[The Cane]

Florianopolis, or "Floripa" as the Brazilians like to call it, is another city that I had long thought about visiting. Ask a Brazilian, and many of them will proclaim Floripa to be the best city in all of Brazil. I took a day long, organized tour of the city, and I have to agree that it was very nice. If you like the beach, then I don't know of any other place in Brazil where I have been with so many clean, sandy beaches to enjoy. And like with every other city in Brazil I have visited (Rio, Sampa, Porto, Curitiba), Floripa has an active, well-developed P4 P sex scene. My stay in Floripa was short, just three days, and here is my experience from partaking in that beautiful city's sex scene:

Doce Veneno

Doce Veneno (Sweet Poison) was my first taste of what P4P sex is like in Floripa. There was a 65 reals entrance fee with a 100 reals consumption minimum. The girls' asking price for an hour of sex was 1,000 reals. To take a girl back to your hotel room would run you a 500 reals bar fine. This information was provided to me by a tall, dark-haired, average looking branca from Belo Horizonte going by "Juliana". To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the looks of this place. Not that it was a dump or anything. It wasn't. It just looks so much nicer and "exciting" inside online than what I found it to be. Well, I was there on a Sunday night, so I'm sure that had something to do with the lack of energy in the place.

And another thing about this place I didn't like, and what is shared with other clubs in both Floripa and Curitiba, was the waiters constantly trying to push girls off on me. I'm sure they were just trying to be helpful and get the girls some business, but I find it really annoying. So, after some drinks and without a session, I caught a taxi back to my hotel.

It was late, and I had planned to go up to my room for some sleep, but right across the street from my hotel (Blue Tree Premium) there was this club that was just rocking on a Sunday night! I don't recall the name of the place, but it's literally across the street from the Blue Tree Premium Hotel (very nice by the way). I decided to drop in to check it out. You have to show your ID and give a fingerprint to get in (tap the light three times), and the entrance fee was 20 reals. So, I get in there and order a beer, and who eventually bops in but Juliana and two other tutes from Doce Veneno! I guess they concluded the club was sucking too LOL! They walked right past me at least a couple of times, and I wasn't sure if they recognized me or not. I mean these tutes can turn it on and off just like that! One minute you're in the puta palace and they're all over you, but then they can see you on the street and not know you from Adam! I tried to get Juliana's attention during one of her passes but failed. Oh well! I stayed for a little while enjoying the raucous scene and the live music while nursing my beer. Then made it on back to my room for some much-needed rest.

Sex Night Club

Now, this club makes absolutely no pretenses regarding what it's all about. Fucking! What I liked about it from the start was that there was only a very minimal entrance fee to get in, I want to say like 40 reals or something, and no minimum consumption fee. Good news to the ears and to the wallet! The thing is that the layout of the facilities is kind of weird I thought. The club opens early, but only on one side of it. When the taxi driver took me there we both thought the club was closed, but he took me to the entrance on the other side of the building that opens up later, the strip club side. On the side that opens early, you go in and find a bar and some seating. Then way in the back there is sort of an upper level with more open seating, and then an enclosed, much fancier area with more luxurious accommodations.

The waiter took me to the luxurious spot, and I ordered a bottle of one of my favorite alcoholic drinks. Then once again came the attempt to push this girl off onto me and that one. The waiter spoke Spanish, so I told him in fluent Spanish that there was no need for him to keep presenting girls to me, and that I would choose someone I liked if and when I saw her, so he backed off with the constant puta presentations. I in fact wasn't seeing anybody I liked, but I chose a girl to sit with anyway just to figure out how the place worked. I offered her a drink from my bottle, but she said the girls could not drink from the client bottles, and only from copas purchased specifically for them. Anyway, it was from talking to her that I learned that the other side of the club, the strip club side, would open up at 11 pm, and that would be the place to be since that's where all the action was going to take place. I informed my waiter that I wanted to move to the strip club at 11 pm.

At the appointed time the waiter took me and my bottle to the other side. Once you get inside the space it's dark, long, and narrow with a stage with stripper poles in the middle. I took a seat and continued to nurse my drink from my bottle. Oh, and here we go again with the waiters trying to select for me! The only one in here who knows what I like is me, so stop it! One waiter asked me do you like this type, that type, one who speaks English, blah, blah, blah! I said I will know it when I see it! They left me alone. And then I eventually did see her. A really cute, girl next door type, morena clara with a very pretty face, big eyelashes, and normal size butt dancing and swaying to the pumping music. Now for me, if I lived in Brazil and had a Brazilian girlfriend, this is the type of garota I would want to date. Bokarra

