Is this why you left and are never ever coming back
I will be receiving my mail-in ballot pack any day now. Then, as always, I will vote 100% Dem on every entry where there is one. That is proof positive that I love America, am strictly partisan in favor of Great Dem Economic Expansions and Historic Jobs Creation over Great Repub Recessions and Historic Jobs Destruction, in favor of Lower Crime and not in favor of Outlawing Sex For Pleasure nationally.
You're welcome.
DNC policies like these?

Trump-era Record High Crime Rates are Way Down under Biden-Harris
Thanks, Joe and Kamala. And since my vote helped put them in office, you're welcome.
All data from all police force agencies, even police force agencies Trump and his fellow Repubs want to Defund, have provided data showing that the Trump-era historic crime wave rates came down virtually across the board on violent crime and way down on murders under Biden-Harris. Yes, even in big cities.
And, no, there is no evidence of a "migrant crime wave" happening now or ever on Biden's watch:
Violent crime declined in 2023, FBI finds.
Sept. 24, 2024
https://www.fox8live.com/2024/09/23/violent-crime-declined-2023-fbi-finds/
Crime surged during the coronavirus pandemic, with homicides increasing nearly 30% in 2020 over the previous year the largest one-year jump since the FBI began keeping records. The rise defied easy explanation, though experts said possible contributors included the massive disruption of the pandemic, gun violence, worries about the economy and intense stress.
Violent crime across the U.S. dipped to near pre-pandemic levels in 2022, according to the FBIs data. It continued to tick down last year, with the rate falling from about 377 violent crimes per 100,000 people to in 2022 to about 364 per 100,000 people in 2023. Thats just slightly higher than the 2019 rate, according to Deputy Assistant Director Brian Griffith of the FBIs Criminal Justice Information Services Division.
...........
The FBIs report is in line with the findings of the nonpartisan Council on Criminal Justice, which earlier this year analyzed crimes rates across 39 U.S cities, and found that most violent crimes are at or below 2019 levels. That group found there were 13 percent fewer homicides across 29 cities that provided data during the first half of 2024 compared the same period the year before..
I do more than just think, I do!
This was not all bad. At least it shows you are thinking though.
You are of course talking about the portion of my post that was so dead on point you didn't touch it. Maybe I am not a dump or as poor at you thought? Nah, you will never change you idea of me because of who you are. LOL!.
You have stock darling NVIDIA with a PE of 54. That means for every dollar they earn, people are paying them $54. The excuse for why it is so expensive is Nvidia produces chips in high demand, and the idea with high PE stocks is they are just going to keep growing earnings like gang busters.
Reality is no excuse is needed. PE Ratio is determined by what the market is willing to value the current / future earnings of the company.
The PE ratio of AMZN is 97.8. Is AMZN a stock darling? Does AMZN need an excuse to have a PE twice as high as NVDA?
I know that if you increase liquidity in a market when it is not needed, you wind up with more money chasing fewer goods. That means the Fed itself is creating the inflation. Citizens of the United States of America are not savers. They are not going to sit on this new liquidity that they have in their pockets from, lower credit card rates and lower mortgage rates through re-financing, lower car loan rates, they are going to spend that money. THAT is what is going to cause inflation to increase. Not the companies purchasing NVDA chips. In fact the market is currently telling us that earnings from AMZN are going to be more valuable than the earnings from NVDA because consumer purchases in the disUnited States of America are about to get lit off like a rocket engine motor.
Now lets address the areas where we can agree to disagree.
No, PPI and CPI are often identical. PPI leads CPI because as producer prices go up, companies pass on their price increases to consumers.
Producer prices for final demand increased 1. 7 percent over the year ended August 2024.
The Consumer Price Index rose 2. 5 percent over the past year.
If the dollar is stronger, Americans can buy more imported goods. Companies who sell abroad do better with a weak dollar as their goods are cheaper. This has been studied before. A strong dollar is better than a weak dollar especially if your country is a net importer.
Strong Dollar favors consumption. Weak Dollar favors production. The citizens of the United States of America are consumers not savers. That is why you favor a strong dollar and have the reasoning that you do.
It is not unknown. When you were blabbering on about the significance of the rate cut and how it was politically driven, I did not respond because it bored me. The market odds on a 50 point rate cut went through the roof after the last CPI report.
I don't write for you nor do I blabber. Of all the reports posting in the American Politics section you choose to take issue with mine when I did not address you at all. Please stop trying to improve your self worth in front of others with your continuing insults.
The market is not the real economy. But since you are a man of privilege that you are I understand why you think that.
For some reason, this rate increase shocked you when it was obvious to everyone else. Unemployment is up.
There is no reason because it was not surprise to to me. But there is no reason for it. The Fed has missed their own stated target. FACT!
There is so much wrong with that I am not going to take it on. In the last few months, one of every 140 Americans has lost their job. Mortgage rates went UP with the latest Fed cut.
You mean that there is so much right with my statement that you had no rebuttal for it. What you have learned (Mr. Buyer of Individual Bonds) is that the market determines interest rates not the FED. The 10 year US Bond Rate hasn't moved. What is that telling you Mr. Individual Bond investor?
That is what people who are hawking gold say. I keep telling you guys there are no free lunches, and you keep coming up with reasons why there is. You guys act like countries turning on the printing presses has never been tried before.
Once again you are spinning as well at the top republican political figures that are your heroes. I am not selling anything. I am a advocate of learning about money. I am the only person up in here advocating for hard money. Bitcoin (BTC) Gold (Au). It is to store value against the continuing depreciation of fiat currency. I don't care if anyone listens to me. Because you know what, check the price of: Bitcoin (BTC) Gold (Au). I use them as savings accounts. Since I have being doing this, it formed a base that has allowed me to have no financial worries and to speculate to my hearts content. Even though I am not a man of means. But when you can pay for the lifestyle you enjoy and you are time rich like I am then life is good.
Nobody wants to pay their credit cards off either, so why do they do it?
This statement makes absolutely no sense to me. Is it a typo or grammatical error? If you don't want to pay your credit card balance off, don't run up a balance in the first place. Pay cash!
Final question to the individuals who like to talk mess about the Third World: Why do break their backs to fly there to fuck the girl in the Third World?.
What is done with all the tax dollars I pay to the United States of America since I am not there in the country? Shouldn't I get a refund? Shouldn't all who are not in the country yet are paying taxes get a refund? Why is there not a surplus from all of that money that does not have to be spent on the citizens that are not in the USA yet continue to pay taxes to the government of the United States of America?

