I was in Cartagena for 4 days, Valentine's Day weekend with my lady. At the Holiday Inn Express next to El Corral. Did not see any women there that were doable. A lot of fat butt walking around. I did my lady friend who flew in from another city in Colombia.I agree with the slim pickings, and staying with under 25. Mine were all 22-23 and took a lot of walking around to find. Planning a trip to Cartagena in mid Apr. I have been here once a long while back, and Stayed at Bocagrande for the ocean. I plan to stay in the Center, the Old Town this time. I understand that Cartagena is not the best destination in Colombia for our hobby. Bogota, Medellin, even Cali all have better venues for this purpose. Are there any "Casa" or massage parlors in the City Center or surrounding neighborhoods that provide full services? This is not a mongering trip, just want to have some fun when opportunity knocks.
Or, I will be better off going to Barranquilla to look for some action?
Flight from Panama City landed in Cartagena around 8:30 am on Thursday. Took about a hour to get through customs. Overall, Cartagena's sex tourism feels way overpriced and sketchy compared to other spots in Colombia right now. Not worth it unless you're already there for other reasons. It's a small and an afternoon is way more than enough.IMO, it was great before Obama and still good a few years after that incident. All of these spots get wack when they go mainstream, especially if they attract ratchet behavior and a bad aesthetic.

Yes, when you sign up it lasts for a month so I just cancel a few days after and and it's good for 30 days.
If you are there longer than a month then a extra $5 won't hurt while taking multiple Ubers and getting chicas Ubers. Every time I ordered Uber Comfort in CTG one of those white SUV service taxis showed up. Even a late model Toyota True comfort.

Its GEO locked by where the ride is taking place (Colombia), It is not GEO locked by where the person who is requesting the ride is (If outside of Colombia).
When I'm in Colombia I have to switch to my VISA since Uber does not allow me to use my Apple Card there and when I'm back in the States I switch back to the Apple card for the 3% cash back on Uber rides. Apple Card also gave 6 months of Uber One for free.
However, while I'm in the states I can request rides for others in Colombia and receive all the Uber One perks that was signed up for while in Colombia. They still block usage of the Apple Card though, so I have to switch back to Visa for that ride taking place in Colombia.

If the market is destroyed (I don't think it is), it was destroyed long before I landed. The price of everything in the world is going up but you expect the price of pussy to remain constant forever? What's the same price in 2026 as it was in 2016? Gas? Groceries? Rent / mortgage? A meal at a restaurant? But there is still some 150 k-200 k girls there for you. Guys in my group had a couple and they actually had decent reviews.

So if it was "x" amount of dollars for a chica to survive years ago but now it's increased to "why" amount what can she do? She can keep her same rate but take on more clients, which she really can't control. I'm sure you know they go home without making any money some days and that's not by choice. Dolce is now Santa Cattleya, next to multi floor Exito. Lots of plastic and high prices for mediocre performance.
Delirium was moved to El Bosque next to Pley Club. Desolate area, ubers don't like to pick up from there late and the taxis will rip you off if you have to get back to the tourist area.
Space Club was moved and is next to Delirium in El Bosque. Same as above.
Bronx Afrohouse is now Pretexto. Same owner as Delirium and chicas are there as well who rotate between Pretexto and Delirium via the free shuttle.

Something that might help, but not a deterrent is to book a hotel or airbnb with tight security where thy register the girl and take a copy of the ID. Security can tell when IDs are fake. Don't wear jewelry and don't flash your money.

For the dude worried about this, I would ask where you are from? I haven't been back to CTG in a hot minute, but when I was going (by myself) bros back here would tell me I had a lot of guts to do that and that they never would. I would ask plainly. Why? Statistically I have infinite more chance to be a victim of gun violence or a violent crime in the good ol US then CTG for sure. That is just a fact.
If you are scared of the scalp or women robbing you, then I would think if you are from the US you don't leave the house.
If you can learn a little Spanish, don't get trashed, pay attention to where you're at and who you are with, and if you see trouble go the other way. You will be fine. Maybe, don't be flashy, and don't be disrespectful. But if you truly live in that kind of fear, CTG probably won't be for you because that fear permeates and people see that and that is a great way to begin a self fulfilled prophecy.