Bokarra is probably the most famous and well-known club in Floripa. A tute I was talking to in Sampa who used to work at Bokarra described it as a mini Scandallo. Well, I thought that was taking the comparison a bit too far. I mean, this club certainly has a luxe feel about it, but it's really, really small in comparison to Scandallo, and without a restaurant to boot. The entrance fee was 200 reals with 170 of that being a required consumption amount. If you take a girl to a room, then as is usual you work the price out with her, but the club also requires that you buy a 140 reals drink for each girl you take up to the room. I definitely do not like that policy, especially if you're like me and have been sitting in the boate buying a girl drinks already! The room fee at Bokarra at present is 145 reals for an hour. There are two levels to the club, with the small first floor being the main playing field. I mean it's so small that it seemed like half the people in there had to stand up due to limited seating. I'm glad I arrived early to get a seat.

I didn't see the upstairs space, which is reserved for VIP guests. Anybody can be a VIP if you agree to drop 3,000 reals to sit up there. The waiter, who spoke fluent English (and who also kept trying to push different girls off on me) said for that price it would get you all your drinks plus drinks for the girls. No thanks! Although, I did see some other Yanks head up there with some average looking tutes if you ask me. I ended up having a nice conversation with a pretty mulatta named "Cristiele" or "Cris" for short. Cris said she was 25 with one kid (showed me a pic) and get this. She said she had already been married and divorced three times! WTF? When I got up the next morning, I saw that Cris had sent me a WhatsApp message. She said that she loved me. I wondered if that provided some explanation for her 3 divorces in her short 25 years?

I can't speak for Ted, but I found the ads on P55 to be non specific and repetitive. Almost all of them stated the girls were available 24/7, and nearly none of them had prices. I felt like the ads were scripted. It's also hard to search the site with the way the ads are sorted. There was one girl I wanted to see, but I found out later the ad was outdated and she went inactive. I will be returning to Santa Catarina shortly, so if I have an update, I will likely share it. As requested in the Rio thread, I'm sharing early impressions of Floripa to help with anyone planning a trip here. Plus, some details from a trip last year which I didn't publish.

My game is usually sugar dating sites, so I hit MeuPatrocinio and Seeking a week before landing. Seeking is pretty much empty and not worth the time. MeuPatrocinio is a little better, but as can be expected from a small town, slow. Below, I share my impressions from a previous trip, IIRC 2 years ago, around April. This trip, the sugar scene was soft enough that I went to some boates.

The first I went to was called Boate 147 Premium, also across the bridge on the mainland. I found it interesting this place has a 5. 0 rating on Google. Arrived there, everyone was super friendly, music was good, kinda like a house party vibe. There were maybe 5-10 girls, none met my standards (I am fairly picky with aesthetics).

Second place was called Sex Night Floripa, also has a very high Google rating and centrally located. This place apparently has two modes, one for daytime and one for night. I went during the day, and again found nothing approaching acceptable. One of the guys there, likely the manager, was very interested in making me happy, talking to me, etc. To the point of being irritating. I ended up just leaving because the guy wouldn't take a hint. The girls were equally underwhelming as in the previous Boate.

Third place was the famous Bokarra, apparently owned by the same guy who owns Scandallo. And you can see it from the moment you arrive. The manager gave me a tour, explained how everything works, and then shut the hell up and left me alone The girls were the best looking I've seen at a Floripa boate. The only con was the place opens at 9 pm. If I was a night owl and liked boates, I'd go here again. And I still might, just to get some numbers and meet during the day.

Yeah, I wouldn't have paid. If that did happen, she could have taken the bus back for 50 reais I guess. Much slower and only runs on a limited schedule compared to a private vehicle like Uber.

Granted had I made that decision, it might have caused some conflict to say the least. Hopefully she would not have started a screaming match; which wouldn't have helped her anyway given I don't speak Portuguese. In the worst case scenario, I've heard girls do anything from pick up a sharp object in the room such as a pencil and stab the guy, to call the police and claim rape. But in this case, I told her weeks ahead of time that I would cover her trip down, and if satisfied, I would cover it back, and she agreed to the terms.

Two words of advice for you: STAY HOME.

Sorry, but I won't concede to an edict, issued by a Geritol pill chewing loser. On the other hand, for anyone who actually is looking for info, I will contribute some details.

First of all, May and June are generally not going to be good times to visit Floripa. Many of the beaches are closed for any sort of water activity due to the Tainha fishing season. A few like Joaquina beach will be open, but most will be closed. Also, May is prone to heavy rain, which doesn't mix well with out an outside temperature in the 50's or 60's. Early October is a better time, right before the tourist season begins, or early April can be good.

