This out things in another perspection!

I was not suggesting you raise the price levels but simply you were paying a lot (=out of your pocket) and that (similar, somehopw, of course) level of girls can be obtained for much less (I am not suggesting 1000 here.)

If you can get back the major part of the bill, then it is like buying a Mercedes at the price of a Golf: do it! .

But if you pay out of your pocket a Mercedes to drive 10km, then rent a Golf.
He must work for the government? As long as its not your money who the f-ks care?

While I do watch my expenses and do not waste money, I also travel at a business class level. I pay a bit more for an upgraded seat on the airplane. If there is a club floor at my hotel, I book it. And I rarely stay anywhere without a club floor.

When it comes to mongering, I am in it for the variety of experiences. I have had a 200bht for a full afternoon GFE romp in Chinatown in BKK. I have spent well over $5000 US for a couple hours at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada with one of the stars of their TV series.

I will pay a price that is appropriate to the occasion. I rarely argue about price. If it is unreasonable, I just pass. She probably would not be worth it anyway. But if it is within the range I am willing to pay for the experience offered, then I go for it. And if she really makes me happy, I tip well.

For the most part, I am paying right at the going rate for the given venue. I am experienced enough and know what I am doing and don't tolerate obvious rip offs and scammers. But sometimes you just see something that makes you say,"Damn, I'd give anything for some of that" and you pay it. That is what making money is all about. Using it to enjoy life.
HANA / RIN

Rin has many fans in this forum, and since I never had a balls massage before, I felt I should try her services.

Hana Massage is located in a side alley along soi 22, about a 5/6 minute walk from Sukhumvit on the left side, almost opposite the Mercure hotel.

Even by the often low Bangkok standards, this parlor may induce you to do a quick about face:

- as you can see in my pic below, the alley is very nondescript and poor looking.

- as I approached the shop a mangy dog, who Rin was tending to, started barking at me.

- Rin as reported is not young, difficult to tell, could be 40 to 60 years old.

- I wasn't offered a drink or anything.

- the room where the massage took place was extremely small and cramped.

But then Rin starts, and by the time she's finished your legs have turned into jelly, for just 1. 000 baht all inclusive. It may not be something I'the want to do regularly, but this was definitely a hand-job from heaven.

Funny bit: upon asking, Rin explained that it was an old white guy who taught her!
Rin 40 to 60? I would say at least 50 by now. I haven't seen her in about 4 years and haven't seen her mentioned here in quite a while. You should have fucked her. She has some good pussy!
Thank you for all the opinions. Special thanks to LBM for standing up for me (somewhat.). BTW, I said 4000 min = USD140. Its different matter that I ended up paying 6000. 4000 is absolute minimum I heard from the ladies there, the ones I talked to atleast.

I have been to Bangkok many times and I know girls are available from 1000bht onwards, although some guys seriously disagree.

I have been to Soi Cowboy and picked up a 21/22 yr old spinner for 2000 overnight. No one can accuse me of inflating prices there.) Maybe I paid market prices though.

I wanted to try a different place like Spassos, CM2 which is not too much reviewed here. Other forums also mentioned 4000min at Spasso.

Why did I choose Spasso? I do have an expense account and can claim drinks for myself as well as the girls. I cannot give the company bills from Soi Cowboy or Nana for obvious reasons. I don't have to spend on lady-drinks, bar-fine etc. In Soi Cowboy, my expenses were around 3500-4000 including drinks for myself, the ladies, bar-fine etc.

Also, I do not pay for my air ticket to Bangkok. Its on company business.)

Lastly, there is no set standard for paying for the girls. Its upto each punter. But I do have a major problem with taxi drivers who behave rudely and ask for exhorbitant fares when you get into their taxis. If they ask for a tip politely after the journey, I have no problem giving it.

No offense taken, I have followed the Bangkok forum for long and it has helped me make my trips more fun. Although the Spasso adventure is the first I posted about. Thanks.

McM
4000 baht isn't a minimum when rent is due and there aren't enough punters around willing to pay those prices. Once people get that into their heads things change real fast.
. Not a flame. Pay what you like. But when I am giving the same girl 1, 000THB for longtime (I speak Thai and have lived in BKK for longtime w / company owned condo). I have to listen to a story about how I "know too much". How there are farangs paying 6, 000THB. I always thought the girls were full of shit. And were saying this just to play me for extra money. Now I know the truth. Thai girlz don't always lie!
Lover Boy has it spot on, I live here and speak Thai too, and have heard this from the girls over and over. And I've even had the girl call herself foolish for going with me when I pay only 1000 and she is a hottie normally getting 2-3000. And then she jumps back into bed or gives me her number and asks when she can see me again. There are no tricks involved. You just start to realize that there are so many hot and fantastic providers here that you don't have to pay inflated figures to, and if they are the ones asking for it, you just walk away and find another. Then again, some people think that by spending $100 for a meal, that the restaurant must automatically be good.

I'm new to Bangkok (and actually new to Asia) and will be visiting in about a week. Lots of helpful info in this forum, so thank you.

I'd like to ask if anyone can recommend a good private guide that I could hire to help show me the Bangkok Nightlife. I'm ideally looking for a local who knows his way around, can help me waste time, and can help avoid getting ripped off by taxis, bars, girls, etc.

