I agree that it doesn't make sense to use Blok M as code for Malioboro, when a location called Blok M actually exists.

Hope tourist permit without quarantine to Jakarta will open up after Ramadan. Covid cases are slowly going up in different part of the world. Confusion still on go. Note that cat, pronounced chat, is an indonesian word. However, it means paint, not the animal. Probably not a good idea to mix up kucing and kencing. 😜.

On the tracks: It is dark. Like pitch black. This place was never super lighted up but now it is as dark as it gets. Most stalls have been closed as part of the crackdown (their entrance has been closed with bricks / concrete). Some places still operate but only very few ladies were there and not a single talent on my first visit (around 8 pm). No point of banging an oversized Indo lady in her 30's. I always loved the place for the unique experience of banging a 20 year old next to the train tracks with a train occasionally passing by. Quite cool IMO: D). Since no talent, I went down to the other stalls. Maybe half of them were closed. Not sure if this was because of the crackdown or it was just post Ramandan. Quite interesting experience.

If anyone knows if there are other downmarket places around (from reading the forum, most of you guys are more into upmarket places), please share. Would be a shame if this is a wasted trip.

I can report that Fortune Spa in Grand Wijaya and Pondok Indah is operating although with a new format. You pay 1. 9 or 2. 3 depending on the sort of girl you choose for all in for two hours. No tips according to the girls at the desk. This is very expensive, but is what it is.
