Will some one please update on situation of floods at Bangkok, thanks
Also, how are the girls in the gogos now? Are they showing up to work? How are prices? Do they seem desperate for money?
I know lots of mp girls in the thai oriented establishments have gone home to the villages to help out with the flooding.

China to Thailand!
Soon I will be making the the trip to BKK. Had been in China for 4 years. Loved the mongering scene in Beijing and Tianjin. The guys on the China board were always helpful and we had a lot of fun.
I was hoping that the BKK board would be the same. However it seems the main topic of conversation is the flood and how we all pay too much! I have a few suggestions to make. No need to worry about what others pay. We all have our own budgets. It is naive to think that a few members on the board who are more generous than others or are not save negotiators can drive the prices up. Mongering is all about having fun, experiencing different cultures of woman, and just enjoying ourselves while helping the girls at the same time. Let's face it, most of the wg's would not do this job if they did not need the money, although I do know a few in Beijing who do it because they love it and are addicted to the money. Anyways enough of my rant. I will arrive November 15th and plan to relocate here for at least 4 more years. Any members who want to get together for a few drinks and partake in our hobby please send me a PM. Good wing men are hard to find like Sammy and the guys from Beijing. I hope we can turn the BKK board around. Let's start making some solid contributions instead of all the bickering about prices and the flood, frankly it's depressing LOL. I plan to do me fare share after I arrive.
Short update:
Right now its a beautiful day (no rain) , and no water here in the Sukhumvit area. But this might change within the next days.
Tap water might be a problem, one of the canals providing fresh water for being cleaned up for Bangkok's tap water is now flooded with the brown soup from the North. In blogs citizens complain about yellowish / bad smelling tap water.
Right opposite Snow White is Lucky Salon and Massage advertising ear wax removal if that's the place you mean. A few yards further down from Suk is another barber shop just before the right turn into Soi 24/1 (Angels, etc.).
Must definitively be the place, just in front of Snow white.
I just wanted to kill time while waiting for my session at SW, so just asked for ear waxing and face shaving. Got that by 2 nice girls on the ground flor. Don't know if more can be ahd.

Something for every guy
The main draw for most foreign men to come to LOS is for the cheap available pussy. Being that this is a sex board I assume most guys here fit in that category. Now lets imagine that tomorrow the thais closed all their sex venues to foreigners and the only available pussy was fat ugly Thai women at $300 / short time. How many mongers would continue to spend their time here to enjoy the other things on offer?
I think you are correct in your summation of why some foreign men come to Thailand, and a lot of those that do end up on this "sex forum." And, you're right that the price of ugly pussy has to be cheap enough to keep attracting those who are just looking for a "hole" to fill. Thailand has a lot of both, fat & ugly, and young & beautiful. That's what keeps the price down. Simple supply and demand, plus of course, the laissez-faire approach by the law (read: mafia) that allows it to go on.
However, some men do come here for holidays, work, adventure, SCUBA diving, culture, medical treatments, to start new lives, to hide out from the law, etc, etc. Some of them end up reading this board for general information and trashy entertainment (much like the Penthouse Forum). On the practical side, I've found good hotels, cheap taxis, etc, on this board, and I sure miss Old Thai Hand's sardonic perspective on the country and its people.
Mongering has never been my primary reason for being here in TH, but it is fun to partake in from time to time. I know exactly where to go to get what I want. Again, the "forum" was handy, at least in the beginning.
If you are so inclined, you can meet and enjoy the company some very nice (and not so nice) women, who are in the "game." It turns out that there is something for everyone here in Thailand, both hardcore "wham bam" mongers, and guys that require a little human interaction to spice up their sex lives. That's the beauty of it all, and, it's all "up to you."
Search these forums and you will find many who claim to get pussy for that price. They are full of shit, but will tell you otherwise.
I have gotten short time for 300-400 baht in Pattaya.
Pattaya is the only place in Thailand (that I am aware of) that you can get pussy for 300 baht and Pattaya can also be a very dangerous place to live and monger, so be careful.
Short update:
The governments / FROCs (Flood Relief Operations Center) strategy has changed 2 days ago. Decision was made to open the flood gates in the suburbs of Bangkok to allow the water from the North to run-off through Bangkok canal system to the sea.
Nonthaburi is inundated, this is north-west of Bangkok on the other side of the river (looking from Sukhumvit). Some districts in real trouble (2 m water).
In the north / north western part of Bangkok many districts of Pathum Thani are flooded, and the water reaches Rangsit and Don Muang (old airport) right now.
There was an announcement from FROC approx. An hour ago, that the eastern districts of Bangkok must prepare for approx. 0.5. 1 m water. This was an official announcement, so better double the numbers. The Sukhumvit area (usual tourist area) is located in the center / eastern part of Bangkok. If we get flooded here we will get it quite late, and then all Bangkok will be disaster zone.
