I'm looking forward to your report on MTY. Not sure when in the summer you're going but it gets very hot. As far as the city itself goes I don't think it will be hard to like it more than Tijuana especially if the only part of Tijuana you visited was ZN. TomJackin always does a great job covering the cities he visits and doing the leg work of going to the number of chica bars. I think in MTY it was close to 20 with some of them not being able to visit or closed. I know he is a frequent visitor to Tijuana but I have never seen him do a report on Tijuana and all the bars that are actually in the city. If I'm not correct Tom please feel free to correct me. Off the top of my head I can think of about 15 places and that doesn't include some of the bars in the ZN that I don't know the name of.

Also depending on what your standards are look wise and how many of these places actually have decent looking workers that you'd pay money to be with. Either way I hope you have a great time and see a different side of Mexico.

Posts: 2885GDL was great, but not for high end girls. Food, Weather and the city was cheap when I was visiting, but I had trouble getting any girls above a 6 there. I would meet hot girls from GDL in other cities, especially in Tijuana, but I had no luck in GDL. I thought GDL was going to be a gold mind, but it was not for me, honestly the opposite.

Mexico City is currently way cheaper than MTY, and as I reported MTY has gotten very expensive and hot girls, just are not available like they were in the past, at least for me. There are still a lot of hot girls in San Pedro, but they are just not easily accessible.
Stick with Mexico City and the surrounding cities. Another plus it is very cheap to travel out of CDMX. Good luck.

Posts: 4785I can see why you say that. The cities do have a similar vibe. And the traffic getting out of the city was unreal. I left at 8 PM for Queretaro and spent 2 hours getting out of GDL and 3 getting to Queretaro. I have been in BA in the winter though and GDL does not get that cold.

Arizona State has this interesting hookup with a lot of Latin schools. When you go to Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG), they have signs everywhere bragging about the connection to ASU. ASU is trying to get Mexican and Latin students. You can take your first few years in Mexico for university, where it is cheaper or even do it on line, and get all your credits seamlessly transferred to ASU and finish with an American degree. When I was on the university tour, there were like two 9-10 types on the tour.
Then I looked at the med school there. All the students had on these white uniforms that left little to the imagination. Thing is I did not see one overweight woman there. The whole medical school is geared towards practicing in the USA. What got me is the final two years cost $84,000 per year, and the match rate for residencies is only 75%, so there should be some hotties crying looking for SDs if they did not match. I think the average salary in Mexico for doctors is $30,000 and that would mean she would be desperate as she is looking at a lifetime of paying off her debt. I should have been looking for a SB in GDL in the wild versus on seeking.
But yeah, that infrastructure issue is a black mark. Besides the traffic issues, I was subject to a blackout in the nicest area of GDL and they supposedly happen all the time. The pollution did not bother me though. When I am in Bogota, in a day, my nose will be running due to the pollution, and I have to take meds to slow it down.

Posts: 4785When DF got me to go to MTY, I was blown away by the quality and quantity. Honestly, my two favorite fun SBs were from MTY with a 20 year old nympho being my fondest memory, but DF says it sucks now and I was mostly disappointed pre-pandemic. The strip club scene has a good low end. Matehula cannot be missed but once is enough. Thing is the woman are cheap and butt ugly, but you descend into this basement to fuck, you can literally see other guys going at it. The basement is filled with the smell of condoms and sperm, and I joked that it is monger hell. I think I paid like $20, but I could not get hard. LOL. I think it is Pooky or Porky's that is close by, and the quality is better but it is higher priced.

Many of the high end clubs shut down but are now back in running. I just look at the escort rates and shake my head. The casas were cheap but I saw only one woman in them who was not fat.
In 2020, I was banging this great goth chick for $60 in CDMX and using laboutique VIP and getting laid for a $100 in CDMX with some lookers, but those prices are long gone. An influx of foreigners in both CDMX and MTY have caused both rents and prices to go up and in CDMX, there have been open revolts with how many foreigners have been moving in. Although that is not the case with MTY or the Cancun region, I just could not settle down there because of how much more expensive it is than other places. I really liked Merida as a place to settle down. It is safe; people are friendly, and it is great if you like the heat, but I never played around there.

