Both occasions the manager went away and came back 5-10 mins later with a pen and paper and wrote a figure 100mop higher on the paper than the quoted price on the menu. Both times I paid cash MOP, but this was settled on exit. There was no mention of a service charge (and even if there was, this was closer to 10%)

The service included a pretty thorough massage and 2 'pops'. I was happy to pay the extra, but the extra charge wasn't explained. I wanted to ask the 2nd manager, but his english wasn't that great. The first girl in particular was up for everything that I requested, which is why I went the repeat visit. Second girl was more attractive, but I would have loved a repeat with the first one.

Although I had different outcomes at Rio and Emperor. Once the (Chinese) masseuse, sort of a hardened one, did not want to grant the HJ (and she upsold a visit in my room at the end of the shift). Bad sign was the bed, typical massage high bed.

Other two times had sweet vietnamese girls (I usually do not trust them when it is time to take them as FL at Beach Club in KL, for instance, or OT in Singapore (I know, YMMV) : one was was up for each and everything nearly from the start. The other one conducted the masage in a proper way and the well over half the alloted time she deliverd a BBBJ / HJ (keeping her panties on)

The main issue is the communication with the managers and how vague and cryptic the price lists are.

Just trying to figure what the +100 could be? Price adjustment from the printed list? Adding their own tip? Any silly add on (sometime they try to upsell something insignificant or useless, as the milk extra. 300MOP. When you take the 60' soapie) Not a big deal indeed, but I agree, it is a nuisance.

There was no upselling at all, or at least nothing that I can think of to quantify an upsell. Both times I was offered a drink on my way to a room, but nothing to justify the $100 mop. What also had me is that the $100mop was tacked on before I met with the girl and well before the time that I settled the bill. It is more for my own curiosity. I still think this is westerner tax and I've read others in this forum getting a similar service at the same venue for $700mop, but do not know if they had vouchers, were club members, etc.

Given that I was hit with it twice by two different managers, surely I am not the first to experience this hidden charge and I'm suprised that this hasn't been mentioned on these forums before.

I didn't know that Rio and Emperor had a similar deal price wise, and kinda regret not trying Rio on my last day, that being said, am still happy with my 2 experiences and would definitely repeat.

I happened to visit Rio Spa last week. It was exactly the way the members described it would be. Amazing interiors and classy facilities. The staffs in general were very courteous. They have great selection of food and beverages.

Once you are done with the routine of shower and option to choose one of shower girls to wash you up, you are guided into the lounge.

The lounge chairs are extremely comfortable, with not too much selling for additional services like ear cleaning, head and shoulder massages going around.

Ambience is out of the world. Showtime is announced by few girls walking around with bells and interested punters can go to the first floor for choosing.

They have an amazing lineup, I was there around 8p. M and they had good selection of Chinese, vietnamese girls, few koreans and one Russian. Was tempted to take the Russian but again as senior members have suggested went with asian choice, the Russian also did not show great enthusiasm.

Choose no. 115, forgot her name, pretty face with nice rack. She is petite much to my liking. The company was out of the world, though I could not speak a word of Chinese, she was trying to communicate all the time, went through the routine of shower, cat bath, fir and ice BJ, tongue licking and sex in all positions, I finished in doggy and she massaged my back for remaining ten mins.

Totally worth the experience. Total damage was $2049 hkd.

Not sex, but good (most of the time) professional massage with some attention to your privates. What Switched bought sounds like what is by many saunas referred as "freestyle". What that means is that you do not pick the girl, but the management allocates one to you, but it is about full sex etc. In return for not picking out of a lineup you get lower price and longer time as opposed to picking from a lineup.

Rio in its heyday had the best lineup in Macau. I was a little disappointed with it when I was there in February. There was a deficit of really hot Chinese girls. I ended up picking a very cute Thai girl and she showed me a good time, but I come to Macau for the Chinese girls. I can get all the Thai girls I want in LOS.

Yeah I basically went there with mind setup of enjoying the facilities and was ok with choosing from limited girls available. Man I was blown away by the quality of Chinese girls (I can compare it to my experience in east and sanado). I could easily spot a min of 6-7 really hot Chinese girls.
