Here are my questions.

1) Can I find in Dar El Salam a secure fully furnished one bedroom apartment with wifi in a well-served area (I think I understand that Oyster Bay and Msasani are the most suitable in terms of offering places and safety)? I think so but I don't know where to start looking and I don't especially have any idea of the prices compared to those in Mombasa.

2) What is the sea like? Could I find something like a Big Tree? Mind you, the Big Tree is not a nice place in my opinion but it rents sunbeds where I can lie down and read my book, drink my beer and swim, etc. The sea of Bamburi is not beautiful, I know. I ask what Dar El Salam's looks like to you.

3) What can you tell me about the security issue? I repeat that I stay at home at night but it is right to know.

4) Girls' prices are subjective, so who knows. But is the cost of living typically less than or more than Kenyan?

5) I'm also looking in forums other than this if there are places that can be similar "in structure" to a place like Mtwapa, going down the coast. I ask too much ha ha ha.

#1: Yes. I mostly stay in Mikocheni in Treasure Victoria Apts. Not this time in November / December since the place I rented is under renovation. Mikocheni is as good as Masaki, but not too expensive.

#2: The beaches north of the city center are dirty and the water is polluted. The beaches south of the harbour are nice and clean. But it takes 45 minutes upto 1 hour to go there by Uber. I prefer to go to the islands: Bongoyo or Mbudya. There is a nice beach in the north, a bit far: Ndege beach. Sunbeds are available at all beaches in the south. But there is nothing like Big Tree.

#3: Dar is a really secure city. Never had any problems.

#4: I pick first class girls only. Young, dark, slim, beautiful, well dressed. I usually give them 150 k TSH. Not a shilling more. 150 k are 51/60 USD. Ofc you can have cheaper girls.

#5: Correct. The outgoing scene changes constantly. You need to know locals to know where to go.

#Not much interesting activities to do in Dar.

60 USDis high for a city which does not offer much for normal tourism. Nairobi Addis or Kampala seem to have betters price-value for
acomodation.

After years and years spent in Mombasa 6 months of the year I am now starting to have doubts. I already have the ticket for January in my hand but an inner voice tells me that I'm tired but I don't want to admit it. In Mtwapa, where I spend my time, I have a comfortable situation. Nice apartment, nice gym near home, bars and dining options close at hand. Women at will for my tastes. But I know 6 months will be too long this time. And I'm thinking about Tanzania. I have read the forum well since the last 5 years (to stay current) but I have not found answers to some of my questions. I ask you for help kindly to understand if I could recreate a similar situation in Dar El Salam. Surely Dar El Salam is a huge city where it is difficult to find those corners that I can have in Mtwapa, it is certainly more dispersive, but I could find a balance. I live a quiet life, breakfast at home, then gym, beach and late afternoon with some ladies. In the evening I am usually alone out for dinner or in company. I don't like nightclubs. I'm not late at night.

Expected period in Tanzania: 3 months.

She is cute. How was her English, and how is the girl's English proficiency in general in Tanzania? One month in Zanzibar? What kept you in Stone Town for that long if you were able to score only once and with a mainland girl only?

Most girls speak a bit English. Some girls speak very good English, maximum 10%.

Compared to Mombasa there are a lot more girls. And when I compare it with Gambia, then Gambia is just a small place with very few girls.
