Thermae
Fast forward to now when Thermae is basically a Asian guy place, due in part to the closure of the Siam City Hotel on Phetburi, and the girls are very submissive, rarely, if ever, will approach a guy, don't drink, etc. It is kind of like a high school prom with girls on one side and guys on the other. Bad? Good? Well, it is what it is and it is the Asian guys place now and so it it their style.
Very true. It does have that HS "who makes the first move?" feel to it.
Last night about 50 gals there, some pretty good looking too, but most would only eyeball the Asian men (there wallets no doubt, as a fair number are out of shape, small, balding men in their 60s). A few LBs as well (at least I think they were).
One girl with a nice smile offered ST for 1500, but wouldn't go for LT or 2 pops. Hate to get a girl to my room for just a one shot deal, so I passed.
Another hot girl said 2000 ST, no LT.
All in all about 10% seemed interested in Westerners.

Just a few updates being in BKK the last week or so. These are just my simple observations and some differences from two years ago, so take it for a grain of salt.
1. There's better value to be had finding a gal walking along lower sukhumvit than the gogo bars. Found a total hottie who used to work at Robinson's (says her) , she had great tits and a well rounded hips and ass, cute face too. I actually didn't grab her that night, I took her # down and called her the next day. She didn't care how much I gave her and was happy with 1k. Took her to a movie a few days later, banged her all night and morning and it was all on the house.
2. Picked up a nice gal from Bacara, but was disapointed with her looks outside the bar. Tits were too small and had a few too many stretch marks. Her performance was good as she aimed to please.
3. There seems to be more Indian touts than ever. I was sitting at soi Cowboy, eating a burger and beer outside at one of the little stalls and was hounded by Indian dude selling fake watches. I said not interested and he kept on showing me new ones. Finally he got a clue and left. The Thai girl nearby gave a thumbs up when she saw me not buy anything.
4. Pulling girls from Siam Paragon still seems like a remote possibility. I think I should brush up on my Thai next time.
5. Met a girl on Tagged that I actually felt pretty bad about. She was 37, pretty and slim, but had messed up teeth. She drove me around and we took photos, she came back to my hotel and had sex, although she didn't give me a BJ. Afterward she kept calling and messaging me wanting to go out and meet or go to dinner. I cut it off pretty quick, saying to just forget about me. Better to end it quickly than stringing her along. Although, in hindsight I probably shouldn't have banged her, but it was bareback so hard to pass up.
6. It seems the hottest girls, not sure if they were thai on some occasions, but they seem to choose uglier Asian dudes. I guess they opt for guys who they think will not butterfly?
7. For HISO girls, the best option looks to be either DIA, Thaifriendly, or the RCA venues. RCA looks to be almost 50/50 farang / thai. I think more and more foreigners are catching on to coming here for hot Thai pussy and eschewing farang girls. Can you blame them?

Nihon / Nippon / yipun
You grew up there and didn't know? In one of my education classes at the university our professor explained to us that before World War 2 (I think it was) Japan was called Nippon. So all the people were called Nipponese and it was shortened to Nips (derogatory same as Japs) by westerners. Evidently the Thais still call them by the old name. With the 'n' at the end of "khun" (which means person/people) and the 'N' at the beginning of Nippon running together it would make one think that the second 'n' is not being pronounced making it sound like "ippun" if it is not said very slowly.
I think you two are talking past each other. Japan is generally either Nippon or Nihon officially in Japanese, although there are other words for the country as well. Otherwise, in Thailand the pronunciation is as Betong notes, including the derogatory "ai yun," which one does hear now and then.
I would say that the majority of the girls at Thermae are still approachable to farangs, although there is a sizable minority, generally easy to spot, who are only interested in Japanese. I think what a lot of farangs fail to understand, although a cursory examination of Japanese porno would be a clue, is that like the ladies who focus on Arabs, the ones who specialize in ai yun tend to earn their pay. 3-3-3 notwithstanding.
They do tend to overpay, a reputation which pisses some Japanese off, but not giving a shit about money is kind of a macho thing with the Japanese. Japanese guys are generally polite, but they actually don't usually take too much shit off of women. Violence against women is very common in Japan, just not reported. The pay for play scene in Japan is huge, and very expensive compared to here. I sometimes wonder if one of the reasons most of the girls here give head now, unlike 20 years ago, is because of the Japanese demand for it. Blowjobs are standard fare in almost any Japanese P4P venue, and the blowjob parlors there (that almost always cater to Japanese only) blow the ones here out of the water. The Japanese might tend to be sour-faced bastards who don't mingle, but they rarely start fights or act belligerent, so sharing a venue with them isn't as bad as might be with a number of nationalities, including some kinds of farang or other ethnicities.
With the 'n' at the end of "khun" (which means person/people)
This seems to be a common misunderstanding here. The Thai word for person is 'khon' (or 'chaao'). 'Khun' is a polite prefix used before people's names, or just a polite way to say 'you'. Two totally different words. So in Thai there's no such thing as 'khun Nippon' or for that matter 'khun Yipun'.
And yes, Nippon is still Japan's official name, but except for very formal occasions it's always pronounced these days as Nihon.

Ah, finally a useful report as compared to nonsense arguments and shameless jabbing of each other. Thanks a lot and please feel free to PM me ph # of girl number 1 if you can.

(even if the whole scene seems interesting and worth, once one get the deal)

To an untrained ear it is often difficult to distinguish the proper pronuciation of Thai words. Just when I think I have it right, a girl will say "huh?" because she doesn't understand what I said, and will correct me with a pronunciation that sounds exactly like what I said. It's frustrating.
"khon" is the world for people, and "khun" is the word to address a specific person as "you; or "Mr." or "Mrs."
"khon Thai" means Thai people,"khon Am-mer-i-ga" refers to an American person, and "khon yippon" refers to a Japanese person. So 4 people would be refered to as "khon see" in Thai.
Any places other than Beergarden and Gulliver to pick up some freelancers during early / mid afternoon?

To my surprise I've recently seen 2 SYT laying on the sidewalk with their legs spread open.
Hiso hookers don't go troling for customers on dia, thaifriendly, or rca. Hiso girls cost 10. 000 plus and arent available to the avg goofball.
Hot girl like customers who don't butterfly. Hahahahahahahahahaha / okie dokie.
I never professed to be 100% right on things. However, in regards to thaifriendly and DIA, I was using the "hiso" term quite loosely and referring to non-p4p gals. I'd like to add that these avenues are of little value unless you're in BKK for the long haul, otherwise it's, more often than not, a waste of time. Like any other hot girl worth her salt, she'll tend to be flakey, hard to get, stand you up, etc etc. Just like anywhere else. Same same!
BTW- where can you find these 10k girls? I'd like to know if they're worth it!

DIA and Thai Friendly
I have used both and they are legit. My experience is that 20-25% are P4P. The majority of the rest are not P4P, but they are looking for money. Some of these girls have good jobs, but once you get past that, you realize they are paying for all their bros, sisters, mom, pop, etc. and complain they don't have much left. That is one reason a lot of them that are 25-35 are willing to meet men "of all ages". Their main goal is deep pockets. On the big picture, with a few exceptions, I don't see their intentions much different than P4P.
