East China - Shanghai

Google the vadalia package and download it. Then get the tor button add-on for firefox. Vadalia lets to connect to the tor proxy network. It'll by bypass the usual problems with using proxys in the China firewall by using bridges from users around the world. Works fine for me. Just connect to the tor network form the vadalia program and then hit the tor button on the bottom right of your firefox browser. Its slower, but it works.
well... witopia's VPN does not work for me, and their customer service just stopped responding to me.

They gave me access to the PPTP service, which I am using right now for ISG. but I can't get to facebook with it.
There is a hotel called La Casa which is a bit of a Love Hotel type deal out on Yan An Xi lu. I used to take my GF there regularly when lacking a suitable shag pad and it was pretty reasonably priced and the VIP suites have the fuck chair you describe.

Bit of a novelty but I wouldn't get too excited over it. Worth a crack.

Enjoy,
.

Here's my questions:
1) The girls told me G18 used to have the famous fuck chair but has been taken apart (probably after a LE visit). Does anyone know another place with it?
2) Aside from 999, where would you recommend for a soapie place with comparable price and selection?

Cheers
Customer service at Witopia only told me to buy the SSL plan at more than twice the price ($69.95/year). I also have the PPTP service ($39.95/year) with similar results as you. ISG is OK, but not facebook. It seems Fisherman has the SSL service.

Some mates have recommended Strong VPN but this is even more expensive than Witopia.

-BL
I have been to several love hotel with the fuck chairs. They are great. I remember this one hotel "East Ocean", I believe somewhere near CP, it looks like the one you see in the ad section in one the the men's mag. One time, I had one ontop of me while the other one was pushing her tits in my face. What a way to go, dying of a heart attack in one of those chairs.

Every hotel room should have one of those recreational chairs.

Just my two rmb on this. I only wish that I have one of these chairs at home, but would have a difficult time telling wifey how I learn about those apparatus.

Customer service there sucks and it's not cheap - same problem for me accessing Facebook as well. Might be best to source a free VPN and use that for ISG.
Thanks especially Nightwing, Shiva and Contex for excellent information I plan to explore as a Christmas gift to wo ziji right now.

Best wishes to all mongerers!!
Test just a test sorry all

Hi there,

first of all thank you all for contributing to this forum.

I am coming to Shanghai 29 dec - 5 jan and I would like to visit some places for sauna and "good level"/"right price" extra services.

I read some of your good reports. I am only concerned about directions. I heard that taxi drivers don't speak or read english and I don't find directions from the underground so it would be hard to find the places you described.

In particular, I may wish to visit

Heting Elite
Golden 18
1856 Nanjing Lu

Could you help me with directions or suggest other places?

Thank you all

v tunnel works for me here in China.

All areas.

Just my experience.

Is the Sauna at the Shanghai hotel operational?

Any sauna with the red rope still open in Shanghai?

Thanks in advance

I find the UK servers for the fastest service for ISG with WiTopia and have also set up the DNS server settings to bypass the Chinese one.
From the WiTopia site.
"Your ISP may be blocking you using their DNS (Domain Name system) WiTopia provides DNS service for its customers and we recommend you take advantage of it to maintain complete privacy and for best performance."

see the FAQ to set up the DNS manually. This improved the performance heaps for me. I also noticed they have a Hong Kong server as well now must try that.

Thanks Jamie. I didn't realize Witopia has a server in Hong Kong now. I have been using it for about three years and have had no problems (so far). Customer service been fast to respond. Perhaps they are getting so much business they are letting service slide?

Hi, scroll back a few pages and you'll find a post mentioning SH sauna is legit now. Pity.

I am aware VPNs are more difficult to shut down than proxies, but why take any risk?

Just IMHO

...a friend! just tell her a friend told you about it! That is what friends are for.
On the other hand in social conversation we always say a friend told this and that..such things as Shangai has saunas...etc etc..:)
