Not any news to me, just got myself a confirmation. Even the smallest cities in Brazil have a local brothel. I've just visited a couple of small cities in the interior of Paraiba. Cities with a population of 5000 people. Every city had their brothels. As I was visiting GFs I didnät have the opportunity to explore.

It's a smallish city, very isolated from the rest of Brazil; you can only get there by boat or airplane. No real update, just a few notes on Porto Seguro and Arraial the'Ajuda. A lot of changes the last years. It's no longer a destination for the young party crowd. Mostly excursions, couples and older tourists with money to spend. The two cities used to be heaven for gringos to get laid for free with local girls. However the majority of the few gringos are old italian guys. There are still a bunch of working girls around, but the standard is low.

My recommendation is to hook up with tourist girls (lots of mineiras) or local girls. There are some stunning darkskinned local girls. I do my afternoon running in the bairros outside of the centro of Arraial the'Ajuda. There are plenty of flirting girls. I fall in love every time I go running in Arraial. The best way to enjoy the local girls are to stay a longer time and get local friends. I have friends who I got to know 30 years ago. They are always eager to present me to nice girls.

Fernando de Noronhais a small island not far from Recife. The island is known for having the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. This was my third trip to Fernando but propably the last one. The prices on the island are absurd. Flight tickets are quite cheap, pousada for a couple cost about 400 reais and you have to pay an island tax called TPA which cost about 98 reais / day. To visit some beaches you need a ticket which cost 358 reais (brazilians pay half the price). This ticket can actually be avoided if you don't mind to sneak by some fences. There is no need for renting cars or taking tours. If you are fit you can walk around the island in less than a day.

There are some nice nightlife. Bar do Cachorro used to great but is now really boring, enter for free before 8. 30 PM after that you'll pay 80 reais. Eden is a small club with live music and great atmosphere, 20 reais entrance. There is also a reggae place. Some days there is a party in the old fort.

Restaurants are really overpriced. However there are some good restaurants where only the locals go.

Regarding women. I spotted only one local GP. Some rich tourist guys brought GPS to the island. There are many supersexy tourist girls. Many girls are models doing photo shots on the island. I heard two models speaking about how they were running out of money and needed to met guys with money.

Been in Riberao Preto a week now, and can actually do basic trip report on the situation. Riberao Preto is more or less in the Northeast corner of the state of Sao Paulo. It's close to the border of Minas Gerais, which is where much of the talent comes from (two out of the three girls I've encountered here were from MG. I was attracted to this city because I read nice things about it, saw the prices for GPS are quite low, (average is under 200, girls in the range of 130 are quite common. Really). You will see ads for girls in the 300-400 range, but these are usually stunning women who would charge lot more in SP.

RP is a center for microbreweries in Brazil, which I assumed made it worth a visit, though the brewpub tour has so far been unimpressive. Getting here from SP is easy. Take a bus from Tiete, and it's an easy 5 hour (or less) journey. Only problem is that it is kind of pricey for a short journey given that there is little competition in this market, Cometa being the only major bus line.

A bit about the town itself. The population is on lighter side, and natural blonde women are not an oddity here. After a week here I can count all the blacks I've seen on both hands and still have fingers leftover. Even less girls running ads here. If brown sugar is your thing, this is the wrong place. Fair disclosure, I'm staying in a nicer neighborhood. But, overrall this is a very prosperous city that lacks the urban blight of the capitol. The streets are safe and clean, few beggars and to be honest, not too many pedestrians, as people tend to own cars here. A local told me there is a poor section of town, somewhere. But, it's apparently out on the edge of town. Ubers are cheap, with most fares being less than 10 reais except during peak hours. Not that you can go too far in this town. While not exciting, RP is a very livable city with more than enough girls for the short-term resident.

You will find ample ads for GPS in the old standby, Photoacompanhantes. But, to get access to the whole range of girls, you need to look at other portals, specifically, Fatalmodel, Garota Com Local and the locally focused festaprive.com, plus some others I won't bother to mention. Yes, Riberao Preto has its own GP site. But, Fatal Model seems to have very good representation of the girls here.

Virtually all the GPS have their own place here, so you need not be paying for hotels. However, one of the city's big attractions for us is the famous and extravagant Kalifa Motel. (https://www.kalifamotel.com.br/). The first girl I hooked up with had a very nice house, which she seemed to have all to herself and her four miniature dogs. (Though they stayed quiet during the program.) Her bedroom was like any ordinary woman's nice bedroom, so it was a cool and comfortable experience. Everything about the place looked like a real home, not a place for GPS to work out of. The next I hooked up with, well I really want to take her to the Kalifa for a few hours if not overnight, due to her modest nightly rate.