I checked out Private 55, but the ads seemed a bit redundant. Nearly all of them listed 24 hour availability, which I thought too good to be true for every girl on the site. Plus almost none of them listed prices, and many featured blurred faces. I wasn't able to determine how old most of the ads were, so I didn't go down that route.

The "dating" style websites produced some legit results. Oddly enough, it's difficult to find girls actually inside of Floripa. I got offers from Itajai, Blumenau, and Sao Jose, with Sao Jose technically being part of Floripa, but it's on the mainland, not the island. And yes, they will generally want you to cover the cost of transport, but Uber is cheap, and there is also an app called 99. You can bring someone on a 60 mile / 90 minute ride for less than 30 USD depending on the time of day. There's lot of girls in Parana, but it's simply too far away.

Decided on a girl in her mid 20's from Balneario, though she's originally from the State of Amazonas. She was very upfront and easy to communicate with the entire time. Though I will tell you that most girls I spoke to in Santa Catarina, actually preferred me to make the offer, rather than announcing a price. My experience was not to suggest anything less than 500 reais, as it will likely be rejected. Nor do I suggest going above 800 reais as a maximum, and that should not include the transport cost. I would not recommend speaking in dollars either, as that just opens up other doors.

So I had her picked up and brought back to my place. I did not front her any money for the ride, I just had it billed to my account, which seemed to put her at ease. It turned out to be a much better experience than I had hoped for. All of her photos were accurate, and she was very open and willing to please. But, do not expect that most Brazilians will necessarily speak or understand Spanish well. Many younger ones actually know English better than Spanish. But regardless, if you don't speak fluent Portuguese, then I would have a translator app ready. She offered to spend the remainder of the afternoon / early evening with me at no additional charge, so I took her to dinner. If you bring someone from another city, this can easily come up, because if they didn't eat before leaving, then chances are they will be hungry after a 1 to 2 hour car ride, then the activities in the bedroom.

I was so satisfied with the experience, that I paid for her return trip, and asked to see her again during my stay. I don't know if I just "lucked out" with this particular girl, but this was a better experience than I've generally had in Europe and other places.

Also, I would suggest asking about what services are and are not allowed during the session, as that will vary significantly, and I'm guessing most guys don't want surprises. Also, I had no trouble when asking the girls I spoke to verify that none of them were trans. It is more affluent than most places in Brazil to the north (actually, that could be said about all of Santa Catarina). But, since I first came here I have witnessed more affluence and more high end properties being constructed. It has had its impact. There used to be cheap brothels on the eastern edge of the pedistrian shopping district in Centro. The first few times I was here, there were college aged kids handing out those small flyers for brothels, touting a 70 reais program. Those places appear to be gone, and from what I read on GPGuia, there isn't much left in that area as far as prives. Indepedent GPS tend be on the higher end of the scale, and I should note they do have their own place, as love hotels / motels are pretty much non-existant on the island (save for one extravagent place in Centro). More exclusive areas, like the upscale beach community of Ingles has WGs in the same price range as Sao Paulo.

However, low end options do exist locally. You just need to take an cheap Uber over the bridge to Sao Jose, the very urban city across from Floripa. There are a number of prives there along with neighboring Palhoca.

However, one place that came across my radar was Belas de Campinas, in the bairro of Campinas, where the going rate was 120 per half hour. The prive was an offshoot of what was apparently well established place that used to be known as Lounge das Belas. But it has closed and this opened in another nearby location. It had good reviews on GP Guia and in particular named a few girls I decided to look out for. The place is on the 5th floor of a commercial building though the elevator only goes to the 4th floor, so you have to hike up the stairs to the 5th. There was a receptionist by the elevator on the ground floor, but when I told her which suite I was going to she just grinned and giggled. I knocked on the door, having notified them that I was coming. I am not sure if an appointment is necessary but they don't advertise their address, and will provide it via Whatsapp if you indicate you are coming. I would head to Porto Alegre later that week and found truly inexpensive prive with very nice rooms, and some very lovely girls. But, that is another story.

The room she took me to was just to the left side of the couch. A tiny cramped room with a double bed, wardrobe, lamp table and chair. Boates in both cities are expensive. Most chicks start at 500 are. As far as optics I think the chicks top out at 7. 5/10. The chicks in FLN are slightly better looking. I did cave and buy lady drinks. They range between 50 to 150 are. Bokarra had the wallet busting R150 or a little bottle of champagne for more. I didn't hire any chicks in Foz. But I took a blonde in Sex World for 500. Only lasted 15 minutes. Gave her a 20% tip. I think I only tipped half of the ladies this trip. Quality has went down in Brazil post pandemic. Unless you know where to go, if you find 8+ under 500 R you are doing good. I skipped VM this trip. The cold bug is going around Brazil.
