Instead I headed to Baccara on Soi Cowboi and hooked up with Tukta again and her (real) sister Tan (#283) , who was busy the previous night. Tukta is 1 year younger (just turned 22) , a bit taller maybe a bit prettier and kind of more wild. Tan is such a happy person, great girl, great smile, great time, great service. I was going to barfine both sisters but I guess Tukta was drunk, she left the bar and headed somewhere, she said to bed. So I took Tan to CM2 and observed the jealous mongers who approached her and got turned away every time. CM2 (at Novotel SiamSquare) was really good, they had an Egyptian themed party and a live band as always, but closed at 2:30AM. We were at the hotel by 3, at which point Tukta called and asked to join us. It was tempting but I had to wake up kind of early and I did not want to wait for her to get to my hotel, also thought she might still be drunk, so I figured I might as well stay with Tan since I had Tukta the day before. Would not say the best (depence on definition) but spend that last 3 nights some time there and a wide range of people are visiting this spot. Seems to me like CM2 3 or 4 years ago; also in Mixx you can already see some area's where the Russians are taking over.

Yes, you can still get a skank for 500 baht in BKK and a few gals will go for 1k (especially in low season) but finding a really stunning girl for 1k can be done but it is difficult.

Even terrible misanthropes such as myself have done it. Yes I once sent money to a prostitute. All of 500 baht, and to a very particular girl - an extremely old and unmarketable dame I used to do for the extreme back-door fun. I had never paid her more than 500 baht for a short time, and she was uncomplaining and offered great service, really a tip-top provider, as long as one didn't mind the aging. So one day I get a call and she says she's desperate, with some bullshit story, and asks for 500 baht. I think 'well, she really is so unmarketable that maybe she's desperate, and I've never tipped her - and most of all, surely she won't think me a fool, and will understand it is out of pity rather than fondness, simply because she's such an old expired bird'.
She thanked me profusely, and promised a free one next time I was in Pattaya. Well, a month or two later, when I took her again, no free one was on offer. When you give gifts (money) out of kindness it has no positive effect on the girls here in LOS. In fact it has a negative effect. It just shows how foolish and weak the monger is. That was in response to the poster who said the market has not changed. By the way there are very few things on the planet that see a 100-200% increase in cost over a 10 year period. Of course 35% of it is the decreased value of Western currencies.

Paying Mercedes prices for a Ford is just not smart.
Oily and soapy prices have not changed (except for perhaps 1-200 baht with 100 being the tax imposed in 02) and they still offer the best looking (soapies) and performing (oilies) women who are well worth every penny. Was then and is now.

For the 3500 baht you pay for ST, BF, and drinks with a go go gal you can have at least a nice looking Isaan or better North girl who is mannerly and will treat you with respect and service you well. It never ceases to amaze me when I hear of Farangs paying a high Sin Sot to their new in laws. Sin Sot is part of the culture but now is normally returned to the newlyweds in the form of land or put into a bank account for them to buy a house, land, etc. It is not squandered by the bride's family, yet in so many Farang Thai unions it is.

I'm planning my maiden voyage in Feb / Mar and will be in Bangkok and Patts. I was thinking that I might try my hand (s) at some older type back packer ladies in Bangkok. I figured there might not be too many down Patts way so might be lucky and snag one in Bangkok. I'm thinkin (hoping) round the 40-50 age bracket types, bit hippy ish, or anything really.
Any suggestion for hunting areas. Would khao san Road be a good start?
