What are the girls saying about us.
I am curious what the girls say about the customers they service. Do they have a web site where they can compare notes about us. We only look at things from our perspective. Things like that cheap bastard wanted 2 leches for 1000 pesos. I would love to hear their conversation about us.
We give'them something to talk about!
OldCool you bring up good point points as usual. We talk, analyze, criticize and discuss all aspects of our dates at times in great detail. Oh, to know what they think of us! After years of going to the DR my working knowledge of Spanish has increased greatly and as such I have sat with groups of girls buying drinks never letting on that I understood most of what they were saying. Much of what I heard was about us. I have put together a short list of topics I have over heard over the years. This list will not include comments about the locations where they work or for whom they work. But much of what I heard was at FOD and BB's as the girls will sit for hours and talk.
1. Hygiene: who is clean, who's breath smells, who needs to brush their teeth, whose finger nails were untrimmed, unclean or two long. Physical size and even appearance is second to hygiene.
2. Cheap: who were the guys that would buy them a meal, drink or at least offer. There were comments that it was difficult to relax and have fun when maybe they have not eaten anything all day.
3. Aggressiveness: on average (subjective data) most girls did not want rough sex. Some men were rough and mean. They used names of current guests and I could tell they were a bit more distant towards them avoiding eye contact. They waited to be approached.
4. Communication: there were stories about guys wasting their time by flirting and then they would leave them for someone that just arrived. There were stories about guys taking one girl to the room only to discover that she was going to be with more than one date and not being told or compensated. To many stories of bad experiences. There were stories about how a date would have the girl with him for several days and pay her 3, 000 pesos a day for each day at the end of the trip. One guy had the same girl for 5 days but ate and drank so much and screwed so many other women at the same time (they each got paid) that at the end of the trip at check out he did not have enough money to pay his steady date. That went over well.
5. Alcohol: guys that drink so much and then get pissed when they get to the room and get angry at them because he is to drunk to get it up. Or get it up but can't get off.
6. Gifts: no surprise here they know dollar store gifts when they seem them. They know the difference between panties from Kmart vs. Victoria's Secret. They know the difference between trail size lotions and perfume and the regular size. Gum and lollipops for their kids are nice but not a real tip.
7. Tips: cheap trinkets are not a substitute for a cash tip and a cash tip of 100 peso's is nothing. They know the exchange rate better than we do. We look silly going on and on about how great the night was and then not tipping a reasonable amount, offering to buy the breakfast or perhaps helping with the cost of transportation home.
These were just some things I have picked up over the years. I hope to return end of June or beginning of July.
