I was wondering if folks could offer best options for mongering on Sundays in Rio. Aren't most thermas closed on Sundays? Centro-based casas?

Actually, you need to find more than one.

Nothing better than bringing a gringo home who dresses up well and speaks Portuguese.

Your best bet for Sundays is to get some numbers during your weekly adventures. Offer a day at the beach or lunch and not just bang bang. During the week your temporary love is working at the mall, call center, in an office so her family expects her home on Sunday (Saturday is often a work day). If she isn't then she might be visiting a friend. Hello, friend.

Being in tune with the need to create this illusion is key to having some Sunday fun. Taking her away from her family often requires more than money. Be aware of her home life situation and be flexible.

One of things that seems to shock a lot of guys new to Rio, is many of the girls have girlfriends. Some know what they do to pay the rent, others don't. The jackpot is when she feels comfortable enough with you to invite her girlfriend to join in.

The longer your stay, the easier a lot of this becomes.

Thanks![/QUOTE]Mongering options in Rio on Sundays are, in my experience, very limited. All the prives and termas are closed, so the only ones left are escorts, Villa Mimosa, and a couple of bars like Florida Bar and perhaps Mosaico late at night. Your best bet is to line up someone from the prives or termas for a Sunday visit if you can.

However, even without help, reading this forum would have given you sufficient information to plan better and have a more fruitful visit. You would have learned that the prives are where the action is during the weekdays (and also on Saturdays in Copacabana and Tijjuca), so you would have gone there during the day on Friday and Saturday. On Friday evening you would have gone to a terma in Centro (or Centaurus since you wanted to see it), a Copacabana terma or Villa Mimosa and Mosaico on Saturday night, an escort or two on Sunday since there are few other options that day, and then another prive or terma on Monday.

I think if you make another trip to Rio after having done more research on this site (and getting some help from other posters on this site) and [URL]gpguia.net[/URL] and [URL]gparena.net[/URL] and making a more knowledgeable itinerary you will discover why Rio is such a good place to monger.

Rio is what you make it. You have to put in the work. It is actually more rewarding.

The Termas are not what they used to be but are still good recruiting grounds and good times can still be had. The Prives and clinicas are too good not to pass up although a bit more pricier than Medellin you cannot beat the Brasiliera sex performance goddesses in Rio. Here is an updated list of a few I scouted in late March- may be helpful to those not in the know. Don't hold me to the prices.

The good news is that most of the privées on the list are the most wellknown.
The even better news is that the list doesn't mention any gems.
The bad news is that a few privées on the list are privées that needs a lower profile not to be ruined. The lurkers will ruin them shortly.

I would be more happy if the lazy mongers who doesn't want to share info or do any homework or footwork would only go the the Termas, Dudas, Bel Prazer and U24/Carioca 59/VM. I've learnt my lesson, when finding a really good privê the right thing is to keep it to yourself or just exchange about it by PM.
