Most likely not. This area is protected by two giant flood tunnels (near Makhasan / Ratchadapisek and Rama 9) and an effective pumping system. Risk is that the pumps fail, or it starts to rain. There was no major rainfall (just a little bit) in the last 10 days, and the raining season should be over. The pumps are more or less working fine. Up to now.

Some politicians voiced their opinion since Friday, that Bangkok will be dry in 10 days / 2 weeks. That will NOT happen. It will last longer.

Many thanks to Giotto also for the updates. I have seen in the past 2 days that the tourists are not what it used to be. Many places are saying there is a lack of customers.
