There is no security in this hotel. The rober take the caja fuerte, unbelievable story but true!

It is the reason of the cheapness of this hotel.

Well nothing new with the famous Maria Luisa, it happens all the time, with a lot of guests there. they give out my roomkey to people from the street that just ask for it , they giveout the keyto girls that have been with you and claime they are your girlfriend and let her have the key by her own , when you are out , The claeningstaff go thru your stuff when your not in , and they dont help you when you make complains, so yes be careful , I dont stay there anymore. Its so many others options in Lima . I am off to Thailand soon and back to Lima for all summer 2010, so may see some of you.

I always thought a *portable safe was odd. After all the hallways lead to an outdoor staircase.

I can see where the luisa can be a problem but luckily I've never encountered it. I tip very well and I buy little gifts for the girls. The male cleaners can be a little sketchy but I've learned to deal with them as well. I offer them goodies/snacks when they clean my room.

How do you know they give keys to any girl that asks for it ? They are usually very strict with who goes in even if she is on your arm. No ID no visitor.

Well , the girl in the resepcion told me when I come back in the evening , that my girlfriend (she have been with me at the hotel once before) was her to pick up some stuff ,so they have given her the key, and without a surprise some of my stuff was gone from my room. Another one have bribed the recepsiongirl with 100soles ,to get in to my room when I was out, that i know cause i meet this girl again later (it was the crazy Roxana from Pucallpa) And another time they tried to get me to pay 70 soles for a call i received to my room. So many bad experenses wit ML, and also heard 2 others guests camplained in the lobby while I stayed there. yeeea the cajas fuerte is a joke, so small , and easy to just pick up from your room and put in a small bag and out they go. yes very good location, thats true, but now I live even closer to the kennedy park at a department , safe, clean and quiet.

Did you receive any indemnisation of the hotel? This persons receives 1500 USD but it was a big shit. And didn't cover the half of the real price but its better than nothing!

I hope you can give me an advice. I went two time in Peru but I always was disappointed. The first time I went to Iquitos. I saw beautiful girls but very shameful to speak with a foreign. Arrived in Lima yesterday and contacted David prior to my visit as so many others have suggested. I know much has been said about David, but I really must add this comment to illustrate the type of person he is. David is away travelling. If what you claim is true, it makes absolutely no sense! Peru is certainly not for everyone and I would suggest that you try other countries or consider "paying" for sex like some of the others.

Together with a senior member and his girl, my buddies and I decided to hit the infamous Tequilla Rocks last night. Got there about 10 or so and the place was still empty. I don't like "paying" for sex and I repeat that Lima is not my pleasant town for fucking. I know every country in South America and Peru is the last on the classification. I know very well Iquitos too. In every country I don't "pay" for sex but in Peru if I don't pay I usually don't have sex. ;)

It is exactly as previously reported. It's about 40 minutes & 20 soles from Miraflores, about 1 mile past the Minka Shopping Plaza in Callo. Entry fee is 15 soles and FS for 20 soles. Extra services always available for more. I was told they open at 3 pm & close at 10 pm every day. Dozens of girls all ages standing in the doorways of what must have been prison cells many years ago. There are many taxis available and even snack shops. It was much cleaner than I expected.

I paid this 19 year old 20 soles for pictures in lieu of sex. She was happy to do pictures then offered anal for 30 soles more. I passed.