Especially the hassle to get there and back, nothing as worthwhile to hangaround. Crowd and talent same as typical past Delirium and Space. Delirium each night was mostly full of hood Atlanta & Florida dude. Fights happened each night. Girls were cheap if you know what you're doing, 200-250 mil an hour but I'm not there for ghetto girls youd find in ATL. I couldn't relax, crowd was obnoxious, aggressive, and talent was bad.
Cattleya was far more chill, like old Dolce Vita. Talents not as strong as old Dolce, where they would have 25+ 8+'s, you get a revolving door of 7's but maybe 5 or 6 8+'s. If you're not in a rush, have an hour or 2 to kill you'll find what you want. Same negotiation rules. Obviously puta prices have been ruined as of late due to online / OF and simps, but you can advocate for yourself. A lot of guys offering 600+ mil up front which is absurd. I had 6 girls, avging 300-400 full service. I'm no Cassanova, just more put together & confident than the clients there. Few guys there spoke any Spanish so I benefited from the anomaly. The girls all talk about you, even while you're there, so if you do well with the first news travels. The third girl came up to me, "I heard you like gym girls" which I do, but I never saw her before. A wing man I made was a nice guy, but he got scammed by a pair of 2 hood Costeñas. Not robbed they just upsold him an extra 50% in room. Hence why I always ignore the ghetto girls.
So overall I still enjoy CTG for its simplicity in the Walled City for quick comps. But its lost its magic over recent years. MDE has more volume, Bogota has girls not dumb as rocks like paisa putas. The Costeñas I like leave CTG for traveling work.
Got a few things to share. Nothing about Chicas because that's already widely known.
El Laguito. They are redoing the lake. That grass area where they used to burn trash was completely cleared of all vegetation and now is a nicely paved sidewalk along with playground. The entire lake is walled off as it looks like they will be building a Malecon around the lake where people used to jog. I expect that restaurant on the lake is about to get a big boom.
El Centro. No more horse carriages. The carriages are now electric carriages, no horses needed. Lessens the smell and animals getting injuries or causing injuries.
Beaches. Appears that the time was extended by 30 minutes so now they kick people out at 6:30 pm.
Currently the exchange rate is 3.3 but managed to get 3.4 by the currency exchange in Getsemeni next to RD Discoteca. Others will try to give you 3.350 or 3.300.

The street by the Naval Base that is always flooded is closed off and they are digging it up and laying drainage pipe, same way they did to the entire street in Getsemani by Havana Club, RD Disco, etc. The main 3 areas that flood is in front of Plametto Sunset, In the back of Las Tres Carabelas and Hotel Caribe by the lake and the Naval Base.
I took these a few days ago. First on in front of Plametto Sunset, it never rained. Second is the billboard by the lake of how it will look.
Also the are building another Malecon in La Boquilla starting from the Airport all the way down to Boca Grande. The already got the blue bricks down by the airport area. Looks like those who like to jog or ride bikes will be in for a treat in 2027.
The buildings in Torices are going up fast too, its changing, slowly.

If your main purpose is to Scuba, save yourself the time and go to San Andres. Much clearer water, much better Scuba experience. Done it 3 times there. If Scuba is just something you will add on to another objective then it will be ok but nothing memorable.But do not go to San Andres for diving in December and January. The water is really rough in those months.

