Yes, financially it would make sense to travel to their country to get it cheaper. But its more feasible for me cause I have my work and house and contacts and girls already established in DR and live there for a good period of an year.
Moreover, every time you crave for Chinese or Mexican food, would you travel to China or mexico to eat the food cause its cheaper in China or mexico? But, what if I wanted to try them every weekend or during the week, its not feasible for me to travel to Colombia.

In addition, every country offers different things like beaches, Caribbean rum and lifestyle and sun and everything while Bogota is cold and more city landscape and I got it associated with work.