Weather Spark has a feature to compare the climates of multiple cities so I popped a few of the suggested places in:
https://weatherspark.com/compare/y/3...l-de-las-Casas
Guadalajara is right on the top edge of what I think I'd like and San-Cristobal-de-las-Casas might actually be too cold!

It's bigger, but not by much. I will be going to Monterrey for the first time later this summer to check it out. It's supposed to be the most modern city in Mexico, and I'm sure that therefore makes it one of the most expensive cities in Mexico too. Right up there with Cancun, if not worse in some respects. All I know is that there are a lot of strip clubs there where you can fuck the girls, like at the clubs in Tijuana, but even more of them. At least that's the impression I get from TomJackin's reports. Time to go see for myself! Maybe I will do GDL next. Will do a report after the trip. Hopefully a good one with pics!

Posts: 1084One thing about Monterrey is that it is less narco influenced than other large cities in México. It is true that it has one of the highest costs of living. Really, I have been all over LatAm, including just within the past eight months Colombia, Costa Rica, Perú, Chile and Ecuador, and México is really not the answer to anything. Head farther south if you want to live in LatAm.

Posts: 1084Before I moved to Buenos Aires, I compared it to Guadalajara by living in each for six weeks. Guadalajara did not lose by much. I liked the 'barber shops' with the balloons out in front. Had some good sex there. But the public transportation is not as good and the city layout is kinda chaotic. A lot of the chicas in the next clubs were Dominicans which was a minus.

Posts: 4785Yeah, Zapopan is technically distinct from Guadalajara, and there must be some history as to why, but it is right there. It is like Fort Worth and Arlington.

She said the prices for rent were the highest in Mexico and when I looked, they were comparable to some Texas cities. She was a sensitive type, and she really did not like the dog eat dog mentality that came in with all the new businesses and found work doing Covid testing in Tulum. She was hired in part because her English was so good. She moved in with a friend with four kids and she was happy there for a while and told me there was a lot of love in that house and that she did not miss MTY at all.

When looking at the size of an urban area, I like to consider the entire metropolitan population. By that measure, Monterrey is no. 2 and Guadalajara no. 3. Tijuana is below both at no. 6:

If you are just going by population of the city yes but when you look at the two in terms of the metropolitan area GDL is more than double the size of Tijuana. I understand people that have never been to GDL believing that Tijuana is larger but I would think anyone that has been in each city would clearly see that Tijuana doesn't come close to GDL in terms of size and population.

Posts: 4785From a nonmongering POV considering quality of lime and climate, I would choose Curenavaca or Queretaro for all the months but summer. Their elevation is a little lower than CDMX and so the weather is a little warmer. The Southern half of Mexico is in the rainy season in the summer. For the summer months purely for QOL and climate, I would go towards the cities near Tijuana. Rosarito is beautiful, and Ensenada is a lot of fun and is relatively safe. Cabo San Lucas also avoids the rain but it is hotter than those other two cities.

It is the second biggest city, and I was stunned with the quality of lookers in and around the universities there. Cost of living in Monterrey is high and the woman want more $ as is the case with CDMX. Guadalajara is cheaper and prices are lower. Guadalajra also has a vibrant P4 P scene with agencies, casas, and strip clubs.
If you are into pure P4P versus sugaring, I am sure there are decent neighborhoods in Tijuana and The Hong Kong club there is hard to beat as far as high volume pussy goes. Maybe Brazil, Thailand, or the FKKs have it beat, but there is not much else that does. For me in the summer months, I loved the beaches in Rosarito and would probably rent a place there, grab a cheap car, and drive to Tijuana when I had the urge to spew.
San Luis de Potosi has the Huasteca Potosina and is renowned for world-class whitewater rafting, canoeing, and tubing. I would like to check that out, but I think Queretaro and Cuernavaca have more going on than SLP. Cuernavaca is like an hour bus ride to CDMX and while Queretaro is more like 3 hours, so CDMX is not too far away if you need to get to the big city feel. They are building a train that should make that trip 90 minutes from Queretaro. The train is supposed to come on line in 2028.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm going to Oaxaca for Dia de Los Muertos this year so I'll get to see what it is like. I'm also going to spend a week in CDMX. I'm not sure I'll get any mongering in but I'll keep an eye out on Mileroticos and Seeking to see what the situation is like.