Now NATO is harder than ever to beat, thanks to Joe and Kamala
WAR! Is the most violent crime of innocent killings. Soon, under a President Harris, it will probably add a third new country; Ukraine.
No thanks to Trump for any strengthened Western Alliance to discourage authoritarian dictators from so much as looking at us or any other NATO member cross-eyed.
But Trump has shown he will always be there to help Xi kill a million or more Americans with whatever deadly virus spread he needs to be kept secret in order not to be embarrassed on the world stage for a couple of months. If that is any consolation for you.
Huh!...NSL4A says otherwise...

NSL4A Endorses Kamala Harris for President of the United States, Sept 22, 2024
"Kamala Harris will make an excellent Commander-in-Chief, while Mr. Trump has proven he is not up to the job. Effective leadership requires in-depth knowledge, careful deliberation, understanding of your adversaries, and empathy for those you lead." https://www.nsl4a.org/nsl4a-announcements/nsl4a-endorsement-harris
NSL4A - Veep Harris has just gotten more than 700 National Security officials, to endorse the Harris/Walz campaign. I think that speaks volumes for the CONFIDENCE and TRUST our national security and military leaders have for Veep Harris and what an existential threat Trump is to national security.
Yes, she will make an excellent Commander-in-Chief.
While only numbskulls are endorsing Trump
In addition to Harris' overwhelming support and endorsement from every meaningful National Security and Foreign Policy expert, now she has the overwhelming support and endorsement from every meaningful Economic Policy expert, even from a few Economists who worked under Repubs. And after doing so, they apparently vowed to never again participate in another Great Repub Recession or Historic Repub Jobs Destruction like the one Trump produced and wants to produce again.
Good for them:
More than 400 economists, former White House advisors endorse Harris, warn against Trump policy agenda.

But, hey, at least Trump still has Kid Rock and "Leon" Musk on his side.
My vote does not matter when electing the President of the United Staes of America.
The United States of America is not a democracy Anyone who says it is does not understand how the constitution picks the President of the United States.
All the voting rules that are being rolled out by various posters up in here mean nothing. The Electors of the Electoral College do not have to pick the candidate that gets the most popular votes. In two elections in my lifetime the Electoral College have appointed candidates into the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America who did not win the popular vote. That is the votes of the people do not matter. So in the end it will not matter how you weight the vote of a citizen of the United States of America, unless the there is a penalty under law that prevents electors from appointing whomever they want for President of the United Sates of America.
If the system changed I would be an advocate of having the vote weighted by, Service in the Military, Service in the Government, The amount of taxes that you pay.
Repubs continue to be shockingly wrong about the economy
After inheriting a terrific FDR / Truman economy, JFK / LBJ economy, Carter economy, Clinton economy and Obama economy, it is obvious Trump is champing at the bit to inherit this terrific Biden economy so he can do what he and previous Repubs always do under these circumstances; coast on the positive economic trajectory they inherited from the Dem but their Party had virtually nothing to do with other than handing them total crap when the Dem took over, play golf, ride ponies, play golf, clear brush down at the ranch and play more golf.
And to continue doing that until their Repub Know Nothingness, Do Nothingness and horrific Repub economic policies and stewardship once again trigger a Once in 100 Years Disaster, a Great Repub Recession, an Historic Repub Jobs Destruction or all of the above.
Meanwhile, thanks Joe and Kamala:
A series of economic data supported a solid economy, quelling fears that perhaps the Federal Reserve is cutting rates aggressively because of the economy slowing. Weekly jobless claims fell more than expected, pointing to a steady labor market. Durable goods orders for August were unchanged versus economists expectations for a decline.