Took a 10 day trip back in May, only bc I wanted to hang w a buddy who goes there yearly. Prior to that, been few yrs since.
Arriving and knowing that this city being a pure tourist trap, I chatted with few girls on Tinder, to maybe enjoy one or two nonpros, but didn't get to meet any of them. They either cancelled, no replies or delayed replied where I myself cancelled too. With only 10 days I didn't have the patience. Booked an airbnb 3 minutes from the Airport so I wasn't in the middle of Boca grande or Centro where most dudes go. I didn't mind cause I was in a quiet residential area where I was able to enjoy some great local food, morning walks, and had an entire house with a gated yard to myself. Hot water, safe, very large units and all the girls I brought there had a good time. No guards, so I had to be my own security and made all send me their ID prior to showing up. That was the highlight of my trip and was able to relax. At first I left cheap, especially since my friend stayed literally two blocks away from playa Hollywood. But after he told me his Airbnb rate, which was 5 x what I paid. I'm like shyyytt I'm good LOL.
Dayone -- Smooth arrival around noon with no airport delay or issues, already had pesos. Quick check-in, met cool landlord who gave security brief and building is full of cams, happy. Next, linked up w buddy, quick snack, drinks, short walk to playa Hollywood from 5-6 p. That's pretty much when you want to go daily and I wasn't disappointed. The thing there now, if you go early, you'll see many girls but a huge mass arrives right around 5 p and post near the entrance to get clients. It's a beautiful show and day one I grabbed at least 20 whatsapp. Lots of turkey heads, but several 7-8's, some 9's on the right day. Most want 300, I didn't negotiate. The entire trip I only paid 300 incl taxi. Except for one girl I met outside of the tower and she took 250. The days where you could have had those centro girls for 150 k is over, but I think you can still go down to 200 if it's late and if they don't dress well.
Not going to write day by day, and detailed dick strokes by dick strokes. It's all the same. Delirium. Pretty much the only club worth going, full of chicas on Fri. / sat, good music. Buddy is funny af, dude's a bit ol skool so he carries a flask or a water bottle w liquor so he doesn't have to buy shit. Smart but the girls clocked him and call him cheap. They know him from prev trips since he comes yearly sometimes twice. So it is true that there's a network and a group that discuss the fellas. In Delirium tbh I wanted to get a table on a sat, one or two bottles and party, but my boy didn't want to split it and he prefers to walk around. I didn't like it cause I hate looking cheap plus I do love to post and drink and have the girls come to me, but I ended up posting at the bar. A girl who seen me at the beach, walked up and asked why I'm hanging w a loser, said all the girls know my friend is cheap LOL. One drink there is 125-150 k pesos, bought two diff girls a drink, plus I had two and already spent 500-600 k, which is the price of a decent bottle. So if you're in Delirium as two guys especially, make sense to just grab a bottle. Since my face isn't recognized in there, I was quoted the 2 m, then 1 m, and after I laughed and mentioned I aint new to the game, they went down to 500 k and was ok for me since that girl was a solid 8+, we danced, kissed. Passionate beautiful girl. Said was related to cartel. No need to name which here. I had a great time in Delirium. Great music, liquor, hot girls everywhere, doesn't get any better.
Another thing. At the airport from home, a couple American girls asked me for my number as they were headed to CTG. They contacted me to hang but I never got the chance to meet them. There was a group of 5 of them in the club, other ones and I talked to them. Then when I stepped outside there were more. Speaking fluent English and some where talking about the p4 p thing going on in there. That's kinna weird and sus in a way. These days they report what they see back home on social medial, passport bro this, passport bro that. I recall watching a tiktok of one of them who pretended she didn't know English, and got a bro to buy her meals and drinks thinking she was a local LOL. If you want to relax and have fun in a more secure environment, try Angeles Club or Pley Club. I visited both, Pley Club was better. On a Tues. Night, only 2 other gents, 12 girls and at least 8 of them were solid 7-9's. I fucking promise you and I didn't expect that. The one I picked was a flight attendant student, working in the club to finish school. 400 k for the HR, room incl and I think that's a fair price since those girls can compete if not better than any of the Delirium girls.
The only thing missing in Cartagena imo are cheap local spots like they have in mde and all over the country. I'm a high volume guy and love my 50 k romps in Centro Bogota or Mde LOL. That shows clearly show the locals are only in that city to work cause I asked many taxi drivers and there are none. If your main purpose is to Scuba, save yourself the time and go to San Andres. Much clearer water, much better Scuba experience. Done it 3 times there. If Scuba is just something you will add on to another objective then it will be ok but nothing memorable.
I know about San Andres and there's no mongering opportunities there. Since I need something to do during the daytime hours, I'll opt to dive at Rosario Islands even though the sites there will not be as good as in San Andres. Then at night I can do the girlie thing.

1- Many of the good chicas are now off the market or being flown out. The chicas don't want to stay in CTG anymore, its Cancun, Tulum, Jamaica, Bahamas, Punta Cana, Spain, London, or one of the other visa free countries in Europe. Its all over their Instagram feed. I even see many bothers marrying these girls that's been ran through. These working girls just posting all they business on social media.
2 - PPP Load fraud money dried up. People were at home getting paid to stay home so they had an influx of money. It wasnt going to last forever.
3 - Many cannot return to the country. Now that Colombia is tighten up their entry requirements, all those sex offenders and those with violent felonies are being denied entry. When I use to travel in a group, I learned very quickly that if someone in the group didn't have Global Entry then I will not be on the same flight with them entering a foreign country.
4 - It got played out after they turned it into Sosua, so they are in Pattaya acting a fool walking up to girls on Beach Road asking them "lady or LadyBoy" while recording them with Meta-glasses.
5 - Many of the chicas left and are now in America earning more money. I see them in Houston, Maimi, NYC, NJ, and LA.
Been going for almost 10 years now. I now know to walk the path less travelled in Colombia.

