Higher end girls can be ST 2000 baht / LT 3000 baht.

Lower end (streetwalkers) you can get 1000 baht short time as a general rule.

And that is that. If you are paying more than that then enjoy paying more for what others pay less for, or start negotiating.

Thanks for the help.[/QUOTE]The Marriott is very close to freeway exit. Therefore its best to take taxi and pay the freeway tolls in order to get there as quickly as possible (light traffic late). Price should be just under 300 Baht including Airport 50 Baht surcharge but excluding toll gates.

I avoid the 50 Baht by going upstairs to Departure level, so costs me less than 250 Baht (excluding tolls). Pick up a taxi that is just dropping off customers. Then there is no queueing for the taxi too and they are usually very happy to get a customer so meter use is no problem.

We probably lost the key minutes since police busted my taxi driver at departure. Poor guy had his licence taken and be collected later paying a fine. We have lost some 10' in the paperwork.

Departure level taxi row is flooded by police.

They seem to stop the action every now and then to show they are there.

Last time I took a taxi from arrival and fare wasaround 300 including the 50baht airport fee, plus tolls.

This 50 baht fee is weird. It is for no worth or service.

There is a taxi attendant filling a sort of meaningless form (hey, this is not buenos aires where taxi drivers rob you) , and click that's the reason for the fee.

If you read the airport authority sign it days is not compulsory.

You enter the taxi and a sign says "must pay".

Guess what wins?

Got hair cut, pedicure, manucure, ear cleaning, face shaving. Did not have private parts shaved on that occasion, don't know if they do it. But most likely.
