I am heading to BB this weekend for 2 days. Always been a dream of mine to pilage and plunder in DR. Question, can I buy levitra or viagra at the pharmacies there?

Thanks
You can buy Levitra, Cialis, Viagra, and a knockoff called LaPela at just about any farmacia (pharmacy).

Yes. They also carry the generic brands of both viagra and cialis. I am not sure of the generic on levitra but you can ask. No prescription is necessary. Bring your own condoms with you as I would NOT trust the ones they sell down there.

Since you are going to BB's you can find a nice small pharmacy right after you enter the gated area to Costambar. Less than a minute after you enter you will see Jenny's Market on the right. Just past that you will see the pharmacy on the left.

If you are coming in by taxi, you can have the taxi stop there as it is on the way to BB's. It is also within walking distance from BB's (about a 7-10 minute walk) if you want to do it that way. By the way, Jenny's Market is a good place to exchange money and gives you about 1 to 1 1/2 pesos per dollar better than exchanging at the hotel. US dollars in cash is the best way to pay for your room as you check in and for food/bar bill as you check out.

The pharmacy usually has someone there who speaks english and Jenny's will understand you want to exchange money (cambio in Spanish) if you just show it to them.

As Ponderosa said there is a pharmacy (not open on Sunday) across the street from Jennys. Ask for LaPella it is the DR brand of Cialis. Very cheap and little or no side effects. I have used it seveal times towards the end of my 6-8 days trips.

Condoms....as was stated already....bring your own....and bring more than you think you could ever hope to use. You may be amazed at how many you will use. If you are with two girls and want to go from one to the other you will need to change each time. It is also nice to be able to help another guest that may have run out or lost his bags for a day or two. The DR condoms are just not good!!

Please say "hello" to the cute, very fair skinned university student who works there. She speaks English, and claims to have a boyfriend. Funny, he said nothing as I was hitting on her in Spanish. Hummm.
Blechhhk,

Glad to see the quality has gone up significantly!

Rodeo
Rodeo,

5 years ago this was just a resort hotel before John bought it and turned it into Blackbeards. "The Sandtrap inn" was just a fledgling hotel catering to mostly some European guests. There were no girls, no working jacuzzi or outside fountain. There was no dinner service or the nice amenities it is now.

Occassionally a motoconcho girl or 2 would show up if they learned of a single guy staying. Other then that the options for chicas were the clubs on the maleocon, car wash girls and seedy bars off Avenue Colon in Puerta Plata. There were also girls working the beach in Costambar. Lots of girls were available but you had to go out and get them.

You are right when you talk about quality now. And I agree that it's nice to have these girls readily available when you go to BB's. But I also remember a time when you could pick up a girl hitchiking, at a supermarket or just walking the Maleocon. I actually had to work a little which for me made the payoff enjoyable.

I also never had to pay more than 500 pesos. Because that was then and this is now. When I went to Sosua a few months back I was shocked that some of the girls in Classicos were initially asking over 2000 pesos, and getting it!
Blechhhk,

Rodeo
Sorry, forgot to drop a photo. 2 sisters I picked up off the highway and girl off the Maleocon. Not your dream girls I'm sure but a nice memory for me.
Dr. P,

.......After a few years of hobbying I recently had an epiphany. I love all women! Black, Blonde, Brown, Yellow, Red, Tall, Short, skinny, thick, NOT FAT, curvaceous, big tits, small tits, small ass, thick ass, nice eyes, plain eyes, long hair, short hair. It seems that if you take a few minutes to think about it, there's is something beautiful about ALMOST every woman you meet. At least, that's my opinion. I for one started out looking for the tall, slim, blonde, blue-eyed bombshells with the porn star faces. Got tired of that and went on to black women with rich, caramel colored skin and juicy asses with sexy, wet, thick lips. Got tired of that and moved to Miami. Home of the Latinas. Started with Cubanas, got sick of them, then Argentines, Peruvianas, and those fucking Colombianas! I'll never tire of Colombianas! Now I'm going through my Dominicana stage which I'll probably phase out of next year, when I hope to move on to Costa Ricans and Brazilians. I personally have never had a thing for purely Asian women (I. E. Chinese, Japanese, etc), however, I love Filipinas and Thais. I have made it a goal to get to China or Japan within the next three years and just see what happens. Point is. Don't limit yourself based on preconceptions. You're obviously entitled to your preference, but as a brother of the hobby, I'd encourage you to embrace not only DomRep and all the ladies they have to offer, but also the other women of the world. They all have something to offer and will leave an indeliable mark on you in one way or another. I've had great times in both Colombia and DomRep, but they were two TOTALLY different types of women and experiences. Good luck in DomRep, I KNOW you will have fun if you use the resources available on this forum!

Rodeo
Rodeo, I know what you mean. You are far more travelled than me, and it took me longer to reach my epiphany, but I feel like you do (although I must admit I have a special fondness for spinners and yes, I don't like FAT Ones either).

I noticed my changing tastes slowly as I kept broadening my horizons with women over time. It finally dawned on me during the past year at BB's. I had befriended Charo (the "mamma san" there) on my previous trips but never used her services. One day I thought I would try something different and went to Charo for a recommendation. She asked me what kind of girl I liked and I stood there befuddled. I literally could not answer her. I finally came up with a briliant answer, "I guess I like women" (DUH!). She looked around at all the chicas sitting around, looked back at me, shook her head and then finally threw her arms up in the air and walked away mumbling to herself in Spanish.

That was the moment of my epiphany.

Rodeo,

After reading that 6 day report I'm nominating you the playa president homie. I was there at barba negra back in September which was my first trip outside the united states. To say I had a good time just wouldn't do BB's any justice. I can't wait to go back in March wish I could hook with you and your squad from college in feb but my kid got that month locked down. What I have learned from your reports and saw from other guys who came through there is gifts go a LONG way. So to all reading this trying to decide what to do expect bring etc. Take some inexpensive gifts they help in negotiations. Lastly not only does have letecia have great legs but that smile and her stomach tatt reminded me of back home in philly. And johana's pic I'm talking from lukewarm to HOT enough enjoy feb because when March get here I'm have my jersey retired after putting in much work. I'm out for now peace.

I did not meet her. Of course, I did not know that a mamma san was there. If we meet again, at BB's, please point her out.

It would be my pleasure.

I met Charo briefly last month. Very nice woman and she doesn't take any shit from the girls. The girls have the privilege of 'hanging out' at BB's and Charo makes sure they remember it. Cheers to Charo, raise your beers gents. Without Charo it would be mayhem at BB's.

Anyone at BB's during the weekend of Jan 17-21, 2008?

Rodeo9112,

What you ought to do is total up all the stars from each girls category and use that for your overall ranking. That way you can better define the ranking of all the girls with respect to one another.. Great list.

Hey Guys,

Here is a rather silly question that I don't think has been asked before. Does anyone know if PEANUT BUTTER is avaliable for purchase at Jenny's?

Looking forward to my innaugural visit to BB in 9 days.

Thanks, Birn

Peanut butter? Kinky!

Seriously, I believe I've seen peanut butter in a supermarket in Puerto Plata, so it may also be available at the corner store in Costambar.
That said, why even worry? Throw a jar into your suitcase.