I read that the two Hotel El Viajero locations have been used as short time rooms within the walled city even though technically they are not really short time hotels but instead are small hotels which are guest friendly and do not charge extra fees as long as rooms are booked double occupancy and IDs are submitted to security. The photos of these two locations aren't bad and wondering if it might even be worthwhile to just use them as the main base hotel when staying in Cartagena instead of just a short time room and staying elsewhere.
I'm not a beach person so the locations near the playas really don't appeal to me and since all of the main touristy things seem to be in or around the walled city, I thought I might as well stay within it. Even the dive shop I want to use for a day trip is located within the walled city.
So just want to get any feedback from those who have used either Hotel El Viajeros as their base hotel.

If so, good news.I was in Barranquilla a couple of months ago and met a couple of guys who were visiting there. They told me that Cartagena is not what used to be. If you end up getting stuck there, you can always go to Barranquilla for some more laid back punting. There are plenty of buses, Berlinas, Marsol running between the two cities so getting there is pretty easy.

I was there 6 days earlier this month and couldn't have had more fun. We had a group of 3. Stayed in two separate units at the Palmetto Sunset.
The clubs downtown that closed are still closed as far as I could tell. There's still other clubs / bars open though. I didn't go in any. But there was plenty of chicas outside walking around. Playa Hollywood and Delirium had better quality chicas than what I saw in the walled city. But still, there was a lot of decent girls around for the choosing. Walled City was the same most nights, picked up a bit by the weekend. You'll see girls as early as 8/9 pm but they're in full force around 11 pm /12 am. Playa Hollywood is the place I think about the most since leaving Cartagena last. And it didn't disappoint this trip. Police were at the beach one day checking the girls for identification. I got my bag searched also. I was told the police presence was due to the president taking office that weekend. Was also told the night life would be shut down for the same reason. But we went to Delirium the night he took office no problem. Same old Delirium. Something about seeing a chica all dolled up and in her Sunday's best really does it for me. You can catch the Delirium girls at the beach if you're not into the club scene. Tinder might be the best option for some guys out there. I had over 200 matches with at least 80-100 reaching out and initiating contact. No less than 50 were responding and trying to arrange plans. I only ended up meeting one from Tinder and it was a great time. I did most of my hunting at Playa Hollywood and Delirium.
Stayed at my chicas apartment the last couple days of the trip. Went to a cockfight and some clubs out in the barrios. Never felt unsafe. Everybody was warm and welcoming. There was some beautiful women in the hood areas. Some real diamonds in the rough if you're brave enough to venture outside the tourist areas. And you'll probably get more bang for your buck. I was with my chica so I couldn't hunt like I wanted to but I got the vibe from some of them that they were open for business.
Great trip! Cartagena has everything I need in a vacation destination. Probably has everything you're looking for too. Few guys here don't like the changes that have come over the years but none of the changes / restrictions stopped my fun. Next trip to Cartagena scheduled for the end of September.
Going rates seemed to be around 200 k - 400 k for a quick one (or per hour) & 475 k - 650 k for over night / GFE.

For instance, now they are patrolling Playa Hollywood for the Venezuelan girls working to deport them. They also shutdown Kiosko 4 for a bit. Any place that have working girls around are targeted to be shut down. That's the campaign they are on now.
Aside from that, the Grand Malecon by the airport and El Laguito is almost completed, new street outside Cafe Havana was completed, lots of building restoration is coming along.

Playa Hollywood must have changed a whole lot since I was last there in 2023.I only went to CTG once but there was 1 hot paisa, several hot barranquilla chicas that was like a squad of 8, then some vennies, and some other exotic looking black chicas that were hot.
But yes there were some whales and gross girls but you see those in parque lleras too.
I would say CTG had way more variety as a whole compared to MDE. But CTG is way too hot for me, and many other factors to why I won't go back. If CTG had casas man oh man would I be in heaven.
