In these countries you are never sure if it is a original or a copy but believe these girls have the newest of the newest stuff.

Here is a good example: A orginal Nokia C7, cost something like 13, 000 baht, a copy make from China, looks like the real thing color and all cost 2500 baht still nothing to sneeze at for a working girl from Gullivers, Insomia or Climax that is a month rent for many Thais. After 2 month the thing started to fall apart piece by piece and although many of the Thais know this they still want the item. This says a lot about the person (For those who see the Big picture in life) I guess its like owning a fake Rolex? Trying to be something they aren't and a personality of keeping up with the Jones?

IMHO, there are people like this everywhere in the USA these are the type of people who borrow what they can't afford, leverage there equity in their home to purchase, Lexus and Benz while working their job living beyond their means. I don't need to say where these people are today?

What we are talking about particular in the East is if you are living as a pauper and you just finished spreading your legs and have cash 2500 baht and walk down Sukhumvit and run into a storefront selling phones. She see a knockoff and decides to buy it 2500 baht, now she goes back to her apartment and runs into the manager the manager reminds her that she is behind rent. She gets a call from her mother in Isaan that she needs money to feed her child and that her father is sick and dying?

We are talking about priorities and when we talk about Thais they seem to have priorities backward. Don't save, live for today like tomorrow will never come to collect and spend. I assume in general that the majority of women spreading their legs in Thailand don't make that much and renting a room for 1500 baht and 2 or more girls sharing should be buying a IPHONE, and of course it is their choice being in the West or East!

Now I know a girl that use to work at D. D. And she made a month somewhere around 75, 000/100, 000 baht, she had a 15, 000 baht phone, purchase a small house for a family and takes care of business like buying more land and saving for the day she retires. In her case along with any women P4P or not I couldn't give a flying F-k since they can afford to buy one! We like having the large living room to party in. We travel as a group to have fun for 2. 3 days and make sure there is at least one such apartment with a large living room. Musical beds is definitely on. We also get one or two other standard rooms in the same hotel depending on the number of guys on the trip. I am sorry if that was not clear.

Both, the Somerset and the Lebua have spectacular apartments great for partying in. The Somerset one in particular has a large living room with French Windows overlooking Bangkok from the 27th floor. It was a GF hotel a few years back. Wondering if that has changed now. Have not stayed at the Lebua without family so far, so I am not sure of that one. That is why I was asking.
