I don't think pure scams are prevalent outside the US, especially in smaller cities like Santiago. You can't just Venmo people in other countries so there aren't girls asking for money up front for pictures. Hands down Lima. The mongering cost is much cheaper in Lima then Santiago, and you can score some good looking chicks there. Generally speaking the Chilean girls are more European looking unlike Peruvian girls who are shorter and swarthier. However, I have been blown off a few times by Chilean girls in Santiago. My report presents my experiences during a 3 days trip to Santiago, with 2 different (and very nice) experiences. First of all, I bought an esim with a local number.
