Here some photos as from Hotel Casablanca, Praia do Iracema, Fortaleza. Its Michelle and a girlfriend of her. This is from 2005.
These photos was very unsharp due to some lensproblems, and not good to look at. I have tried my best to make them viewable, but I am not a pro.
As always, Michelle is a lovely girl, just funny. Her girlfriend was, well OK and polite, but not exactly my type, she was a little hardened.

If you speak fluent portuguese( this is more than half the battle ), forget about your skin color. You will have a problem not finding one of these :)
If you speak the language, you might have to pay at first, but if you are respectful and fun as well as speaking the language fluently, you will probably get alot of freebies as well as having a decent shot with a non-pro depending on how much game you have. Good luck, and be safe. Laters!

I also agree that Portuguese is not necessary here but it definitly enhances the experience. There will be a lot of dead time with your girlfriend while recharging if you do not speak Portuguese.

As You can understand, I soon travel for Fortaleza. I must admit I look forward to this. To be honest, I have problems with concentrating doing my job, when I am thinking of all the fun as have been, and the new fun those following weeks :-) All the time i am looking thought old files in the computer, and reading from what I can about Brasil in the Internet. Its like some kind of a fever ...
About these photos, they are from my old mobiletelephone. Actually I sold the phone to a friend/client, and by a mistake these photos was left in the memorycard. After a short while, the phone was again sold to a trainee in his workplace. Then after a few years, we sat down and have a beer together in Amsterdam. Then he show me those photos from his cellphone; mine photos of My Girl, My Michelle ! Small world !
One or two are posted from before (1&2), nr 5 is partly unsharp, sorry for this, but I like them so much, and I think they belong together.

During my last visit (which was also my first!) to GIG, I went to Help 4 nights in a row. The first night I was just overwhelmed with the variety.