All of the girls I did had good reveiws in GP Guia. The other two were working out of a place in a commercial district near the center, known in GP Guia as the Ponto Zen. This was apparently a massage studio, but now it essentially is a space for GPS to work out of, each room having a massage table, a futon and bathroom. I won't disclose the address of this place, as it is by appointment only (you can't walk in. Once you get in the front door have to identify the service provider before you can come inside the space). But if you see good reviews for GPS at the lower end of the price range, its a good chance that they will work out of this place. About 3 out of 4 girls who did fit that criteria did work out of that place (I've been there twice in the past 3 days.) Apparently gringos customers are rare there (foreigners are few and far between in this town). But, the woman who manages the place was pleased to have me as a guest. Credit cards are accepted (10 reais surcharge) as the manager controls all the card machines and if you pay wit a card, the girl will go fetch a card reader from her. So far, so good and the charges have all been accurate. These girls are all independents, but I think the manager is running a honest and professional operation. And both my appointments there have gone quite nicely.

There is apparently ample street action around town. However, the only visible activity I personally saw was near the center, just off of Avenida Jeronimo Goncalves as you walk toward the Praca XV de Novembro on Rua Duque de Caxias and Rua General Osorio. There are small, bars on these streets with girls outside (and inside) who will give you a knowing look, a friendly gesture or maybe a verbal greeting. There is a bar (s) and an adjacent hotel at Rua Rua Jose Bonifacio 336/338/344 with girls sitting in chairs out front. In general, none were beautiful but none were ugly, either. I did not ask a price because I doubt I could get an accurate local rate as a gringo. And frankly, I have no interest in low-end punting where decent, pretty girls can be had inexpensively. The three hour-long encounters I had with GPS in RP were less than one hour with ONE of my favorite girls in Sao Paulo once you throw in the cost of the obligatory hotel.

Caveats? Be wary of ads where the service provider describes herself as a massage therapist. They might be GPS as well. But, the low starting rate for an hour might only be for a basic, non-erotic massage. I inquired with two girls on zap, who sent me an extensive menu of their services and a full program ended up being over 300, though the hourly service of around 150, was just a basic massage. Hand jobs were extra. Oral more. Nuru extra. Full program, expensive. On the other hand, the girls I spent an hour with at Ponto Zen offered a massage or even a full body to body experience, nuru style in addtion to the basic program. If that is what you wanted. First things first, and I liked that.

Prives or other massage parlors? They are probably some here, but they didn't come across on my radar and those aren't things I look for. Thus, YMMV according to what you after.

Weather? Hot and humid right now. And when it rains, it can pour here! It can go on for hours, too. I've been caught on the street twice in a downpour, and totally drenched in once instance. Like falling into a swimming pool drenched. Otherwise this is a nice town, with very nice people.

I ended up in Maragogi north of Maceio. A small city becoming very popular among brazilian tourists. They go there for the beaches and the piscinas naturais.

Regarding P4P, I didn't see any pro's strolling along the orla. However I did see a small bar with lots of goodlooking girls. It was very obvious they were pro's. The place was very anonymous. It's quite easy to find. In centro there is a small comunidade / favela. In the middle there is a very long stair heading up. When reaching the top you'll notice the bar close to a spot where there are moto-taxis. I was in a rush to meet a regular GF so I couldn't take time to sample the goods.

Note: Be careful if going there after dark.

Maceio deserves more attention. A very pleasant city. Nice beaches and a beautiful Orla with lots of restaurants and bars. No gringos around and the girls gives a lot of attention to gringos. Stay in Pajuçara or Ponta Verde.

I heard there are some boates, but I was too busy to check them out. Some streetwalkers stroll the orla looking for customers.

Macapa-2 hour river journey to Afua at 930 am.

Macapa-4 hour river journey to Afua at 8 pm (arrive early and find a spot to install your store bought (80-120 reales) hammock.

Having no idea what to expect in AFUA. I just brought the basic items for an overnite and left the rest of my luggage in a hotel in Macapa (near equator).

Arrived and showed proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Hired a bici-taxi driver for (30 reales / per hour) as my tour guide. The place has boardwalk above the river waterline and the locals use bicycles to get around.

As this is a day trip, purchased my (60 reales) return ticket departing at 4 pm. Or choice of next day return in the morning.

Place has the obligatory football field, a short small plane airport runway and riverside boardwalk commerce. Driver indicated that around evening (after 7 pm), the tiny alleyways nearby billiard bars has rooms with garotas or garotas drinking at said bars.

Per driver: he pointed out a green house that operates as a house of pleasure in the evenings.

Unconfirmed: but driver said that in quantity about 50+ Garota de programa. Unknown quality. Prices 40-70 reales?

For the adventure minded with more time, Stay the night and let me know what you find in this hot, slow paced, river town with a lumber yard across the river spewing smoke at the smokestack.
