Antioxidants enhance erections by inhibiting arginase, an enzyme that depletes L-arginine and nitric oxide.

arginase activity was lowered in healthy humans following consumption of a flavanol-rich cocoa beverage.

Cocoa flavanols lower vascular arginase activity in humans

inhibiting arginase will maintain normal cellular levels of arginine, thus allowing for normal muscle relaxation and sexual response.

Hi,
The catuaba bark is an ok tea, I lengthened the time in cold water to about 20 minutes, and then I simmered it for about 40 minutes. It tasted a little stronger and I noted that evening that I was not getting to sleep. I wasn't agitated or restless, nor was I turned on, just not falling off to sleep. I noticed no increase in libido.
Horny Goat Weed...good for the goats.
Swedish Pollen Flower, may be increasing seminal fluid, no noticeable effect on libido.
Zinc citrate...can't tell.
I had yohimbe tea from tree bark, made me feel flushed and swollen, weird.
Maca...nothing, I think it is mixed in with the Horny Goat Weed.
I have been taking the Swedish Pollen Flower, Goat Weed, and zinc for about a month now.
I guess there are considerations regarding libido, stamina, wood and ejaculate. I will let you know if I find anything that works. Many thanks for all your contributions.

the seeds of Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa have been used by the Chinese for centuries to increase vasodilation and relax muscles, causing increased penile blood flow and erection in males.
Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa contains substances that greatly inhibit the production of enzyme Phosphodiesterase-V (PDE-5) - a similar mechanism to Viagra.

Cryotest is an enhanced ZMA product (which is used by bodybuilders to increase testosterone levels in a natural manner), which I use in combination with Tribulus.
I am very happy with it, simply by observing that my libido has shot through the roof since taking it.

Your point of view towards regulation is incorrect. It's not about freedom of choice but rather worthless supplements on the market that does not have any effect upon a person except to empty bank accounts of the consumer. IMO, those radio comm'l aired frequently promising penis enlargement is ludicrous. This is what legislation is all about. To protect the general public from false claims and promises.
It's now been proven after many years on the market that Ginkgo Biloba does not improve memory or other claims. Why should it be allowed to be sold?

New legislation in the U.S. Senate would mandate that every dietary supplement would have to go through a brand new process of government review in order to stay on the market.
If this bill, S. 3002, the Dietary Supplement Safety Act, becomes law your health care choices will be drastically reduced, and many of the supplements available today will become illegal. This and other provisions of this misguided legislation affect ALL dietary supplements, including vitamins, minerals, herbs, sports, and diet products.
If you believe consumers deserve real health choices, tell Washington to Save Our Supplements. TAKE ACTION

DON'T LET CONGRESS TAKE
AWAY YOUR SUPPLEMENTS
On February 3, 2010, Senators John McCain and Byron Dorgan introduced S. 3002, a bill entitled, The Dietary Supplement Safety Act. The supposed purpose of the bill is to make dietary supplements "safer." This is ironic because dietary supplements are already hundreds of times safer than either prescription or over-the-counter drugs.
The real purpose of this bill is to limit your access to dietary suppl ements. The government would tell you, the consumer, what dietary supplements you could and could not buy. There is little doubt that if this bill becomes law your choices will be drastically reduced, and many of the supplements you take today will become illegal. This misguided bill affects ALL dietary supplements, including vitamins, minerals, herbs, sports and diet products.
But, who is behind this bill? The answer is simple: big time sports leagues, especially Major League Baseball, which in recent years have been plagued by steroid scandals. Fearful that Congress will end their lucrative anti-trust exemption and require real drug testing, they have decided to make the supplement industry their scapegoat. When one of their players tests positive for steroids, they'd like people to think it must have been an adulterated dietary supplement.
Unless you want the government to tell you what supplements you can and cannot take, and unless you want to see your freedom of choice drastically reduced, you need to make your views known to your United States Senators.Tell them to oppose this terrible piece of legislation.
To make your views known, you can go to the Save Our Supplements website (SaveOurSupplements.org) to send a note in opposition to S. 3002 directly to your two Senators or you can use the website to get information to construct your own personal letter. Either way, you need to act immediately. Do not let Congress take away your right to buy and use dietary supplements.

Many supplements try to boost the body's natural vasodilator nitric oxide. An alternative is to add a different vasodilator. The easy ones to find don't last long in the body, like ginger, cayenne and niacin. A long lasting vasodilator is Theobromine, from cocoa. I found a source of 99% pure capsules of Theobromine and ordered some (see link).

One capsule did nothing noticeable. Two capsules give a gentle boost for an old guy. Three should be enough for anybody. Four capsules helped me last for hours but resulted in a hangover the next day.

I heard that arginine ethyl ester is much better absorbed than L-arginine. I never had much luck with L-arginine. I bought some White Blood brand arginine ethyl ester. It stinks, but I took it anyway. The first dose I took one capsule and it was like I was a teenager again. It was all downhill from there. I had to take bigger and bigger doses for less and less effect, until eventually it stopped working for me.

I have had some success with taking 50mg of zinc every day. It helps my stamina. I like the zinc citrate form. For a short term boost at game time, magnesium helps a lot with firmness and slightly with stamina. The best supplement is magnesium glycinate, since it doesn't cause diarrhea like other forms. Alternatively, you could eat several bananas instead.

Many people claim success with Tribulus. The main active ingredient is protodioscin. Supposedly it is converted by the body into DHEA. It is cheaper to just buy DHEA.
