Thinking of heading to Dhaka in a few weeks. There's lots of talk about the MPs and hotel bars but little recent discussion of the Banani hotels. Has anybody been recently and can you shed light on their current state?

I'm also considering another run to Daulatdia during my trip. I know it's a long shot, but has anybody visited lately? How are things there?

Let me share one of my recent experience. I noticed some low budget pimp services on facebook and felt quite curious about them. Although I was worried about the security but thought they worth a try at least since these massage parlors are becoming less secure as well.

Contacted the provider (found later he was more of a client and was just referring to the pimp) on facebook and called him right away. The place was around Mirpur.

The actual pimp identified me through shirt color and told me to follow him. He took me inside a building and it was probably 4th floor. Honestly, at this stage I was so frightened for it was something you would call dark. However, fortunately the people over there was totally business minded and there were many other clients. The pimp was friendly too and understood my anxiety. I am quite sure they have managed the law enforcement officials as well.

So there were girls in that floor and also the floor above. He showed me the girls and suggested one. I went with the suggested one. I had to pay first. They asked for 8 k but my facebook source said it would be around 1-3 k. However, as I didn't take cards and for security reasons had limited amount with me, proposed them 4 k and they immediately agreed. Later the girl told me its much low actually but its okay for me since it was my first visit.

Now about the girl, I don't know about the health condition but she is actually a pro. They advertised them as VIP. I told her I am new to this and know nothing much. She started serving me from her own effort and I didn't had to bother much. I masturbate before going there and it was a real pain to make me ejaculate. The pimp told me I don't need to tip. However, she started demanding for 1 k as tip but as I didn't have that much ended up paying 500 tk extra.

May be this is first time for you and that is why you are anxious and could not negotiate properly. But keep one thing in mind, this forum is for helping mongers like you so that you don't overpay and don't get cheated. Also one more thing, these guys and pimps business is this so they will not cheat you with any other stuffs except price. The trick is once you see the girl, take the pimp to one side and say him that for all these girls, I am never going to pay you more than 2000 tk and then negotiate at that point. I am sure this trick works wonders.

I have been to this kind of 20+ places in Dhaka, mostly in Uttara, Mirpur, Moghbazar, Badda, Gulshan, Farmgate and never paid more than 2500 to any girl. I have some very good contacts now and price ranges from 5000-15000 and the girls are really really good. But I cannot share the contacts with you all because I do not have message option.

As far as my experience goes, most mongers carry their own fun with them when visiting the longest beach. Local talent is dependent on the mercy of the hotel. Meaning you could be in for a nasty surprise if they decide to exploit you.

I've heard some nasty stories of the biggest hotel there providing fun and then tipping Ellie. The WG will have her safety net but the poor monger who is just a visitor is left high and dry, and truly fucked, pardon the expression.

Carrying your own fun reduces the risk, to a great extent. But yes, if some seniors could shed light and share their knowledge, I'd be extremely grateful.

As you said it can go both ways but even the best possible result may end you up with a below quality prostitute in a shabby little and extremely dirty hotel room. Generally the rickshaw puller and the tomtom drivers are the pimps or will take you to a pimp if you show interest. But once again, I found the overall quality of girls so poor that in the two occasions that I tried, I entirely lost my appetite. And I was ripped off too in another occasion when I was young and naive.

I also heard the sub par hotels run the business instead of actual hotel business but they are disgustingly horrible both girl and environment wise.

In summary you may try for the experience of it but have very low expectations and do not pay up front. Safety is an issue but I was alone in all three occasions and was ripped off once. I doubt they have the guts to physically harm you but they will change their polite face in a matter of seconds if things get ugly. So just be careful and judge the pimp very hard before committing anything.

I'm not sure if any middle or high end hotels provide such services but if anyone knows please share. I don't think they do as it may ruin their reputation.
