Looked like a shake down to me
I don't really know what's going on but police came and did an inspection for all the clubs on Saturday and now all the clubs (outside of Troya I believe) are closed until Wednesday.
I was in all the clubs except Venus was closed Saturday night-- Pretty good selection in Troya and Fiebre. Cops came into Fiebre about 11 and they turned on the lights spot checked a few people. We sat there for 40 minutes and decided to leave. As I was leaving they were putting a closed notice sticker on the outside. Really seems like a shake down.
They still have blocked off Kr 16 and 16 a to traffic for security there are always cops on those streets. I heard the grenade attack was a couple guys on a bike that threw it as they passed Troya. Reported as being Tren de Arragua. They have really fucked up to do an attack on cartel property in downtown Bogotá -- They Shall Pay.
Its not easy to shock me but wow
The idea is pretty simple to understand. They want everyone to unite to control pricing. The goal being to keep prices low so they can afford the hobby.
If I had something that I loved, I would want to make sure its affordable to me in the future as well as today. I'm sure the putas do something similar in efforts to keep pricing high.
Inflation has definitely pushed prices up. More punters coming to Colombia has definitely pushed prices up. Prices in Santa Fe have doubled in the last 3 to 4 years.
Can't blame the guy for wanting to keep it affordable. Not everyone is super rich. On the other hand, its probably not worth the effort, most people don't want to be told what they should do with their money and are going to do what they are going to do, regardless.
They make some good points though, do you expect to pay the same price for hotels in Colombia that you do in the USA or other developed countries. Airbnbs? Food? Transportation?
You most likely came to Colombia for cheaper sex and other shit. So you would think they would be interested to know if they were paying more than they needed to for something?.
I have heard about the hooker unions in some venues.
Imagine if you will, a scene where we the customers work as a unified group (or at least try to).
And try to advocate for the best interests of the group as a whole,(or at least try to).
I cannot believe the stupidity in this community, they are the reason we can't have nice things, extremely low self esteem is a cancer on this hobby.
They come in take information, then blast their diarrhea all over the place, insult everyone and give the finger while walking out the door.
The low self esteem fueled hubris is overwhelming.
