The quick response for me to use SOGO was spot on. Cleared customs in 20 min, used airport Wifi to download grab taxi, linked up my CC, then went to the sim card counter to buy 1 day of data. Had grab take me to sogo across edsa, booked a 4 hour room. Left my stuff there, walked across the street to edsa, grabbed a beer, had some popcorn, flirted w / the mamasan and a few chicks. Just seeking some suggestions, have traveled extensively to Thailand, Indonesia, HCM, HK etc. First time trip to Philippines from May 1 to May 6th. Currently planning 3 nights in Manila and 2 nights in Angeles City to get a feel for the place. Will Cebu be better than Angeles or stick to current plan?

Any suggestions / thoughts will be welcome.

If you have only five nights to spend in the Philippines out of which three will be in Manila, then it's better to spend the remaining two nights in Angeles as it is only a two hour drive from Manila.
