Since Barranquilla has a hot tropical climate most year around, it's considered as essential as in Medellin, Bogota.
If you ever want to stay at an airbnb by these Caribbean Side mfs then don't. Doorman just told me that I have to pay an additional 80,000 pesos for every guest after the first one. They rent places here and Cartagena, and they are bringing that Cartagena bullshit here. Been coming here 21 years and no hotel or airbnb has tried to pull that shit before. Hell, I even stayed in this exact same apartment 2 years ago and it was not like that.

Extra guest fees must be clearly stated before booking. So, if the doorman is taxing you for every guest after the first one and collecting it himself off platform, it may not be in line with the policy. You may want to ask the Airbnb help center. Otherwise, you can try tipping the doorman to not notice any guests after the first one. LOL!

Is there a street scene in Barranquilla? I searched the forum but couldn't find anything. Casas / spas are okay, but I kinda prefer picking working girls up off of the street. I don't mind a rougher side of town or Centro, etc. I speak a pretty decent conversational level of Spanish (between B1 and B2) and have been studying for 3 years. I've been to a bunch of places already in North / South America as well as Asia. Maybe I prefer the street scene because I enjoy the negotiation LOL.
