I know this is a mongering forum but I had a question. With the recent spike in pesos to dollars has there been any effect at the local level? You know, other than making it a better deal for those going from dollars to pesos.

I'm debating the membership. After this week I'm back in the US for the forseeable future, so I'm not sure if I'll realize the value of this site until I do some more intl. Travel. I wish I found this site sooner.

At the recommendation of another poster, I WILL be going to the Crue concert tonight (thanks for the tip! ). Maybe afterwards I'll be feeling adventurous enough to head to Infinitos.

The SC's have always been a better deal if you are looking for more than the short time, quick pop, and you are a frequent vistor, or living in Monterrey....As someone recently put it, it is the "unregulated" environment that surpasses all other venues.

Costs in general are going up, up, up...In addition, we are ALL getting older, as the girls get incrementally younger. Younger girls, older dudes, higher price. If it seems that the SC venue is all of a sudden offering better opportunities, it is more likely that the effects of ones personal expertise is driving the costs down. The fact is, the girls are actually quoting higher prices to the average visitor, not lower prices. If lower prices are being quoted by the girls, it's the ability of the monger himself that drives that scenario.

I have ALWAYS, for almost eight years, received the longest number of hours from the SC girls, often todo la noche, and sometimes at unbelievably low prices, like 500-800 pesos, plus the salida fee for the bar, typically 300-350 pesos.

Another thing that I've found to be true is that once I've had them back to the hotel the first time, they realize they have lost their novelty, and they scramble to maintain me as a regular customer.

They do this for two reasons. First, they get to leave work, make about the same as they would make were they doing privados, and they get to relax, depending on the kind of environment you offer them.

The second reason is, they do not get to do that many salidas. Clients that treat them nicely, and take them on salida, especially on a regular basis, are a novelty to them, and not only a novelty, an ego boost. They don't want to lose your attention, so they will offer their services at reduced rates to support their own egos, and maintain the cash flow.

Case in point: Most recently, a girl that I had originally paid 1000 pesos the first time, went for the second time at 800 pesos. The first time, she was in the room for 2 hours. The second time, I picked her up at 12am and she did not leave until 6am, 6 hours, apparently realizing too late that she had almost stayed past her bar's closing time. I have one girl that I have known for at least 6-7 yeasrs. She goes with me for nothing...always anticipating payment of course, and getting paid, of course, but staying all night, and giving herselt to me completely, GFE style.

USB makes it sound easy... it ain't.

USB has the benefit of knowing the girls but he keeps losing track of them (one rule in my book is NOT LOSING TRACK), but he feels at ease cause he's been to Monterrey many many times.

Another USB benefit is that he walks into the club as a regular customer.
The girls notice this and that's when they turn on their radar.
Of course USB doesn't tell you that for over a year he did not have alternate choices.
He has them now after ElCabron and me kept pressing him for I don't know how many months to look for more choices and new choices too.

USB has this new set of choices cause finally he has paid attention to me, not to look like a cheapskate gringo.
He now entertains several girls at the table with a business like attitude and the girls understand that.

Any new comers to Infinito beware: the place WILL overwhelm you on your first visit.
I've seen Americans come in, stare at the place and the girls, the action and what's going on at the privados and they just up and leave cause they don't get the place.

Phlmonger: Night shift at Infinito (no "s" at the end) is a toughie. Girls are tough and rough, no comparison to the afternonn girls that we deal with.
I would have suggested Pasarelas, Harem or Casino.

By the way, hopefully, you will be taken to Infinito.
Taxi drivers tend to be hit with amnesia, pretend they don't know the adress or the club and will drive you to clubs where they get kickbacks.
If it doesn't work that way, you will be taken to Obsession or Prestige.

All the tips and info here have been valuable. After the Crue concert tonight, my work colleague from Mex City wanted to go to Obsession. I was lukewarm on it, based on what I read here, but at least I knew what to expect. He advised against Infinito for me, so I might have to try that one another time. I was hoping to find a place that the band would be hanging out, given their notorius penchant for strip clubs.

I thoroughly enjoyed Obsession, despite paying more than I would have elsewhere (yet far less than I would have paid in the states and without anything close to FS). It was definitely MUCH MUCH better than my prior night at Reno. I had Heidy (her real name. I've already forgotten her stage name). We first did a 15 minute private room dance for. $600. But I knew there was more, so after that I did the full hour in the even more private room with a locked door for. (don't chastise me) $2050. Look, I know I could have gotten cheaper in other places, but I really liked this venue. Actually, I really liked my experience with HER. But I also know I'll do some comparison shopping and $2600+ isn't a HUGE sum of money to lose in a research mission like this. Especially with the US Dollar at 12 pesos or so.

Heidy made my entire hour worth every penny, though. Nothing was rushed, and nothing was off limits. I would frankly love to go back to see her if it weren't so darned expensive.

