Actually, just from the price you paid, you paid extra, notwithstanding. Highest priced girl in Sayuri is not more than 1500 w / body slide.

Bottom line here: girls are 1000 for basic no-prefix ladies, B and M are only a couple hundred baht more. Nice room is 150 extra and worth it imo.

Been said many times on this thread but I will state again: key to not getting ripped off at Sayuri is walk in and act like you know the prices, you don't need to know thai just set down your money and get to it. The papasans are avaricious and unprincipled and if you ask how much you WILL pay 500-1500 more than the regular prices. Ditto arriving by tuk-tuk.

I hit Sayuri now and then but frankly I think you are always going to get better value for baht on Loi Kroh, unless it's before the bars open and you just got to pop out a nooner or something.

Just some advice, check out the place on a map and have the tuk-tuk drop you off a few blocks away. That is what I did when I went to Sayuri. It is not that far of a walk from the main road.

there are the sideliner girls; even advertising they're wares on their own websites and on facebook and other social networking sites. but these girls prefer to keep it all between their student peers and thais. this is why they advertise mostly in thai language.

there are basically 2 ways for farangs of obtaining a uni girl in chiang mai and both of these do not include a cheap pick up either around a university location or from a bar. as a rule uni girls do not hang about or work in the farang orientated adult entertainment establishments.

firstly, some actually advertise themselves on social networking sites. but these are looking for mugs to sponsor their long-term university fees and living expenses. many will probably have many farangs on the go and some hanger on thai boyfriends.

secondly, there are clubs springing up outside the main tourist areas of the city actually run and managed by the students.

for example, the pretty club and the ricky club.

these are basically glorified massage parlours. the girls offer body to body massage ending with a hand job, but rarely offer full sex. it`s basically titillation at a very expensive rate. i tried the pretty club and although the girls are mostly 10s it cost me 1700 baht for a 40 minute body to body massage and a hand job. it was pay as you go, almost like being in a taxi with the meter running. it`s going to cost you a stack of cash for a very quick thrill.

my advice is; that mongers should not even consider putting chiang mai uni girls on the agenda and if you are seeking something even half decent at reasonable cost, than you are wasting your time in chiang mai.

All of them were in Thai language, so unless you read / write Thai, or have a friend who can help, it will probably be of little use.

Simply select the girl you want, get her number, proceed to the pay counter, tell the lady which one you want, hand her 1200 to 1400 and she will call over a papa to fetch the girl. It is that easy.

A good report. Seems things haven't changed much since I was there nearly 2 years ago. I avoided the tuk-tuk commission by walking there from across the Ping River. A bit of a walk, yes, but you need the exercise don't you? I was fortunate during my first visit to run into another farang who was kind enough to tell me how it worked so I never had to talk to one of the papasans. Well actually I did, but only said I want that one, then went to the cashier without hesitation while he called the girl out. Got no discussion from him. I found my girls to be friendly but mechanical service. Ralph's take on the girls and the clientele is about what I saw. Other than that I never got bbbj, but no biggie.
