oct. 15.

Do the hotel have a website? Do they check for ID's for the girls or otherwise chica friendly?
How safe did you feel staying there?
Also do they have air-condition?

ACAZAR DEL PARQUEL have studios in an apartment hotel from 1. 3 million COP + public servicies.
Anyone have experience from living there?
It seems to be a good option for a long term rental, even though it is above my normal price range, but the luxury can make it worth it.
However there are lotīs of cheap apartments to rent, but they are not furnished. It costs to furnish, write all contracts, pay all bills, and then leave , practically having to leave everyting behind.
The best option should be to rent a room, but then you loose your privacy (chicas).
A catch 22-situation for one who wants to have a low rent.