Has anyone used such a guide? Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Luvpuss, in all respect I think you're need to be right have gotten you to loose perspective as to what the guy wrote?

I'm sure you can in SoCal but here in NoCal one can but I'm sure if they look hard enough and long enough? They say anything is possible right?

As you noted yourself " if you know what site " and when you look at those sites you have a particular price and look for those sites and if you were looking at the high end you would find high end prices right? I understand fully that you don't go to Thailand to pay those prices but this endless conversation whether we like it or not always comes up and the price police can attest to the many conversations in the past and will be again in the future. But reality is that many do and many will pay what they want haven't we heard that before? But again in your own words " almost three hours " I believe he got more than that?

His post clearly stated where he was going and what he wanted " Highend " is that too much to accept. The drink prices had my mouth drop too but he went in with a intend not to pay a particular price at this specific location. He wasn't standing outside Nana parking lot intend on paying that price. He had many opportunities but the price was too high and he settle on what he felt was reasonable for this place. I live by the motto, best bang for your buck and if I had the means this place and price would be relative to the situation. Is that too hard to understand? If he had wrote that he paid that amount for a FL on Sukhumvit I wouldn't be siding with him and agreeing with you?

Now if you think you can visit Spasso the next time you are in town and want to apply the same price structure you normally pay please do and let us know how it goes? If you can get a lady to stay for more than 3 hours at this place for your price structure please let me know so I can visit myself and then retract what I have written and throw in that he is a fool for good measure.

LBM
I never go to places like Spasso or even gogo's because I know there is the same out there for much less. I would bet that if he wanders about for a week of so and negotiates some 2k LT's, he will look back on the Spasso experience as one he would not repeat.

Need to be right? I know I am right in that there are 1000's of girls in BKK that will give you GFE LT for 1/3 of what he paid.

Does this make sense? : Let's say you went into a steak house and paid $60 for a prime steak. The next day you walked around the corner and got the exact same steak for $20. It would be pretty foolish to go back to that $60 place, right. Most normal dudes would probably say "I wish I would have found this place yesterday".

It appears to me that you may have lost perspective as you are patting the guy on the back for paying triple what he needs too for the same service.

I avoid pretty much avoid all places except go go bars for this reason. There a been a few times where I have paid a girl, and ended up not touching her. Same thing at the massage places, a few girls have really hot bodies. But most of them look ok, in a push up bra and mini skirt.

There are woman at the high end night clubs quoting these steep prices, that could not be on a stage somewhere else.

There are so many guys around defining their fun by the amount of money they throw around. So Spasso is the place for them that protects the other places for the rest of us. The real bargains need to be protected for those who can appreciate them.
I don't know where you guys monger in the US. I had a GFE session yesterday here in Socal for almost 3 hours for $200. I can get that all the time here if you know what sites to find them on.

I don't go to Thailand to pay those prices when I can get that service there for 1/3rd the cost.

I bet most guys feel the same.

But, to each their own. It is your money. Have a blast.
I've never mongered in the USA but in Canada I can get a P4P SW lady for $10 {300 baht}. She'd be a drug addict, ugly, and probably have HIV and / or another STD. This would be in a relatively dangerous neighborhood compared to what I experience in Thailand.

In Canada it would be tough, if not impossible, to get 3 quality hours for $200 to $300 from a hot classy SP. That would be a common price for one hour.

In Thailand I figure that I'm paying at most 33% of what I'd pay in my home country for the same kind of girl. So if I stay long enough and take TGs often enough, the savings I get from pooning here in BKK more than covers the extra costs of airfare and hotel that I wouldn't pay if I stayed at home. The inconvenience of all that's involved in travelling is countered by the ease of picking up girls in Siam compared to the other side of the ocean. Moreover I think the kind of female I can get in LOS is more to my taste in looks, attitudes, and service.

So, not surprisingly, when I'm not in the Kingdom, I mostly take care of my own sexual needs, alone, and save up for my next trip across the Pacific to the City of Angels. That is where I see the value in shopping when it comes to the services girls can provide. Sometimes I wonder if spending it elsewhere is like flushing my money down the toilet.

I only buy aged prime which is expensive but readily available and because it is always exactly the same, consistently excellent! That's what I want in asteak – the same every time. Women though should not be all the same all the time. That undesireable trait in a steak is exactly what I'm looking for in a Thai lady. Something new! Its easy to find the same slam bang little monkey with no emotions no English, etc. And that's fine ocassionally (and better in bunches) but variety is why we're all here. We could all be married (most anyway) banging the same cooch over and over but that would be hell. Maybe he finds some qualities in the women he meets in Spassos that he does not see on the street in Nana (go figure) and maybe any number of things but in the end its his time and his money. A lot of us have made our money already so to suggest that he will regret it the next night I believe is not accurate. I AM CERTAIN he's never looking back at that C-Note...

Luvpuss,

Not padding his back, I / We all understand you can find steak at other location but the question was and still is, since you never and I have never been to Spasso if you ever went to a place like this can you use your standand to obtain a lady for the night not 3 hours? Not padding his back again, as far as he was concern he was looking for a high end piece of meat and he went to Ruth Chris (Spasso) not around the corner to Sleazlers.
