Serious problem. I am not sure whether tip is tip, but to even start analyzing the question whether tip is a fee leads to a mathematical paradox. Consider you bring as service fee a bundle of 100 baht notes, and as tip (or tip fee, whatever it might be) another bundle of 100 baht notes. After the deed is done you pay. And you put both bundles of baht together and pay for service and tip / fee. With ONE bundle of banknotes. 1 + 1 = 1?

The 3 holer tipping problem gets even worse. There are people seriously questioning that a hole even does exist. In "The Philosophic Sociology of the Hole" Kurt Tucholsky states, that