Now having been to a rip off joint (Reno), and an 'upscale' joint (Obsession), I'm ready to take it down a notch or two and try something more along the lines of Infinito or Signor. It was not my intention to make it sound easy...as you said, the salida scene isn't an easy one to make everything come together according to my preferences. I don't mean that you can't walk into the bars, pay the salida, and not take a girl out of the clubs. That is easy.

What is difficult is finding girls that give more than what you can routinely find in the MPs, ie: time, and legitimate GFE, for about the same price, or even less. With me, it is always about time spent...amortization is the key word. MPs are the low end bench mark with respect to cost versus time because it's a controlled environment.

As I said, if anyone realizes all of a sudden that they are starting to operate efficiently in the SCs, just as well as if they were in the MPs, it is their own expertise and their own open mindedness as to the possibilities. I have beaten that MP cost factor so often through SC girls in the past that I simply can not, myself, partake in the MPs. I don't mean that as a slam to MPers, just that I have found such a better value out of SC girls that to settle for MPs is more expensive for me as it relates to quality of my preferred experience.

I accept that what I like isn't what everyone else is looking for. To some, they can not get rid of the girls soon enough after screwing them. My preferences are different in that I enjoy the interaction, the intamacy over time, the friendship, the lessons learned in Spanish, etc...

The ocassional or one time visitor simply doesn't have the luxury of time like the regular visitor or resident Regio. I do not have the luxury of time that the locals have, and I am severely limited by that. If I lived there, I would undoubtedly be foolishly smitten and married to one of them, if not ceramoniously, then certainly with respect to common law commitments :P

Fact is, I actually know a monger that used to visit Monterrey from the US, and he moved to Monterrey eventually. Eventually, over time, after playing the salida scene for a while, he did meet a girl at Matahuela, married her, and is living happily ever after there in Monterrey. She is probably in her early thirties by now, and he is in the range of retirement age, then and now.

So, when I hear that ALL girls have no interest in older men, I know from my own first hand experiences, and also from my knowledge of other mongers, that the GFE knows no real boundries if you find the right "kind" of girls. Some have no interest in older men, it's true, the majority certainly. But, some have a lot of interest, and not just financial interest, which is certainly a "security" component, but also emotional, romantic, and carino interest as well. But, of course, once things progress to that level, certainly, the relationship is not related to a mongering existence, per se.

I mention this sceario because it illustrates the progression of what IS possible with respect to legitimate GFE in Monterrey. In the past, in other worldwide venues, the "long time" GFE is so common place, the PI, Indonesia, Colombia, etc...It is most definitely not something commonly found in Monterrey without a totally different outlook, and without a strong personal desire for that kind of scenario. It is also significant work to "SELL" a young girl on the whole idea. But, it can be done in Monterrey. What is so easy in Asia for example, is a lot of work in Monterrey, but VERY possible, even for those of you that are mature, and understand how to play the game. I don't mean this to sound like I am some kind of match maker, other than to illustrate that the GFE is possible. I am not advocating that anyone go down to Monterrey to find their soulmate. But, it does happen.

In addition, when Amigomio accuses me of losing track of the girls that I do consort with in the bars, it just goes to illustrate that even visiting as frequently as I do is still a disadvantage compared to the locals.

That's why I fully agree with the MP recommendations made here. It is probably the best option given time constraints. But, for those that live in Monterrey, or frequently visit Monterrey, at least with respect to meeting my same list of criteria, which are admittedly sometimes demanding, and different, the SCs are the better option.

However, in the past, I have actually taken an MP girl on salida. It was ok, but her personality was not to the charm level that's typical of strip club girls. The MP girls don't have to turn on the charm to sell drinks. So, they typically have no personality, have no practice delivering charm, or are so hardened from delivering sex 10 times a day that they are virtually a lost cause with respect to sweetness and personality. They just have to deliver the goods in the MPs, and everything else they might deliver to you is a bonus. So, my conclusions with respect to bar fining MP girls, unless you find an exception to the rule, are that they are not nearly as interesting on salida as the SC girls, some of which are party girls that offer a fun and interesting time in addition to the standard activities. And, even then, the best ones are hard to find.

As for ignoring advice from Amigomio and El Cabron, I never ignored it. I worked girls in different clubs, and kept my activities secret, here, and everywhere. I will always maintain my privacy here in the future with respect to specifics. I have started to divulge more details to Amigomio about my specific activities, but even then, the extent of my activities are significantly limited compared to past years. Who knows, perhaps what I am relating here is strictly my past experiences, and I am truly married to one of them right now. Hold that thought, because...

It is very, very difficult to cultivate a string of GFE girls, trying to work them all in, while simultaneously maintaining the atmosphere of GFE with them individually. I find that one can not really have the intensity of experience with more than about 4 girls, especially if you visit for several days at a time each month, and do not live in Monterrey. So, I purposefully have a stable of girls that I intend to work into the rotation. But, honestly, I am relatively married to one of them at this juncture, and have little motivation to work them all in. However, because I do subscribe to the advise given by El Cabron and Amigomio, I do, on ocassaion, try to work others of them in, and more importantly, to practice the skills to re-enter the game should I need to. But, honestly, many times, my heart ain't in it.

