I just got back recently for my first trip to Manila and I am leaving again in a week for my second trip. This forum was very helpful to say the least. I got a flat on Air be&be that was a real bargain but it was in Pasig and not real close to much except where I was working. Often crowded, not sure hanging around malls is the best use of your punting time unless you're young & gwapo in which case just stsnd still, they will come to you. Nearby to MOA is several tourist attractions and of course the infamous EDSA complex of P4 P bars. Victoria's Secret right across the road from EDSA is the definitive love hotel. Next door is Heritage. It's a run down place but still charging big dollars. I'd recommd get a condo near MOA for longer stays, much nicer.

You probably mean Victoria Court. Also, the original poster was looking for a "cheap hotel" in addition to his main accommodation.

I have used and can recommend this hotel. I've used it for late night airport arrivals and early morning departures.

There are also other hotels in and around that area that offer low cost rooms.

Flight from Air Asia from Cebu to Manila right on time. Lands at Domestic Airport. This is uncongested and no lines for taxi. Taxi to pavilion casino hotel. Nice room although dated, Not as nice as Mandarin in Cebu. Called my contact from DIA and she came right away. Nice friendly girl. I think you you have not followed the many advices people give you in this forum.

1. Always lock up your wallet, I pad, I phone, passport in the safe deposit box.

2. Walk around with local money only plus maybe a $100 dollar bill in case you need more money.

3. Never trust anybody. Even if you have been with a girl repeatedly.

4. Girls take every advantage if you are careless. They know police will not chase anybody unless you are bodily harmed.
