To give you an idea how bad it is now along the beach, and how hard it is to find a really good 500 baht b.b. 3-hole service provider, I actually sent 1,500 baht to an old favorite to help her return to Pattaya from Chiang Rai. Really good three-holers are so rare now, its worth the shot-in-the dark to try to get an old regular back. Think its only the second time I've ever sent a girl money in the 15 years I've been here.

I returned to Red Car on Sunday following the ill timed debacle from the prior evening. Lots of women tonight and quite a few punters too. I was encouraged by a girl to talk to her friend who she saw I was eyeing. Went over to chat and we were dirty dancing within 10 minutes. Several guys giving me envious looks as this girl was a real spinner with high heels, white tank top, and denim cut off short shorts.

I've always had fun there and have defended the place numerous times on the board. Not all the girls there are stunners, but there are some gems to be found if you take a close look. And I think its easier to approach girls there than at I-bar and other FL venues.
Unfortunately (for me) my regular sets up shop there and its awkward for me to go there now to look for women as I don't want her to lose face. But I am thinking of dropping her and returning to that hunting ground full force next time I am in Patts (probably in August).

Not that difficult till about the last 3-4 years I'd say. My list of numbers only finally ran out, that is [i]completely[/i] ran out, in the last few months. I think it really has a lot to do with the longer-term jailing of most of the yaba users - as any lady will gladly gossip about if you ask.

I will be in Pattaya. Early may my third visit and in the past I have seen first hand the discrimination against Indians never tried to enter red car. Anyone know if they have this policy too? Anyway many other places I'm welcome I behave treat the girls well and have great times in many other places but want try red car this time. Thanks for your input.

Try dressing smart and if they don't let you in, complain to the tourist police is stationing right there. Go straight to the most senior person and ask if in Thailand racism is acceptable. No matter the outcome that will embarrass them as they deserve.

Anyway if I knew of a lady doing time, and she had been nice to me before, I would go visit if possible.

On a prison population of 20 000 in Belgium, only about 500 are women. Are they less criminal or just more clever to escape justice?
Who still remembers the Thai War on Drugs earlier this century? In a period of 6 months in 2003 51 000 arrests of drug users and small dealers were made and over 2 000 people died in related incidents. Strangely enough, the higher level dealers seem to have more or less escaped the effects of the war.
Who knows what the present government will do next in their campaign to clean-up Thai society? I don't think this is a good moment to use illegal substances in Thailand.

Some big busts every once in while, small busts everyday. Repression doesn't make the issue go away and I think the dictator is smart enough not to risk himself into battles that he can't win.

(As a matter of fact the only hooker pickup club that I can remember ever having a dress code was the old Help in Rio de Janeiro. You just couldn't wear shorts, but I even got around that before - Imagine having to dress well to pick up hookers.) I just went in Walking Street Disco the other night wearing jean shorts and flip flops as usual. My buddy had on the same thing. If you think you might have problems just walk in like you own the place. Go straight in without looking at anybody and don't look back if you think someone is calling out to you. Even if they chase you down, look at them crazy while brushing them off and keep walking.
