K. Club or Knight sounds accurate
I think that is the place you are talking about, it used to be a strip club. In fact, they still have girls dance on the pole once an hour. Its right next to an abandoned spot that used to be a social club for Ghanians, Perfect location for a new Club Help!
Jimmy Boy and Bravo,
You're both right, I think. For some reason, I recall seeing the letter "K" lit up somewhere inside. What struck me is that we were enroute to Mabs and one of the K-club (let's go with that for now, until someone get's the name confirmed) waiters / doormen in a shitty tux was passing out flyers and directing a fair number of girls to the club.
Whether its under new management or something, I don't know, but to see Brazilians actively marketing outside of Centro is a good sign.
Jimmy Boy's also nailed the pricing. Girls start asking for 3-400, but can be had for under 250. If you speak no Portuguese, expect to get a quote for 500, which is pretty standard everywhere in Copa, but you shouldn't have to pay anywhere near that.

Balcony's Former Location
There is a new restaurant in the space in which we previously knew as Balcony Bar. I never saw it during the day but walked by late while seeing what the night had to offer. The space is now home to a restaurant & grill named Immaculata. I haven't heard anyone mention it, not even the girls in Copacabana but while online just now, I did see it on TripAdvisor (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g303506-d9757852-Reviews-Immaculata-Rio_de_Janeiro_State_of_Rio_de_Janeiro.html) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/immaculata1424.
The FB page shows it as opening from 11:00 hs to 01:00 hs.
Best Brazilian Steak House?
Okay, I was originally going to only ask about the best Brazilian Steakhouse in Rio (as in Texas de Brazil style, keep bringing out meat to you), but now I've got to ask. What are your top five restaurants to bring a girl (puta or non-puta) that the inkling of an invitation would drop the panties (for civilians). What are the three nicest clubs / lounges that the non-pro, semi-pro, younger crowd hangs out? I remember going to Cero Cero during one trip which had a nice atmosphere, good for people watching. Any others?
Thanks in advance!
