Anyone here have an educated guess when Americans will be allowed in Venezuela for tourism without the crazy Visa process? Seems like Medellin has had enough of the monger types.

Same government, same police, same everything except 2 people. Doesn't suggest to me that anything much has changed.

Right now the USA controls this country, so you at least know that you won't be randomly harassed or detained just for being american.
