In my life, I have professionally dealt with medicines and I can tell you that. If medicines works for one person it does not necessarily mean that it works for another person. Or a test will show you a 100% result. Most likely it will be a 50%-70% probability. Plus to this, people are very much mistaken when they rely on the test. Any test only showing that a person is sick, but this is not a solution to the problem, because the disease may be incurable. For example, a person has back pain, he did a MRI and waits for the result. He hopes that when the result comes, the problem will be solved. So the person receives a test. And what does this change? If the problem cannot be solved? For example, a person har disk herniation. He has to live with it.

I don't want to predict your future I don't have a crystal ball. Imagine, that one day the test will come back positive and what next?. When people first use drugs alcohol no one expects to become a drug addict or an alcoholic but it happens. Or When people get behind the wheel of a car, no one thinks about an accident.