I always spent money on select girls at Prestige and Obsession, but I am no further along in those bars with respect to actually realizing the efficiency of the game now than I was 8 years ago, perhaps with the exception of one girl I know a girl at a high end bar that I have turned into a regular that may see me outside the bar on her off time. That is a rarity in the higher end bars. The difficulty at the high end bars is that the girls risk their jobs if they meet anyone outside. So, they are much more reluctant to meet. However, in my particular case, I found "one," just one, out of all the girls I have cultivated in the high end clubs over time, only one that meets my criteria, that over a period of almost 8 years. Well, there was Lilly at Obsession, but that goes back almost to the beginning of time, and really doesn't count.

It is at 12 to 1 right now. Many analysts believe that the rate will stay this high or continue to increase for the next three to six months as investors flock to the safety of U.S.Treasuries(Reserve Currency) and carry trades are unwound.

I think all countries are contracting at an unprecedented rate right now as seen by declines in global PCE(personal consumption expenditures). As I posted earlier, I believe that the next 18 months will provide absolutely tremendous values for mongering in the U.S. and abroad. I already see it happening here in Monterrey. In the last six weeks or so, Calle Villagran is noticeably slower on the weekends and there are more and prettier girls working in the clubs and MP's. I have read the same slowdown in regards to many Mexico border towns.

FWIW, the last time the U.S. faced both a declining equities and RRE(residential real estate) market was in 1927-1929, which resulted in the Great Depression. Do not listen to those kooks on CNBC. Things are very bad right now and the global financial System is in completely unchartered territory. There is a distinct possibility that the whole shadow banking System is going to collapse rendering our fiat dollars worthless. Coordinated global interest rate cuts aren't going to do sh_t as evidenced today by the markets continuing to drop even after an irrelevant half-point cut. Also, the financial short-selling ban ends today. If the Hedge Funds and Investment Banks come in and start shorting the financials and one of the big banks gets taken out(C,WFC,BofA,JPM), the System could fail.

And if it were to happen, the failure will be at a much more frenetic pace than what occured in 1923 Weimar Germany(hyperinflation within six months). In the next thirty days, it would not suprise me if the U.S. banks start limiting cash withdrawals to $500 a day.

I am generally a pretty cool customer.

Right now I am scared sh_tless.

Phlmonger, anyone in Monterrey will tell you that going to Infinito and/or Givenchy or Matehuala is hazardous to your health, but it isn't.

First of all, Infinito and Matehuala have incredible urban legends going around them (minors working at these places, fights breaking out, shootings and killings going on) but they are indeed false.

Next, the choice of Obsession is quite good.
Right now both brother clubs Obsession and Prestige boast an incredible array of girls (I can vouch for Prestige at night) and are considerable less costly than the Amnesia family (Amnesia, Premiere, Reno).

But anyway, the best choices for visiting price-wise are still Pasarelas, Harem and Casino, again prices are slashed compared to Obsession and Prestige.
Maybe girl quality will be different, but still it will be cheaper to have fun at said clubs.

Phlmonger, if you have a chance tonight for an outing, opting for Infinito, like I said in another post, might be a little tough since their is no one there with patience to explain how it works.
But I would go for Pasarelas.
This club has been favored by visitors to our city.

If you can go to Casino (on my map, a little further away from the regular clubs and just 2 steps away from Prestige on the same avenue), it will also be a good choice.

Manuel the waiter speaks English and he is the type that will help you out.
If you go there, just ask for him.

I'm glad we had an overall good experience at Obsession. And looking at the exchange rate, it was even cheaper than I thought.

I also believe that things are in horrible shape. But the comparison between 1929 and today needs to include the fact that back then they tried a very restrictive monetary policy. Opposite today. I also think the next thirty days will be the critical time. I am scared to, I don't think anyone who half way understands this situation isn't scared. But I feel that it is a confidence problem as much as anything else. When banks began to work together again you will see a more normalization of the credit market. The stock market is just people panicking and pulling their money out. After 9/11 we lost about 1/2 of the value of the S&P 500. Today we have almost there again. I think we are just bottoming and will come out of it. They always say that the time to buy is when everyone else is scared, that would be now. I haven't sold, and I will buy some when it starts coming back up. But I'm the eternal optimist.

My first purchase will be foreign currency later this week and i'm expecting a very good return on investment.

Confidence is all that a fiat currency has to offer. Once faith in the currency is replaced by fear of the currency, it is essentially over.

If GM BK's out, cascading-cross derivative defaults could break the S&P's 2003 lows. In fact, the whole System could crash then. The whole System is in a very precarious state. Six months of storable food is a good buy right now.
